Cost of living are rising everywhere , in my country in Europe as well. So if your life in you country of origin is not so hard for tou to neccesarely have to leave, you better stay.

They have a right to stay in their own land in their own homes in their own country. Why would they abdicate. It is surrender to a foreign power. Do Americans think Africa should take back African Americans if we decide we want to get rid of them and confiscate their property?

Dont bother coming to Canada, its freezing for 6 months, and getting a job is virtually impossible, its very expensive to live and the taxes are more than 50%. Stay away. Lots of people come here and stay here long enough to get the citizenship and passport, then leave. They now have a useful passport to use in other countries.

Lot of educated Indians with degrees go to Canada only to do unskilled low wage jobs. They pay heavy taxes and rent and can't afford food. Living a paycheck to paycheck life. And USA is no better. They have strict anti immigration laws now. So i suggest you educated Indians to stay in India do the kind of jobd that fits your qualifications. And pay your income tax correctly. You know only 2% of Indians pay their income taxes. Tax evasion is preventing the development of India. If you love your country don't do that. Because you ain't cheating your govt but cheating your country and ultimately cheating yourself

Because the government publishes documents for other countries giving information about a Canada that no longer exists. I feel for palestinians, but I don't think any country are willing to accept them as refugees because I heard they are a national security risk due to their crime rate in foreign countries. So therefore palestinians will stay in their own country.

I am a Brazilian who lived in 2 different countries in Europe and of course in Brazil, and I share the same feeling as this guy once I lived in Toronto for 12 months and could not stay any longer. Canada self sells itself very well, but once you are inside it is not worthy. It only fits those that are very consimists. Just for those who think that happiness can be purchased.

The reporter and anyone with common sense would not support those that causes mass immigration around the world. A lot of these are rich country problems. Which is why we get such a huge number of immigrants from developing countries. Ans almost none from developing ones. Only about 10,000 a year from the USA compared to over 300,000 a year from developing ones. But while I returned to Canada before I retired to care for my elderly mother, I had been approved for a green card in the USA. I lived in LA for 10 years. But my very low out of pocket cost of medical care still makes Canada attractive to me. \n\nBut my kid who was 13 when I moved to the USA, stayed there when I returned to Canada. They have had a green card for 11 years and is soon to become a US citizen. They and their spouse would like to move to Canada but simply cannot make anything like a similar net income in Canada. \n\nBut the housing crisis here is very real for many people.

Ah it is almost the same in my country, the Netherlands. Extremely wealthy, lot of immigrants to but we have a real reason to complain: we do not have the space Canada does have......let 's say a major difference? ? Anyway I will go to Canada just for vacation, hiking and travelling around ( I think will be Alberta or BC ) and put some of my well earned money in your economy. 95 percent of the immigrants we bring in dont have experience building homes and the ones that can build homes stay in their countries because they get paid alright. Canada isnt a great place anymore, very very very unaffordable.

I came to Canada over 20 years ago. My own thoughts are that Vancouver is a place where people tend to immigrate and often stay in their own ethnic groups. Particularly Chinese and HK people. I live in a part of Vancouver that is now almost all Chinese and HK people and they mostly don't speak English, and I don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin except for a few words, so we'll never know anything about each other. So, you write off ever knowing your neighbors'. Also the people born in Canada or who came here as small children and went through school together, particularly high school tend to have friend groups that are exclusive to them and it's hard to get past that you aren't one of the 'original' group members. Also, it's dark and rainy here for a good 5 months of the year and there is absolutely nothing going on outside that you can just casually go and do. There's skiing and things, but if you are from a country that has busy street life and street food and night markets, here is the opposite.. go outside in December in the dark and rain and see almost nobody and if you do they probably will just look at the floor. My friends are mostly other immigrants, and that's cool! But for me Canada has been a success financially and a bust socially. I'm fortunate that I bought my house 15 years ago, but if I had to pay the ridiculous rent that people have to pay, on top of the boring social life here I'd be gone from here !
