This is a joke ! The same thing by the Canadian Border. People can't just come across the border but blame the US. If they took the border that serious they would have finished it years ago. I would love to move to Japan , but i can't just go there illegally It doesn't work that way. All these people coming across illegally won't get any jobs. They will know if you are a citizen or not.

I was a backpacker in Australia and I have family that migrated 25 years ago. I think you should have spent more time up north. Loads of lovely photos to take in Broome. Go deep in the outback and meet the indigenious communities. I was invited to closed land and got to experience and see the indigenious holy land. I know ''PERTH'' is regional but regional true regional is where the culture is. I was obviously there for a different experience but from a photography point of view there is a lot to be seen. Cape Tribulation Groote Eylandt. Housing wise it is mega expensive and flights would make my eyes water flying back to the UK. I totally get what you are saying regarding immigration. It seems to be all about what visa you are on which becomes grating. I was in oz from 2013-16 then moved on to Canada. Fresh produce is not that great in Canada and it was cold. Those are my only complaints.

You did miss the one important issue and that is health insurance. I think you did a good job of discussing he issue again and were genuine with your opinions. I went to montreal in 1990 and it was great because it was like Europe and so french and unlike the US. I dont know what it would be like to live there but for vacation it was fun. And i think it is obvious because you both have money now the us Healthcare system is superior to Canada. If i dont have money for health insurance, i would love Canada for being free. But if i have serious illness, the us is superior.

I came to Canada back in 2021 from Mexico to pursue an MBA in Vancouver. All in all, I definitely have a lot to thank Canada for: a new career, new friends, and better work/life balance, to mention a few. I was supper happy to land in tech after graduating and working as a Product Manager for a Vancouver start up. In as much as I am a proud Nigerian. Nigeria is difficult. The laws doesn't work for the rich in Nigeria. Police brutalities , if you don't know anyone, you can't get a job. Insecurities everywhere. Though Nigeria is indeed a fun country. But if I had the opportunity to leave Nigeria, I would never return, I love our culture and traditions but it is hell if you're not rich or financially stable. If you're rich, Nigeria is the best place to be.

Hello and thank you for sharing your experience living here in the United States. I was born and raised here. It looks to me as if you live in a north eastern state. I do too, Michigan. And to be fair it can be very boring living here in the winter unless you like being outside in the cold. If you do there are so many fun things to do like skiing, sledding, snow shoeing skating ect.. But in the summer months everyone has fun and socializes where I live in my town. We have a lot of kids . 4 parks all different to enjoy. We have 4 or 5 lakes to enjoy and a large river that runs through our town. People are always walking, running, riding bikes and playing sports all around here everyday all summer. There are also many different clubs and groups you can join with people of like interests all year round. I would say if you are the type who likes a lot of interaction then get out and look around. Not everyone is sitting in the house all day. Also maybe try another neighborhood or state if your not happy where you are. Also if you feel disconnected from your neighbor's then may I suggest having a BBQ and inviting everyone to come and bring a dish to pass to get to know everyone. We have one in our neighborhood every summer and it started with one new neighbor who moved in and wanted to get know everyone. I hope you will receive my suggestions in love as I feel sad that you feel so lonely here and I hope it gets better. You could be the one to change everything for your neighborhood. ?

When I was a little girl growing up in Belize I ONLY wanted to come to America to be with my mother.. she brought me to America when I was 11 years old by the time I was 14 years old I had so much anger I ask my self, why would she bring me to America? I wanted to know why didn't she just leave me in Belize and take care of me from there. I hate it here, who would do this to their children? why would you take me from Paradise and bring me to hell... I'm Covid negative but for reasons that I can't go into, I haven't had my 3rd vaccination (until January). I live in Quebec's Outaouais region and through I love my home and would likely never move there needs to be mention that many of my fellow Québecois are very intolerant of race and language differences and the more you go north the worse it gets. People leave every country (if their government allows it) and people enter every country (if that government allows it). That is life - each country has its good and bad points depending on where you live, your personal list of things of must-haves, and your personal bubble of friends and family. I laugh about Vancouver being rainy - it's getting too warm and dry. I miss the rains and colder temperatures - this is not Hawaii LOL Some people have weird expectations. I'm glad Vancouver doesn't have much snow but I'm sure some will complain about that.\n\nTo generalize about any city, country, etc. is just odd - ask yourself what you're looking for, visit at different times of the year, etc. Don't just talk to a handful of people or just visit once LOL It's like changing jobs - sometimes it's the best decision to leave a country or city and sometimes it's not. In other words, DO YOUR RESEARCH and EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF! Some places you'll love and some places you won't - we love California but would not want to live in a warm place 24/7 but others would. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT but also realize you can change locations later... and yes, children are resilient and no, you don't need your family to help out otherwise why have kids to begin with.

Our Lord Jesus Christ was asked what it really mean to love your neighbor?  So He told a story about a weary traveler who was robbed, beaten and left alone alongside of the road (Luke 10:25-37). I love Canada, I have a lot of family in Toronto and have been there many times as well as Montreal and Vancouver. Tbh, there’s no place like the US. We have all types of climates and geography. From deserts, tundra, rain forests, etc. We have some of the best mountains, beaches, and cities on Earth. If you like cold weather, stay up north like Chicago or Boston. If you like normal every season weather, we have many places for that. Mediterranean weather in California, and tropical weather in Florida. We have it all. We have the best sports fans in the world and every sport is accepted here. You can even see so many people play Rugby and Cricket in many parks. Many great universities throughout the country. Best attractions in the world for all age groups. High pay and decent cost of living in most part of the country. Supercar culture is the best in the world especially in SoCal (my personal favorite), TV and entertainment, and the list keeps going on and on. I know that the government in this country is pretty messed up, but hopefully that will be resolved in the future. I also respect the safety that Canada has, but have to admit that Toronto is getting pretty dangerous in some areas. Plus the History of America is amazing. I really do love Canada and would live there if I had to move out of the country, but there’s no place like the USA. ??❤️??

Governments don't give a f about racism because its doesn't apply to them, majority of these institutional leaders are narcissistic, they luck empathy and don't know how to put themselves in others shoes. If they really really want to eradicate or reduce racism they would have done. They love it when they see the minority crying and angry, it empowers them and feed their ego. We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. It's also quite a shock when they see all of the errors in the Quran which is supposed to be the pure word of an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Then they see things like- the sun revolves around the earth and sets in a pool of muddy water. It's like somebody telling you that your dear friend has been lying to you for the last 50 years of your life. You just can't believe it. You don't want to believe. You defend your friend, you love your friend. \n\nSo instead of insulting these poor Muslim people try helping them by suggesting that they read the Koran cover to cover from beginning to end. Then they will see for themselves that this 7th century book conflicts with modern scientific and historical knowledge. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. Muhammad put harsh punishments in it so that they would submit out of fear. This is why Islam is so violent. \n\nTo our Muslim friends in humanity. I'm so sorry that you were lied to. What I would like to know is why in the case of roxum road crossing we never saw any US officials there stopping people from illegally leaving the US hmmm! We had the RCMP there all be it as bellboys but they were a least present. There's nothing to be scared about. Muslims are peaceful. Whether you choose to believe that or not is your choice. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but don't judge someone based on their religion. I'm Muslim and know other Muslims and not one of them would harm even an insect let alone a human being. We are all humans, so have some humanity and show love.

growing up in canada, i felt left out in the blk community b/c i am a 5th generation blk cdn on mom's side and 3rd on my dad's - when other black ppl not canadian born met me - i tell them i'm cdn, but i always used to get the question - where are you really from - they were looking for me to say the islands - when i told them my paternal grandma was born in 1901 in canada - that's when the questions stopped. i've been told that b/c i wasn't from the islands, i had no culture in college, but a mbr of the black student society put him in his place i heard he got into a lot of trouble. i was asked what do we eat as in food as canadians what kind of music do we listen to - at our blk canadian weddings, the only carribean song played was hot hot hot by arrow - we played straight up r and b and motown. i hv been rejected by other blk men b/c i'm not west indian enough...it was hurtful. even with 'friends' they made of my cdn heritage but i used to think, why are you making fun of me knowing that my family and ancestors were in canada first - they were 1st generation - i live in the usa now and i'm with an african american man - he has never treated me as if i were different and he loves going w/me to canada. my parents told me it was jealousy on those ppl's parts - one guy i used to be friends with in college, when i went to his house, his mom was from the islands, when she met me - she said, 'you cdn ppl are loud' and that did it for me - i didn't date her son but when he met my parents, they never said any of that crap to him. in the usa, the african americans don't treat differently at all - my ex mom in law thought we were american but decided to live in canada - b/c she was surprised that blacks do live in canada. her other daughter in law's family were from the islands - but she gravitated more to my family and felt comfortable around them more than her family and this ex sis in law would brag about the islands this and that and she would make comments about my looks being skinny and such but it was jealousy - i didn't care much for her b/c she was very insecure. i felt once again, i was a young girl in college again - being around island ppl....i would love to meet drake and ask him did he feel left out and isolated because he wasn't from the islands - he makes me very proud being a blk canadian - his dad is african american and his mom is jewish. i still hv dealt w/racism not much with wht ppl, but with my own ppl - which is quite sad and on top of it-colorism, that also played a part from my family - being called pygmy, chocolate dip, nappy hair - it hurt but these so called relatives, they aren't all that anymore, they had hard lives as children...when ppl see something in you that is special and they don't have, that's when their ugliness shows -

I am sure the Canadian govt. knows what is BEST for Canada or they would of NOT let them in , in the first place.  Maybe the Canadians love muslims.  I mean why would you let people in you don't like,  it don't make sense.  I think the Canadians love muslims.  I think Europe loves muslims.
