Don't bother with the UK, sadly. It's the same here. Mass immigration has suppressed wages and made most of our town and cities look like downtown Mogadishu. Pride in the country and your neighbourhood has gone, made worse by rampant woke indoctrination in schools and the workplace. Now we have an authoritarian/totalitarian government in charge (big majority on a third of the vote! and only half the electorate bothered to vote). The government and MSM demonise anyone raising their voice as 'far right' and the so-called 'police' patrol twitter and FB for 'hurty words' whilst leaving the streets to thugs, layabouts and Islamists. It doesn't even resemble what it was like in 2022, never mind 2020! I would leave, but where do you go. Also, it is my home.

The UK is just as bad, its becoming a dystopian nightmare as our governments systematically destroy our country and reduce native British to second class citizens in our own country by allowing illegal immigration of undocumented, people of unknown backgrounds. My advise would be avoid the UK.

I work in IT and compared to other European countries or USA by pre tax and post tax income is very low.. I'm single living in Hamburg and I get by well but this would be much harder with wife and children. And many come with families so they may struggle

Welcome to the ex-pat club. I left Canada 14 years ago. Talking to people I still keep in touch with in Canada I realize just after Trudeau got in power that Canada has changed. I suggest if you plan on a move do your research on where you are thinking of moving to. Do not rely on a vacation as they are very different than actually living in a place. I speak from experience. Do I get homesick? Yes but right now I would not even think of moving back to Canada. I am very settled and happy living in the EU even with the problems here. Some things to check out are various cities or towns in various regions of a country, healthcare, schools if you have children, cost of running a car (petro, insurance, etc), price of food, utilities, etc. If your work papers or degrees are accepted, what visas you will need. Once you have made a decision, start learning the language. I could do it anyone can do it.

I'm a Canadian living in the UK and can say two things - 1) if the West would stop bombing/exploiting/waging proxy wars in so many countries and displacing millions of people, this wouldn't be an issue. Stop funding war and pressure your reps to focus public funds back into your community. 2) The exploitative housing market has everything to do with corporate greed. We need to hold government and capitalism to account not immigrants. Blaming humans for wanting to survive is insane.

I have lived in Canada for the last 15 years. Great country. I have had opportunities here that I would never have had in the country I grew up in. Sure, Trudeau has rogered the country, but it will recover once he is voted out - that's democracy. It is better than the alternative - ask any Russian.... Things are no different in the UK or US or Australia or New Zealand....

If you would adopt local customs in the countries you migrate to, it would be a lot easier for you.

Karl Marx understood what is taking place in our Country very well. He said that, without a structure of law and order people will devour one another like wolves. So, in order to gain control over people, you must first break the system(s) that they rely on and then, once completely shattered, replace it with one that will be controlled by the Communist Party. Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

Sorry to hear the country you live in and love is not what it used to be. It's the same here in the U.S. If you would like to live in the U.S. I have been watching and enjoying your videos for several years now. For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. So leave Canada, in fact there are too many of you already. We are not the US, we cannot afford the social chaos of savage predatory capitalism. What is bringing this confederation down is exactly that. Wanting to cram Canada, all its constituent parts into an Merican hole. No matter the price. Goodbye Canada you hardly wanted to know us.

As much as I could make more money by living in the States no amount of money could make the anxiety of potential school shootings worth it. I know my kids have essentially 0% chance of that in Canada. Also getting cancer won't ruin me and my whole extended family financially. It's a mixed bag, I love aspects of both country and right now the affordability crisis here is awful but with the Liberals out of the way we'll bounce back. I would love to see a Conservatives + NDP + Green Party coalition, let conservatives run economic development, NDP the social programs and Green party be the climate watchdogs.

Math is simple: countries like Turkey pay almost the same salary in euros, yet the cost of living there is much lower. In countries like the USA, Canada, or certain Arab nations, the salaries can be 5-10 times higher. In places like Turkey, there are plenty of affordable yet high-quality restaurants, as well as effective marketing strategies that appeal to skilled professionals. To retain talent in Germany, you need to offer something special. If you’re paying a top-level engineer the equivalent of a hairdresser’s wage, why would they stay unless they’ve developed deep connections with the community or environment? Friendships and relationships can be crucial factors in retaining talent.\n\nBut with this current pay structure, I’m really not sure what to say. If you put high educated people in a bad position, plenty of contries offering them higher life conditions. It is same for Germans, Germany creating very good engineers, doctors, etc and they are leaving the country.\n\nMaybe instead of creating making migration easier. It is aslo good idea to retain yours.

Student visa to Thailand, you can get it from Laos Thai embassy. I have done this once, you go to Thailand as tourist, register with a school, to study anything, thai language if you want, example 2 times a week 3 hours each time, super minimal study. The school will make a bus tour with the students to Laos embassy, 1 night there and you will have student visa.\nIf you want to tske it super easy, you can also study english language, just to make it easy, but of course learning thai would be helpful.\nIt wasn't a big school with lots of students, just a small offline building with 30-50 foreigner students,\nBest part is that you can go instantly, no need to wait in your home country for months to get a visa.\nI think you can stay 5 years with student visa if you continue your study, maybe you need a paper from the school once a year to proof you didn't drop out.

We had not communicated in a long time BUT... I think you were surprized how much you enjoyed to exploration of Russia a few years ago but quality of life was very good then but even better now, but retaining the unmatched access to culture, very low cost of living much lower crime rate than Canada/US/Europe, and cost of living about 1/10th of Canada, great health and easy to get a residency and citizenship due to being from Ukraine originally. For your travels, it is a little more complicated due to US sanctions but from here in St Petersburg it is really easy to travel by bus to Estonia and fly anywhere in the world. Estonia is the cheapest cost of living in the Baltic. I have flown to California several times using that route and to London the flight is $50 euros. \nAlthough you explored a lot here there is so much more to see and experience.\nThere is no doubt the western countries that relied on cheap labor and resources from colonies are all in a downward spiral and the east is rising. All the BRICS countries have positive growth in quality life and economic growth and a total of 108 countries have either applied or expressed serious interest in joining the largest trade block in history while the US empire fades at an accellerating rate. I would not go back the the crime, homelessness, anger, poverty of the US but have family business to take care of every 4-5 years. The decline is not a temporary downturn, the banking collaps that is accelerating now and impossible to pay back debt, it is really sad to see how the US is turning out. When growing up in California we had everything , really the golden state but is a wreck now. They expect for someone to come to work to speak German on C1 level, I mean for a reasonable job and on the other end they're allowing all the immigrants in that don't know German at all. They want cheap labor, period. As well even if you're from some other EU country they look at you differently so I don't know how would they look at someone from outside of EU. Would avoid Germany, only as a last resort.

I was born and raised in Canada, 3rd gen on my Dad's side and 2nd gen on my Mom's side. I'm retired and would move abroad, but am impoverished now. Canada is a tragedy that is still happening. There are no good reasons why we are where we are now. This country has very little resemblance to the Canada I grew up in. It's a disgrace, and it's still getting worse. Alina, do not apologize for being able to see the reality here. Most of us do, and only the fools can't see it. Go where you are treated best, and don't look back.

I'm 51 years old, came to Canada when I was 36, I do love Canada but late for my age to immigrate again. If I was young I would travel to Scandinavian countries. Good Luck to you!!

I was born in Montreal in the mid 50s and growing up it truly was a free country with plenty of opportunity. Graduating from Sir George Williams University I was able to purchase a brand new Mustang and live in my own new construction 2 bedroom luxury apt. Food and going to clubs was never an issue and as I had worked during the summers, I had no student debt. Most Canadians back then were from European backgrounds and safety was never an issue. In the year 2000 I left for the United States for good. I worked , lived and retired in a small university town and have a conceal carry permit to protect myself even here. I remember when you didn't even need a passport to go back and forth to Canada . The great replacement has hit Europe the hardest but Canada is a close second. If I were to leave here it would probably be for Thailand or the Philippines where there is a reasonable cost of living and safer conditions. I feel for you as I too can never go home, not the home I came from.

If refugees 100% accepted the culture, laws and practices of their receiving country and assimilated the problems would be much less.

Same story, also moved to Canada(French Canada!!! :D) when I was 4, I'm 32, been in Canada like 24 years. Easy fit, my Dad was Canadian, so got Naturalized easily. I left Canada at the end of 2020. Mostly because of Covid/Work Opportunities in engineering. Now living in the USA with my Canadian Wife and visiting Canada 2 months every year, also happen to be born American, so again, easy(easier**, still hard) move for me. Currently working in engineering, less travel experience, but I did get to visit or work for long period of time in 5 countries. Anyway, I do have similar opinion, I think the solution is a federal housing initiative. We NEED to build north and have more cities than Toronto,Montreal & Vancouver. It would reduce rent & mortgage by a lot. Essentially solving the ''where are we going to put all those immigrants issue'', then secondly, we need to encourage entrepreneurship and business a lot more. We need more jobs and be less reliant on our USA neighbors or EU neighbors 3. Better transport, surprisingly a lot of Canadian don't visit all other Canadian province and prefer traveling out , hell, I want nothern Canada & Nothern Quebec to be more like Alaska, or make it easier from someone from Quebec to move to Alberta, but still easy enough to visit family and friends in their home state in under 3 hours. ;)

Now memory came back to me when I was in Vancouver for 3 days and enjoyed my time over Canada in 2015 for a concert, Canada was the first country I've visited outside of the United States I'll never for get it the people where amazing very polite there was a moment in my life that I wanted to move to Canada now thinking over my decision after some years later I'm glad I didn't. Anyone who buys property in a country that doesn't allow them to own it is making a massive mistake. Why would you buy an investment that you have no control over?

I've been studying the modern phenomenon of Western refugees. As the Western nations fail and implode culturally and economically many are fleeing to other countries to avoid the growing decadence and antWhite attitudes being inculcated into the public consciousness by the Leftist Marxists who are exploiting demographic divisions in order to destroy the Western nations of the world. The current term for cause of this destruction is 'woke virus'. However, the actual perpetrators of the woke virus keep themselves well hidden behind a wall of psychological shame is that used to keep people from seeing exactly who they are. They label people with weaponised words, cancel them and undermind them financially when they get too close to the truth or if they know the truth and try to share it with others.\nThere is indeed only one nation left standing that has the same core values as you do and would resonate with your demographic. And of course, that nation is thoroughly demonized in the Western media.

It's not just Canada that has fallen, the WEFs tentacles stretch far and deep. The UK, is broken, my home of 52 years is no longer home. My wife and I have decided to leave, there is no way on God's green earth we would send our daughter to school in the $hithole that is called England. We are researching like mad, currently top of our list is Bulgaria, Albania, Mexico. It's a huge scary decision, but we can't live like this in this broken land, it is heart breaking to see the country you loved torn apart slowly and painfully piece by piece. I left Canada in 2000 for an attractive job opportunity in Belgium. I had been workng in Canada for 20 yrs at that time and all of my education was completed in Canada. I did not leave Canada due to any major dissatisfaction with the country, but rather a professional opporunity that arose and the chance to experience Europe as a resident rather than a tourist. I never expected to stay in Europe long term, but one job led to another and I stayed on in Belgium until 2017 when I moved to Spain for my (semi-)retirement. Although I rented out the condo I owned in Canada from 2000-2022, after 5 years living in Spain, I decided I am not moving back to live in Canada and sold it. I have no regrets having left Canada when I did, nor do I regret my move from Belgium to Spain. I still visit Canada about once a year to visit family and friends, but a move back to my homeland is not something I would now seriously consider. \n\nGood luck with your move and settlement in your new home, wherever that is!

Canada is no longer great. As a third generation Canadian, I was always so proud of my citizenship and thought I was lucky to have been born in the best country in the world. Well, I no longer feel that way. This country is turning into a third world shithole. I want to leave sooo bad but where would I go? I'm 59 but If I were younger I would leave. Since my mother was German when I was born, I just recently found out that I'm also a German citizen from birth through descent through my mother. I've been living here in the US since high school when I moved from Victoria to Tucson, Arizona. I eventually got my US green card (permanent residency. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and became a US Citizen. At this point, I am a dual US and Canadian citizen in addition to being German citizen as well. I am applying for my confirmation of German citizenship through the German consulate in Chicago which would then allow me to obtain a German passport for access to live and work freely in EU and Schengen countries. I went to The Netherlands last January and I really feel in love with the Dutch culture and lifestyle. I am planning on spending at least a few years there as soon as I get my German passport. \nMy relatives in Canada keep telling me how lucky I am to be a US Citizen as they all say how terrible the situation has become in Canada. I am surprised since I've always considered Canada to be one of the top places to live in the world. I haven't lived in Canada for a long time and I've been doing relatively good here in the USA. I enjoy the US overall but we definitely have our share of issues here as well.\nAnyhow .... I wish you the best on your next location.

for those who say i the coments that a country needs to be monoethnic to be safe one question remains. How do legal migrants who go to work there make the country unsafe? I'm portuguese, we have many people from different ethnicities, and we are the 4th safest country in the world. You don't need to be monoethnic to be safe. In our case it would be historically innacurate with all the portuguese speaking countries around the world that have adopted most traces of the portuguese culture. Our country hasn't been monoethnic since the 1600s. One thing is not wanting illegals to cross easily another one is the blatant hatred and discrimination that I see in the comments.

A true Canadian would never ever leave his/her country. Obviously you're not a true/real Canadian. So, in your case it makes sense for you to move. Goodluck with your life abroad.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

I am sorry to hear this. I am in the same boat. I moved here around 37 years ago and found this country much better compared to my old country, especially when the army killed students. I decided to stay in Calgary, Canada. What makes me sad is seeing Canada going down the drain. While seeing everything getting worse, my old country becomes a prosperous, advanced and powerful country. My classmates back there were mostly high-level leaders, and some of them became elites. As the best student in the class, I could not get position even close to theirs. Only good thing is that I have been making a lot of money due to my strong technical knowledge and the capability to do difficult work. I hope I can at least maintain the same living standard when i am old, but it looks less and less certain. If I realized this at your age, I would have moved back.

Immigrants want to move here because it is very easy to get PR and then passport otherwise Immigrants would move to Australia or US. Most of the Immigrants who come here are for East Asia and Africa and they can't stand cold but they don't have options to go and settle in US and Australia. So Canada is banana Republic under liberal and they come and get the citizenship and then go and work in US and the ones who are villagers and not professional stay here because they can't move. Canada passport is not third world passport and eventhough I moved from third world country don't like to stay here and looking my options.

As a man from south of the Canadian border, I left the U.S. in 2003 with the intention to return there to live and work. Now, 21 years later, I can't imagine moving back. The variables just don't add up for me. My country has changed, I have changed, and I can't find a place on a map of the U.S. that I would want to drop into, except perhaps to visit.

Any other country would fight for their country, or like Ukraine wait till a country can take them in.. but not these..they fight k*ll all the time and we are expected to just let them in. Give them money housing etc and that ps more then we do for our own

Still plenty of opportunities in Canada? I watched and saw more than a few vloggers like yourself wanting to leave Canada. A few stated costs of living and shrinking opportunities. If you are a person with a good job where you are living, I would not encourage him/her to migrate to Canada. It used to be a great country, but not so much now, with slowly in decline; Neoliberalism and Trudeau and gov. has ruined it.

Hi Alina, yes I think most people must been kept in so much suspense and perhaps many like me must have move forward hoping the answer is there somewhere towards the end of your video. I perfectly understand what you say about Canada. I think it is largely due to really poor and incompetent leadership and to some extent, a lack of independence to do what is best for Canada instead of another country. Whichever country you choose, I wish you all the very best for a happy and more fulfilled future. There are many countries in the EU that are poorer then Germany (e.g., Portugal, Greece, etc). Why don't we see more migration within the EU itself in order to fill these open positions? It seems like it would be way easier to recruit from within the EU since there would be no need to apply for visas.

The country needs to spend 92.5 billion dollars to solve the housing crisis in Toronto. That would build 250,000 homes. Spread the cost over 5 years, build around Barrie, Georgina, Beaverton, and Uxbridge. Spend another 90 billion on railways to those areas. Hire 50/50 local to immigrant worker.
