I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. One of your comments stated there is no freedom of speech in Canada. Can you elaborate on what you mean. You seem able to openly use your social media platform to be critical of Canadian leadership and society without fear of reprisals from the authorities. i dont believe in the american dream...i dont believe in the hi level of freedom of speech or freedom of religion we have here..i dont believe in the philosophy of multi culturalism which america is founded on...i like one cuisine, one language, one ethnicity, one kind of music, one religious heritage, one kind of dance, one kind of clothing, one kind of hairstyles, one kind of look...but most americans like having a variety of cuisines etc...i do not...i think each country should only have one culture and one cuisine.... i would ban foreign cuisines and foreign holidays and ban mentioning foreign holidays and ban practicing foreign religions... thats why im moving out of usa asap : )

I moved over there in 2014 with full rights as a citizen. My trade wasn't recognised. Canada has its own rules about everything. You need to have training to pour drinks in a bar wtf.! Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. Who in the hell would now want to immigrate to Canada ? Outrageous housing costs which consume most of your income . One has to work at least two to three jobs just to try to keep from completely drowning economically . A healthcare system which is on life support . It is next to impossible to get a doctor . Emergency waits times at hospitals can range from 4 to 24 hours . Traffic from hell in all of the major cities .... particularly Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The crushing cost of living . A political leader who is a complete fool who has basically destroyed the country in just 8 years . As if all of this wasn't bad enough ...... 5 months of winter from hell . Living in Canada is now an extreme struggle in every way imaginable . One will always struggle . One will always work like a dog . One will very likely fall into extreme debt in Canada just to survive . One has to pay outrageous taxes on their income leaving them with about 50% of what they actually earn after they have paid all of the combined taxes on everything that they buy or services that they use . Forget about ever being able to save money . Incomes are about about 35% less than other advanced than those in other advanced countries for the same skilled job . One will never own a home . One will never be able to start a family . One will always freeze in the winter . Life in Canada has become an absolute hell . The Canadian dream is as dead as dead can be . It is no longer a country where one can earn a decent living , own a home and live a good life . On top of all of this it has an authoritarian government which keeps passing new laws to reduce free speech and civil rights .

Our Health Care system is broken. We have very bad doctors and insane wait times. Our Health Care is tax funded and it's impossible to sue the hospital if they misdiagnose or mistreat an illness. When you pay for your doctor you will get the best care. Not up here though. One thing per visit and you must see a medical clinic first, if you can get an appointment. My last 2 visits were 14h wait times, and that's at the biggest hospital in BC. \n\nWe don't have free speech. We heavily tax our poorest people. Our gas is over $2 a liter. Food is very expensive especially at fast food places and restaurants. \n\nOur internet is third world at best but with some of the highest data costs in the world. \n\nWe have a run on our borders and our infrastructure is bursting at the seams. We put the needs of other countries before our own. Could be a good thing but not when helping the world is making it harder and harder for those born here to actually live and thrive here.

You forgot to list Las Vegas in your list of largest US Cities. The Las Vegas Metro area has 2.9 million people (while the city of Las Vegas itself is small, the real city is the metro area that contain Henderson, Sumerlin, Enterprise, Paradise, North Las Vegas, Green Valley, etc.) Your list excluded Las Vegas because Las Vegas is made up of a collection of cities not just one. I moved from Canada to the USA many years ago and the USA is definitely a better place to live. There was too much discrimination in Canada and the Canadian Healthcare system is just an excuse for you to not get any medical treatments. There is no freedom of speech in Canada and they use the high taxes to rob you. Maybe for all these reasons, the U.S. Economy is the strongest and most robust in the world. Don't take my word for it, Elon Musk is widely recognized as one of the smartest people in the world and he moved from Canada to the USA just like I did.

My teenage daughter gets pregnant and I wouldn’t be bankrupt. \nIn Canada, there was a time when the federal government’s official opposition party had, as its platform the separation of one of our provinces out of the Canadian nation. I'm Canadian and worked in Dertoit for almost 10 years, I crossed the border daily working for GM. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.

Most of the really negative comments come from lefties, especially female or gay ones. Not surprising, as Canada is more tolerant of such things. Too much so, if you ask me. We could do with more morals in Canada, as we've become very hedonistic and selfish under Trudeau's eoke socialism. I'm not a fan of American gun culture or the extreme political polarization. However, I do admire the fact that free speech seems valued more highly in the US. Also, Canada is over-regulated and over-taxed. Unfortunately, there's a large class of freeloaders in Canada as a result.
