No, Canada doesn’t need more people. Our healthcare system is overwhelmed as is, with many ERs closing on a regular basis. Stop pushing the WEF and UNs agenda. Canadians first!

Right now, we need fewer immigrants, not more. It is irresponsible to be opening the floodgates to immigration when we do not have enough affordable housing for them to live in. Where are they going to live? Under the current system, we have more new Canadians bidding up the prices on a limited supply of housing. To say that increased immigration will build MORE houses is just not true. Since 2000, Canada has brought in 5 956 963 immigrants; (Source Statista). During that same period that we brought in almost 6 million new immigrants, Canada’s housing situation has deteriorated to the point so that people are unable to find affordable housing. Forty-year old’s are living in their parents basements because they cannot afford a house or rent an apartment. If 6 million new Canadians only makes housing worse, what will opening the flood gates do? No, we need to fix our problems at home. Ensure that there is enough housing for people to move into before bringing them into Canada.

The problem is apparently the lack of people in Canada having kids. Some are trying, but unable (infertile for whatever reason), while others don't want children for various reasons, including the cost to raise them. So the government is resorting to ever increasing numbers of immigration to supply the economy with workers. This has been going on for quite a long time, though the numbers have increased dramatically in recent years. I wonder if the government has statistics on the success rate of those they bring into the country? And others have posted here the question of being able to deliver the services all these new comers will need. It's a valid concern.

New immigrants are what drives the economy with whatever money they bring here and spend buying cars, furniture, basic necessities and if possible houses or condos. Canada has a declining birth rate. What jobs is this guy talking about? Do a job search. There is no manufacturing in Canada. If any are kept in North America will go to Mexico. White people blame China where people are willing to work hard for less and no union formation or complaints. He does not mention the fees visa students pay which is 5 times Canadian Students pay at university or college is used to offset Canadian students so they pay low tuition fees. Knowing the real reason Canada needs visa and immigrants and how much money it generates just by the application fee, immigrants and visa students don't owe Canada nothing and other countries should adopt the same strategy to attract immigrants. Unfortunately the majority of Canadians are English, Scottish, and Irish which are racist blaming Canada's economic and job problems on immigrants. The majority think they are entitled and ignorant and arrogant. That's why they are called mange cake and Malakas and other names by immigrant groups. That is why you have China towns, Greek towns, Italian, Portuguese, INDIA , Jewish and other ethnic towns and ethnic communities don't visit small white towns or move to other provinces. Canada clean up your problem.

Why? That's 5 million people every decade. Canada needs an immigration pause, to allow it to properly deal with the huge amount of immigration in the past 25 years. This only benefits the builders, the banks, the realtors etc., not the average Canadian. At this rate Ontario will start to look like Greater London, or Tokyo or some other metropolis - just a deeply dysfunctional one with crappy public transport. We didn't vote to lose the Canada that we love, and Trudeau doesn't have a mandate to destroy it. We can also kiss goodbye to our greenhouse gas emission targets with such a growth in population.

As a Canadian living in Japan it’s so obvious to see what a very very wrong policy looks like as Japan gets poorer and poorer and it’s pension slowly but surely erodes. You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

Shame of the Canadian gouverment. Its gonna be another dark part of canadian history. Make a change to be the change now, so we dont have to be part of another shameful past. Greed doesn't work well with education. Alot of aid going out of Canada to help those in need. But there is so many people on and in canada that needs that help, and our population isnt that crazy. From residential schools to exploiting international students creating these multibillion colleges who lure students to Canada and exploiting them financially and mentally. At a time when Internet was at its infancy and not available to all, I had researched, applied (snail mail), and came to Canada in 1995 as a foreign student and attended a public college for 3+ years, including co-op. This was 27 years ago and it surprises me that with the wealth of information at our disposal today, there are folks who are still being taken for a ride. People need to smarten up, but often times, I find that it’s the shortcut attitude of many which allows a system like this to exists. I feel sad for these students and their parents, but if you truly want to have a full-fledged Uni / College experience in Canada, then stay away from these for-profit private colleges; apply to a school of repute.

The root problem isn't the greed of these schools in Canada. We need to adk why so many people, especially minorities desperately leave India in the first place. Corruption, poverty, pollution, discrimination, and nowadays Hindu fanatics. Solve these problems, and these kids don't need to escape India.

For me if you come to a small community college is not easy. Like this people who come straight with no background sometimes even small family own store may not even hire you. Nowsaday jobs in canada is need at least 6 month experience or a certification that you actually did some hands on activity completed in the course. I also agree with some comments research before you come here. Many Indian student are so eager to get a job but without at least a 6 months experience need not easy. That is why sometimes I see many student suffer but in my opinion you have to know why you come here in the first place.

the part where the one student in India is asked why he wants to go in Canada and he says he wants a white collar job and the life he dreamed of which I would imagine entails a Canadian wife as well? In other words, shouldn't Canada try to attract people to do work in building homes and things we need instead of rent seeking industries like banking, insurance etc... that doesn't improve the lives of Canadians already born here (and in some cases go generations back)

Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

I was born and raised in Canada. My family immigrated in the 70s. Medicate you instead of solving the problem. Doctors are exhausted, rude and over worked, emergency rooms are a disaster and if you book an appointment to see your doctor...be sure you're waiting at least a week. If you go to a walk in clinic you risk getting a doctor that seems like they paid for a fake degree.\n\nYou know when you go to a mall in one town and then hear about a mall in another town that has really cool different things??? Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. There needs to be more indoor things for people to do in the winter. \n\nWhoever said Canadians are polite, has never been to Alberta!!!! What I see in Canada is that lots of people have an employee mentality. Many of them make a good income, but they spend their money on stupid things, like nice cars, expensive phones, fancy restaurants, trips, etc. How can they expect to build wealth if they basically flush their hard-earned money down the toilet? It's true that housing and food are expensive in Canada, but that's basically all you need to live. The rest of your income can be used to create businesses and more income streams, but no people prefer their 9 to 5 job and watch non-sensical TV shows after that.

Check out the UK, over a million people not being able to afford heat last winter. Electricity is going to rise now in October then again in January. It is a second rent we will be paying, no joke!!! Health System is a disaster here. Our NHS is not getting the support they need to be good. Food prices is sky rocketing we see food banks coming up all over the place with long queues. I hear from others in other countries, that are going through the same thing. I don't think you are alone. The entire world is going through something right now and the people are sadly suffering in silence. It is a sad situation and very difficult. I don't think it's a Canada situation only.

I do think change can be a very good thing. But people need to realize that there’s a different set of problems in each country. It’s all about the pros and cons that you’re willing to deal with. What is the lesser evil to you? Otherwise, no country is really a perfect match for your beliefs and values about how you should be treated. I personally would rather live in Jamaica, but even Jamaica doesn’t have everything in it that I would like. But I need to deal with that and settle. I live in Canada right now. Other than that, I could live in Canada the rest of my life, as long as I get out of Quebec.

Yes the racism is very high here. \nMany people come here for a better life but that is very hard to find now days in Canada. Governments here, on every level have let Canadians down . They stopped investing in affordable housing. They haven’t provide enough placement for education of medical staff over decades and now we don’t have enough nurses and doctors. \nWe need better educated voters but of course they don’t put enough money into education. I think the gloomy trend in Nigeria is the reason why people are seeking saner economies.\nI have not been to Canada though, but I still believe that to live In a deliberate economy is far better than to be slave in ones home. I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french. Cool place to visit but not so much to live in.

Canada's Cost of living is Joke compares to here in Sri lanka an Average Srilankan Salary is 200$ per month but 1 liter petrol cost more than 1$ imagine how hard it is live here in Sri lanka not only that we import 90% things foreign Countries so Food,Electronics, etc are unimaginably Expensive for example our Government is adding 300% Tax for Vehicles .even though I'm earning 6000$ per month its still not enough for my needs I have to pay like 60000$ to get Canadian Visa But I don't wanna disrespected by some Racist scumbags I'll do anything against people who disrespected me untill they say sorry to me because to me Respect is Everything in My country we Respect Every one we still have Scumbag Human being they are like less than 1% . your Information is very useful for me I'll never come to Canada I was ready to get the Canadian Visa thank you for saving me

The truth is that if Nigeria doesn’t get better, even the few that said they will return back home will never return. Cos if you plan to come back in your old age, have you forgotten that old age is a time when you desperately need good health care to ensure you live a healthy life? who will provide that good health care if you are in Nigeria? So I tell you people, if this country Nigeria don’t do better, no one will be returning. (Recently got laid off from my career job, they said I didn't have enough experience to work there). My friends who aren't single and live with their partner, have an easier time living here compared to people who are single & living by themselves. \n\nNight life is boring here. However, daytime life specially in the summer is better. I feel like Canada is more for an outdoor person. Depending where you live, there are beaches, mountains, trails, & lakes to explore. Some parts of Canada even look tropical! We have hot springs here as well!\n\nFor the leisure & work life balance, I feel like that depends on the person. I used to work 2 jobs (not because I was bored or needed the money at the time), I just wanted to save more money & help my friend out with his business. I felt like I had good balance of work & leisure. I hanged out with my friends on Friday & Saturdays then I had my 'me' days on Sundays.\n\nIf you are going to move here, do your research, also I don't think people consider their countries dollar into the equation, what I mean is, if you want to convert your money to Canadian... you might have less money then you have. Example, at this moment, 1 Mexican Peso is 0.066 Canadian dollars, therefor people coming from Mexico might have a hard time afford things in Canada compared to a person who is moving from USA. (1 USA Dollar = 1.31 Canadian Dollar).\n\n\nO btw, I love both you hair!!~

Hey. It all about choice. So let’s get it straight. The people who worked hard to build and develop Canada over the last 200 Years and paid their taxes, that’s ok. You however, feel you shouldn’t have to pay your way like Canadians. If you love your Country and the lifestyle, why did you leave it? No one twisted your arm to leave your fantastic Country and and move to this awful nasty boring and expensive Country with such uninteresting people unfriendly people. Gee, perhaps Canadians should move to your Country and not need to work, no medical expenses, no tax, and everything free. No need to work, Fantastic! What country are you people from? Hey, move to the USA by all means please and take your friends with you, so you will be one big happy group. Gee the Americans shall welcome you with open arms. As the saying goes, if you don’t appreciate what Canada has given you, that fine, just leave ASAP and be happy wherever you want to go! Actually, I have never heard such garbage from two thankless persons in my life. Again it’s a case of the minority spoiling it for the many Immigrants from all over the world who LOVE CANADA AND APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY CANADA HAS GIVEN THEM. They worked hard to build a life for themselves and their Family. Many of them became wealthy financially and in a personal sense and never expected the Government or anyone to give them a free hand. These people make Canada what it is in spite of people like you. So, leave now and make room for someone else who what’s the opportunity to live in Canada and shall appreciate it. Ho by the way, just remember to leave your Passport here and renounce your Canadian Citizenship, which you obviously do not respect or value. We Canadians shall wish you every success wherever you decide to live. I promise you that I shall never move to your Country and expect a free cup of coffee, never mind a free lunch. Welcome to Canada first if all. Why do people choose to leave their own homeland, then complain once they move to their chosen location? Canada has wonderful opportunities for anyone coming here, but if you think it’s a bed of roses, your dead wrong. Do your homework , research, decide what’s best for you. Live here for a few years , decide then. If it’s got you, move on, move out, your choice. But like any country there are good as well as bad. You can live a good life in Canada. So sorry we have cold winters that make us have the need to import many items and drive up the need to live here. So sorry you came and don’t enjoy the lifestyle here. One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

I listened to your chat. I did not appreciate some of your reasons for why people leave Canada. First of all life is what you make it. There are lots of things to do if you are interested in being active. Canada is a very beautiful country and there are lots of places to visit and enjoy. \nYou need to educate yourself about what people are paid in the US and Canada. The minimum wage is a lot higher in Canada. I suggest that you leave Canada and then you will appreciate what a wonderful country we live in. Go to Trinidad for example and buy groceries ...pay over a thousand dollars a week for food, then tell me that food is too expensive in Canada. (25.00 for a box of cereal)!Go to a hospital there and you will wait for a whole day just to be seen. Yes, we have a shortage of medical doctors and nurses here, but they are trying to fix that. Sure we pay taxes, but if you or someone in your family needs a heart transplant, a knee replacement or whatever, you will get it FREE in the hospital, and while you are in the hospital, your bed will have sheets and pillow cases. Drive your car on the roads in Trinidad and the potholes will ruin your tires, not to mention the frame of the car. Your taxes also maintains parks, roads and bridges for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. The government has no control over the weather, so complaining that it is too cold or rainy is up to mother nature. During the lockdown I am sure you received money from the government to help you, everyone did. Do you think other countries paid their people money to help them get through this crisis?? NO!\nI love Canada, it has been good to me and I never regretted emigrating here 42 years ago. I go traveling to other countries and I see how other people live and I am happy to come home. Appreciate what you have or if you are so unhappy, use the passport that you said is so powerful.

You started the video with an opinion not a fact. You can In fact gain wealth here. You have access to RRSPs and tax Free Savings accounts to help with Taxea for people earning over 6 figures. No one has tries to take your money, the policies are clear as day. You also have access to the Canadian stock market where they will allow you to keep 50% of your excess and tax the other 50%. Your statement needs way more context and a broader discussion. Stil love the video but we need to state all the facts. Also the mentality of me paying taxes and taking care of people is what causes my home country on Jamaica to be in trouble. Your little tax money ain't taking care of anyone. There are over 23 million people here trust me we are giving cents to initiatives in Canada. Quality of life, Security, Health Care, Children Support, Old Age Pension, access to great jobs if you are will to put in the work and start over. Again we can't come here and expect to just fall in. You just joined a line of thousands of people in your career field who have been fighting to get great job opportunities. You have to fight and you will be okay.
