There are dying towns all over Canada with vacant buildings / houses. People for whatever reason only want to live in the big cities that’s the problem.

Although I agree with this, the majority of Canadians want a left wing government , it was elected by the people. As I always say democracy is the best system even though at times you may get leaders you don't agree with.

It is so sad that middle eastern countries and their people believe in and run their governments by the Koran. If all of these people want it that way then they need to stay where it is the rule. If they don’t, then change it. There are many countries that would help. It couldn’t be any worse than what smugglers do to innocent humans.

Your government will NEVER listen to you. You are the great experiment. Just like the UK. NOTHING will change with the change in leadership. Because votes don't empower government. Treasury bonds do. Your vote is an illusion to keep you compliant. Just vote, if enough people want change, change will happen. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The UK government only had 20% of the votes and now they are in power and there are riots all over the UK because Two teir keir siad he would rather be in DAVOS than WESTMINSTER.... It's a complicated situation, sad and painful but we can expext the EU to solve and take on all the issues of the arab world when arab countires are not making an effort to help there people.\n\nChange need to happen in order to help those who wants better life but it can not fall on a few countries.

Listen I feel for migrants and refugees, but it’s also not the job of other countries to take them on. Most countries are already struggling to provide for their own people. This is why I understand why leaders like Trump say he wants to send back illegal immigrants. So much resources have to provided to refugees and migrants. It’s important for people to also push back and reform their own countries. If they are seeking refuge due to circumstances beyond any control, then it’s somewhat understandable…however, many factors need to be considered before taking them on. All country’s citizens deserve the priority first. So many countries are struggling and then are expected to provide for illegal immigrants/migrants :( it’s not fair to these countries.

People complain about doctors leaving to the States for more money. But reality is, there is no job opening for new specialists finishing up fellowship. So they are pushed around diff hospital as part timer and they end up leaving. Family doctors are also pushed to become a hospitalists or to just become surgery assistant to avoid paperworks and fees that follow being family doctors. Our healthcare is becoming useless because our government is not grasping the reality.\n\nWe need more highways, a real metro system for to support its growing population with integrated infrastructure. If we need to construct more housing, make it possible for architects to build faster and make it easier to become an architect here too. What is wrong with our roads? Gardiner is being fixed and I hope not for 10years. \n\nThis government legalized drugs for taxation, but cannot control harder drugs invading our cities. Our parks are filled with needles...\n\nNow I am in the process of dual citizenship to move out while I retire. Because I dont want to be sick and wait for 10-20hours in the ER.

They’re are not the EUs problems. Maybe they should all stay in their country’s and rise up against the governments that are destroying their countries. The Middle East looked a lot better when European countries controlled them. Now look. Just like Africa and Asia. Now these people want to flock to Europe and destroy these European countries as well. Look at what’s happening in the UK right now.

Racism isn't an issue. Governmental ineptitude is, at all levels. And I came to the conclusion some time ago, that people living on the streets and in abject poverty is what the governments want. This isn't just an issue in Canada. It's happening all over, and it is fully deliberate.

I live in rural Atlantic Canada. There is lots and lots of land not being used. People driving long distances from their huge single family home to get to town or the city. If no Canadians are moving to the country side to start homesteads, then why not immigrants. I don't see the point of someone moving to a local small town to work in a Tim Hortons or not if there is no job available and buy franken foods from huge corporations. Instead if some immigrants want a homesteading life (some probably would), give people grants to make apartments in their huge single family farmhouses left from the days when people had ten kids, and subdivide their land so the new people can farm it. The local people can get rent money and payment for the subdivision and still have a large plot of land left over). Grow the local farmers markets! Grow the small towns to what they were 100 years ago! Make it so people only had to drive to the city when they wanted to, not for work. There is so so much empty land out here used for massive lawns.

So many people come and commit crimes, ignore our laws and live off the government. We needed certain skilled people and I could care less what country they come from as that immigration is crucial to our economy and population. Right now there isn't enough housing for our own citizens. It's irresponsible. If families want to sponsor an immigrant family that's awesome. The rest of us want our tax money actually going to our citizens. That's not racist, that's common sense.

Such a BS answer. Did the Syrians leave during their war? Ukrainians? People flee a war zone. This is what has happened throughout history. The Gazans would love to leave. Who wouldn't want to leave a war zone.They are fenced in by their Arab brethern who don't want them. The question should have been will you take in the Gazans who want to leave, and there are plenty. If you want to talk about the crisis, let's start at the beginning, shall we? \nIt all began when the USA wanted to use Pakistan as a drop-off point for their army. Pakistan saw this as a golden opportunity and made the most of it. Pakistan and India were, unfortunately, enemies. \nLots of money started to flow into India, especially Punjab. They started helping criminal and hardline religious leaders so they could create problems for India. \nAfter Pakistan lost the war with India, many of those criminals fled. They went to Pakistan, Pakistan saw that as ppportunity and asked the USA for help. The USA was kind enough to take in those folks and dump them in Canada,. Give them funds to for their Khalistani movement, to create problem for India to make Pakistan happy. Just like the USA once funded Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc. to hurt Russia. \nMeanwhile, Canada started using those criminals as a Vote bank. And what do these folks do? They form gangs, of course! Gangs need people, so they started inviting or smuggling people from India. Most of those people are just criminals or the lowest of the low. \nWhen those Khalisthani creating problem for India, Canada and the USA support them. \nDrugs, smuggling, trafficking, and violence are the only things these Khalisthani have learned. \nUntil USA, Canada stop supporting Khalisthani movement both Canda and India will suffer from these people.

People are poor because they are lazy. You don’t have enough money? Get a second job, get a third job! I’ve seen a lot of poor people having the latest iPhone, very expensive sneakers, etc.Learn money management skills and work, work, work if you want to have a normal life in a new country.

Need a place where people who don't want to contribute to society can be allowed to live in peace with their own space to build their own homestead style life. Then you might see ideas and invention again instead of tent cities with garbage

The NATO country leaders won't tell you the REAL REASON. The POLITICIANS are being told by the MILITARY that MORE people are needed for World War 3. If you don't want to believe that, keep watching.

The government says we need immigrants to fill the jobs left by retiring boomers. Millennials, plus GenX ers out number Boomers so there are lots of people out there to fill jobs. Corporations like Mac Donalds, Tim Hortons etc. want immigrants so they can keep their costs low and make even more money.

this is all bullshit because before the covid 19 there was enough people to fill all the jobs in Canada no one can tell me that we needed to import 4 million students from India as a away to get to immigrate to Canada these people will never return back to India i would not be supprised that there aren't kick backs to the polititians there is no shortage of Canadian born citizens to take the jobs that are available this is a scam by the Liberals the covid 19 did not kill that many people the importing millions of East Indian students and getting cheques in the mail from the Canadian govermment there is no shortage of rental property because the East Indians want to live in large groups in one home to cut the cost of living but they new that Canada is no India

No wonder people do not want to rent out nowadays with disgusting rogue tenants like these. The system is broken. And the govt does not give a damn to fix it. The govt is equally responsible along with these rogue tenants for this ugly mess, all the govt wants is to tax vacant condo home owners for their own policy blunders and lethargic system. Who in the right mind would want to rent out after seeing this. My sympathies go out to these condo home owners for the plight they are in who are running from pillar to post to get their dues and to get these rogue tenants evicted.

You should get asylum in the nearest country that is safe. It's nonsens that most people want to go to the same place and travel half the globe doing it

stop buying property just to rent it out maybe get a real job instead of taking over properties that you dont intend to live in making the housing crisis even worse. same goes for the people who loaned out to make a bunch of apartments airbnb. you aren't providing anything, your taking something thats available off the market and then repackaging it like its helpful. its really a big part of why housing is so expensive no one wants to work they just want to be landlords.

Look, the challenging housing market is not this man's problem to fix. He rented his home out, they agreed on terms, she violated them repeatedly. What do you want from him, hes a charity?? He's just a man with a home. He shouldnt be demonized. Anybody can do the same if they want to. This is the simplest concept in society. You dont pay, you leave. Just so people understand, the Landlord and Tenant Board is PROVINCIAL. If you claim to want a better Canada, start with learning about the country that we’re in. Also, hold your provincial premiers accountable.

immigration is the sold out left wings peoples way to please there corporate overlords. i am a hardcore union and labour guy flooding the work market with immigration workers limits our ability to negotiate for better pay meaning companies can take more.\n\ni am not against immigration in total to have growth in the west and fill in the birth shortfalls we need immigrants. but the amount the west has taken in is much greater than we can expect grow and only causes us to get homelessness and gettos while the haves struggles to raise wages. what the common man wants is reasonable figures of immigrations and due to the flood might mean the coming years 0 immigrants is on the table.

Follow the money. Rapid population growth makes rich people even richer, and they don't want anything to change. Asset owners, real estate investors, universities, construction companies, retailers etc etc all benefit. Working poor and the migrants themselves pay the price

Our nations are our homes. Our borders are the national equivalent of the walls and doors of our houses. We, our parents and grandparents have worked hard to make our nation/homes comfortable for our children and our children's children, who are, oddly enough, of the same race as ourselves. Power stations, water and power distribution networks, sewerage, buildings, mines and farms etc. did not fall from the sky.\n\nBurglars want better lives. That is why they go into other people's homes to get a share of the stuff that the residents have worked had to pay for. Modern migrants are like burglars. Our governments are giving our homes away to burglars.

Landlords are parasites, they rely on other people to actually go out and stimulate the economy. The whole business model is to target high wage earners who cant afford a mortgage for whatever reason. Career landlords can cry whatever crocodile tears they want. They add no value to society.

Correction they don’t want to leave the Israelis land.. the left wingers are always about giving back right.. well in that case the Palestinians should leave and give the land back to the people who owned it first… just like a lot of liberals believ native Americans should be given their land back

Some people like to dunk on landlords but they forget that landlords do this as a means to make money just like any other job. As someone who also owns land, I know the frustrations of when a tenant doesn't adhere to the rules and uses the law to their advantage. It's gross. There are other people and even families who would want to have a roof over their heads yet selfish exploiters prevent such people from having a place to call home.

Canada should create more attractive cities. No more suburban cities that has no culture and looks like every other city. Ethnic enclaves and multi level housing brings life to big cities and attracts people who want to find community

The result: ever-inflating housing costs. Rich immigrants compound the problem. \n\n(3) Suburbanization: most of the new housing in Canada is in highway suburbs (over 80%), with their car-driven way of life. Once again, this is bad for the country’s ecological health. In addition, the result will be ever-growing geographies of nowhere. We will not be creating more Victorias or Quebec Cities. We will be creating more Surreys. \n\n(4) Downward pressure on the incomes of most people: the law of supply and demand is very simple: when there is a surplus of any commodity, that commodity becomes cheaper. When a commodity is scarce, its value rises. Labor is a commodity. Workers rightly do not want there to be a surplus of labor. Their livelihoods are threatened. \n\n(5) Future care of the old: the more people we add now, the more people we will have to take care of later, when their working lives are done. Adding immigrants now to pay for the care of the old is therefore a pyramid scheme. Eventually, in a generation or two, the population of the world is set to decline, and the well of immigrants will run dry. Canada should aim for fewer, rather than more, retirees – as preparation for that coming moment.

Migration is not the problem. The problem is those military age men with those fancy degrees who are cowards and run away instead of building their country and make it strong, they rather get everything for free from Europe who also refuse to adapt to new culture and follow the law of the land and want Europeans to submit to them. Europe needs to send them to prison. Rather take good people who will benefit Europe with culture and knowledge.

The left tries to silence common sense people from speaking out by labeling anyone who rightfully wants immigration numbers to drop to sustainable levels as racist etc. This narrative must stop. Common sense and the well being of actual Canadians must once again prevail! Tax dollars to get Canadians off the streets not to house thousands of immigrants in hotels.

We’re missing half the story. We didn’t see what enabled the customer to react. And inspired him to begin recording. The delivery guy is obviously one of those people we meet, who is an ass, and when he spoke to the customer like that. Is when he erupted. He keeps saying in the video “ you ain’t like that, you ain’t about that life”. Usually people respond like that after being threatened themselves. The delivery man, obviously showed aggression. As in previous experiences. I’ve met delivery men like this. They think they are tough until you respond, and show your toughness. This delivery guy started it. People are fighting each other without realizing that the real problem has always been the growing capital accumulation since the 1960s, which has led first-world countries to face this issue nowadays. Most politicians don't want people to stand up against the wealthy, better to have an easy target than to face the actual problem.\n Eat the rich!

I keep thinking that people will smarten up but in fact it continues to get worst. People continue to vote for the very political party that made this all possible. \nWe cannot sustain all these people. We need to fix the issues going on in our country with our own people first before we can even think about helping anybody else. And plus with all the determination that these fighting age men that are crossing. Why can’t they use this strength like the size groups of illegals and simply fight for their own country to make things better there?\nThe cone to our county and literally spit on our rules , and want to try and change things to the way there country is and what they are fleeing from.

It's not racism! It's regular people who want to protect their way of life. A way of life that made their country great. If the roles were somehow reversed and Brits went to middle-eastern countries, didn't conform to the culture and lifestyle, and then started turning their host countries into something that resembled Western countries, these middle-easterners would have rioted decades ago!

The west was been centuries exploiting natural resources, harassing natives, making deals with the devils and robber barons then when people from those nations seek refuge because their homeland is unlivable thanks to capitalism and proxy wars.\nThey want to act shocked that there's an influx of migrants looking for a new home after theirs is pretty much void of biodiversity, food and political stability.
