This is a great example of why I hate this whole fake trans rants about women sports, and why I wish people would just say they hate trans people. The argument is a trans woman has an advantage over born/biological females? So if this navy commander can meet the physical requirements, then what's the problem? This is why I hate the disingenuous nature of the trans discussion, using dumb things as talking points instead of just saying what it's about. Just say you hate trans people, the idea of them. I saw the same garbage with gay marriage. Arguing about baking cakes or flowers, when the reality it's just you don't like gay people.

Somebody sold them businesses and homes for handsome sums. Much of old stock camada is aged and susceptible to things like covid. Many people have an ego that keeps them from taking on a job. Yes, the Canadian way of doing things is really different. In Canada, we are the slowest, least efficient, and most resource-wasting management systems. Look at the police on the street: when they see someone committing a minor driving offence, they stop in the middle of the street blocking almost all street lanes to put out a show of power to everyone disregarding how the police is creating heavy traffic wasting other people' time, energy, money,and fuel. Lived in same Canadian province my whole life, here’s a solution to immigrants complaining go home to your country. Canada has been ruined by immigration but to be more specific Indians, they are everywhere, in PEI every single service industry job has been taken over by them and so a stigma is created working in fast food, gas stations, ect. No other race works there but Indians, it’s easy to spot an Indian on the road too, if not a massive dumb Punjabi sticker on their door just look at the license plate, you will see their surname every time. I lived in Pakistan for 5 years for medical school. As much as I appreciated it, I knew I could not settle there. You will appreciate all the little things once you move. You can get ripped off by utilities company over there. Unless you know someone in power you don’t stand a chance. The inflation there is much higher than here. Some days you can’t find any meat or other foods. Almost everyone is trying to rip you off. Also safety is an issue. I was young and dumb. I was never targeted but it happens to locals all the time. As a westerner they can spot you a mile away even if you dress like them. You’re complaining about the cold, wait till you feel the heat. Electricity goes out all the time. You need to know people and have family in these countries. You can’t get things done independently like you can in the west. Also there are very few jobs that allow for the standard of living you are used to. If you are willing to sacrifice 90% of what you have now then you might have a chance. Lastly, you will most likely have to put your children in an American school when you get there because they don’t speak the language and they will act like westerners. And hide your wife from YouTube for God’s sake. If you had a billion dollars would you broadcast it to the world?

For sure, things are getting more tough around the world but what really surprises me is that the people who have been living for 10+ years in Canada saying that things changed in Canada. Well, of course, things will change, its changing everywhere including where you immigrated from. I have been in Canada for 5+ years now and finally am a citizen and I can tell you that where I came from is even worse in terms of inflation and affordability. People compare Canada to Dubai (where I came from) and say dumb things about the luxuries available there forgetting they can get these luxuries anywhere if they have the money. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. Their life has changed for the better, they live in rented flats/or on lease, their children study in good schools and so on, and they dress also so well, that you cannot differentiate between them and the people they work for.\nMany of the so called advanced countries do not have many well educated people like our country, the children there are not as knowledgeabe like Indian kids, their knowledge is limited to the town they live in, they don't know anything about the world outside.\nAnd now with the Khalistani terrorist living freely there it is all the more dangerous. I am an American. I am looking to relocate to Canada because of the bad experiences I have had as a California Licensed Structural Engineer with 25+ years of experience. This US license is really difficult to obtain because the exam has a 25% pass rate. In California, it is much tougher because of the earthquakes the state experiences.\n\nInstead of being treated with respect for having this Structural Engineer License, I have been treated badly by structural engineering firms in the US. In the US, you can be fired for no reason at all. They use Performance Improvement Plans to lay me off because I am much smarter than the people I work with. Licensed Structural Engineers do not have job security - so expect to work only a few months.\n\nIn the US, you will have a job for 4 months because your boss has decided to hire someone cheaper and give himself a raise. This happened to me at the City and County of Denver.\n\nLicensed Structural Engineers do not have job security at all because employers do not care about their employees. With workplaces like that, the US is not the place to be. American is not the greatest nation when you have morons like Harry Dunn and Lloyd Christmas from the movie Dumb and Dumber running things! Americans are downright stupid! That is why I am considering relocating to Canada.\n\nI started taking structural engineering courses at the University of British Columbia so I could better myself and get some Canadian experience. Canada is a land with great resources, great opportunity and potential, but for a place with so much supposedly smart people they do alot of dumb things. Been here 7 years now and I have seen so many issues that have obvious solutions but because of some weird culture or heritage or whatever they just keep doing the same thing until it hurts them. The real estate market is an absolute MESS and everybody knows. Money laundering, realtors colluding to set prices, blind auctions etc you name it. But they are just gonna keep doing the same thing until the country is in a major recession. Then everybody is going to be crying for bailouts. The health system is a MESS. Trying to find a doctor is like finding a needle in a haystack. They have them driving taxis instead, claiming that their qualifications arent as good. Yet they dont have enough doctors or nurses to support anything. Coworkers whose spouses work in those industries let me know they have to be working ridiculous shifts because there are not enough people. The taxes are ridiculous. I work in I.T. and taxes are like roughly half my salary. Many coworkers have told me all the illegal stuff they do to get around the taxes. Which I don't do because I wasn't raised like that. But people get taxed so much everyone is doing some thing to try to bypass it. And if you dont know the tricks or dont want to do them, you just get screwed. People don't talk about real issues here. There is alot of fake positivity and optimism because they dont want people to get sad and suicidal from the really long and harsh winter. I used to wonder why there were so many train delays until some one explained to me that many people commit suicides in winter by stepping in front of the trains. The only thing propping up this country is the constant influx of immigrant slave labour through the college system, (Like a ponzi scheme). But the immigrants are going to stop coming here if they cant even afford to live at all. Even the regular citizens cant afford it. So what will the country do after that, since there is an elderly population and not enough people to support the industries? Right now most of the immigrants come here and save up there money to go somewhere else or back home after they realize what a shitshow it is. I even have coworkers born and raised in Canada who are telling me they want to leave. Canada needs to stop patting itself on the back for doing stupid apologies and stuff like that, and actually do economically sound things to stop digging themselves into this hole. Great potential for this country but I don't know if it will ever be realized.

For the shopping experience, they have the guys go in carrying hand bags. That's going to get their attention since shoplifters could easily put things into the bags and most people don't bring computer bags, hand bags etc when they shop.\n\nI've had instances where people were awful to me for no apparent reason (I'm white), and it struck me that if i was black, I would attribute the terrible treatment to racism since I couldn't think of any other reason for the bad treatment. \n\nAnother form of racism not covered here is the racism of low expectations. If people assume that you are too dumb to understand something or too poor to afford something, that's wrong. Same holds true for treating women as if they won't understand. Usually this behavior is done, not by bad people, but by people who just haven't had a lot of interactions with different people of different races. So they haven't had the chance to have those stereotypes personally disproven.
