I lived in Canada from 1983 to 2016 after I left the US Air Force in '83. I was born in the SF Bay area, and grew up there in the Hippie peace love/Viet Nam era in the 60's and 70's. I now live in Seattle. As we have travelled to San Fran, New Orleans, Nashville, Miami, Vancouver (Canada) and New York in the last 6 months, I kinda have a pretty good idea how it was on both sides of the border way back then, as well as right now. We have 2 rental homes, and I STILL have to work until I'm 70 to retire without worrying about losing it all because of the the high cost of health care. Your observation of race/political/religion relations are naive at best, you need to travel the country first hand to see it. Canada has it's far share of right wing crazies as well. They're mostly not armed, and most fights are 5 minute shouting matches. I know this because I work on construction sites. Canada doesn't have commercials for pharma or ambulance chasers. Because big pharma is kept in check, and with a population slightly smaller than California, frivolous lawsuits would clog the courts. If the PM killed some one on the corner of Yonge and Bloor in Toronto, he'd go to jail. You can get an abortion in Canada. There's a fraction of the Fentanyl crisis happening in Canada, and they have waaayy less homeless in the street. Canada has 2 weeks paid vacation AND paid holidays. The tax rate is higher in Canada, but many of the benefits make up the difference. It's cheaper to buy a house in Seattle than Vancouver. You can get a 30 year mortgage in Washington as well, instead of 5 or 10 years. Good and services tend to be cheaper and more plentiful Stateside. Mail service runs on weekends, it hasn't done that in Canada since the 80's. As it stands, I'm in Seattle right now because it isn't the typical US city by far. But I'm thinking when it comes to retiring, I'm putting Canada on the list. Being a dual citizen also makes me eligible for the other Commonwealth (universal health care) countries like Australia.

Mexican border needs to be DMZ zone & patrolled by special national guard unit both sides. Cartels must be labeled as FTOs. This has to stop. Our country is in shambles as is can't even support our own. China's pushing fentanyl through cartels. I realy feel for these migrants theyve come so far fleeing obvious horrors and poverty but they need to go through the process man. Most of these people are probably fine folks but it only takes one terrorist one pound of fentanyl to kill millions we need secure borders and better trade with Mexico who is more closely allighned to our values than China make everybody rich cut China and people will only try to get to Mexico for a better life.

SINCE 2021CRIME IS UP POLICE. PRESCENSE DOWN. SAD FOR THE COMUNITIES AND CHILDRENN DIEIING DUE TO DRUGS. 15 YEAR OLD WAS KILLED. JUST A WEEK AGO BY MS 13 members from Mexico in the US.. More terrorist. Please God I pray for everyone pleaase help your peopple from the murders thefts pains. ??❤Amen

This is an invasion, do not let your heartstrings get pulled to the fact that the cartel is running this Mass migration so that they can do a quick burst of fentanyl and murderers into your country, I know your first instinct is to feel sorry for these people but, it's hard to root out the good from the evil and that's what they're hoping on

I got clean and was still homeless, and I couldn’t qualify for any benefits at all because I was a white American, while drug dealers who jump the border get fast track benefits and housing for no other reason except there skin color. They will never work, why would they? They can just get benefits forever and sell drugs to get nice things while America crumbles from within.

Young girls are being trafficked. Democrats don’t care at all. If they do they are awfully quiet about it. 100,000 fentanyl deaths each years. Biden doesn’t care because their probably not his voters. Everyday 20 veterans commit suicide in the USA. Neither party cares. Biden’s homeland security chief lies with a straight face that the borders are secure and gets away with it because nobody cares. So MF sad.

This is nothing short of an INVASION AT OUR BORDERS!! I can guarantee you that if we had responsible voting laws in this country just as simple as having an ID and proving American Citizenship, we wouldn’t be having this problem. Democrats don’t want those laws, and Democrats DONT WANT TO STOP what’s going on at the border, bcuz these are votes for them. The most utterly ridiculous myth about voter ID laws is that they’re racist due to low income families not being able to afford them. ANYONE with common sense knows that BULL$Hit, bcuz literally every state in the US has programs that’ll provide FREE IDs and help to get there. It’s time to stop blaming the government, and start blaming those that are the cause of this, the VOTERS that put the POSs in office. The Fentanyl epidemic and the blood of those that have lost their lives, is on the hands of the same VOTERS. Time to focus and rally against the ones that are the REAL reason for all of this. In fact, let the numbers tell you what changed. Look at the #s before 1/21 and now. People may lie, but the numbers never do!

Canada is nice, until you speak out against the alphabet mafia. Vancouver was beautiful when I visited a couple years ago and now it's ruined thanks to fentanyl and thanks to useless politicians that refuse to clean the streets. Learn the hard way then. I live in the Bay in California and it's a mess thanks to libs dem policies where criminals have no real consequences for their actions. Water here is perfectly fine imo and I don't need a car to get good food
