They should stop giving citizenship for expats .. student visa work permit and PR is okay... Let the locals french guys remain there as citizens ....the Russian royals who migrated there years ago and other french ppl should be citizen.

Oh, I always wanted to visit Canada and go to New York, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Why should I bother getting a travel visa when I can just walk in and stay as long as I need, why should anyone for that matter?! ??? Your setting a precedent America! You are telling the whole world how your borders should be treated, you are telling foreigners like myself that being in the USA without a visa is not a serious federal crime, these people aren't scared of your government, that's the message you are sending the world.

It's called a temporary visa ...not a permanent live in Canada visa ... Canadians are suffering as it is we don't need more people to make matters worse .

Canadians are homeless, jobless and struggling to survive. Years of overpopulation by our currant government has resulted in Canadians becoming second class citizens in their own country. Stop ALL temporary visas, be it for students, workers, etc until Canadians can once again stand on their own two feet. I dont care where all these temporary people come from but it needs to stop. Already universities are complaining of losing business but who cares. Where are universities when Canadians are sleeping in boxes on the ground. Stop it all for a period of 2-5 years. Our homes which should be used by young couples to raise children and build communities are being occupied by up to 10 at least young international students and the communities are being eroded.

There are over 1,000,000 Indians here in America who came here on a tourist or student visa who never went back home once their visa expired. They are living here illegally. Thousands of Indians are flooding across our Southern border into the U.S. They then claim they are persecuted back home in the world’s biggest democracy and apply for political asylum. This is all very dishonest! Indians are coming here for economic reasons. And they have no interest in our American way of life here of freedom and equality. Proof of this is that we are having to pass new laws to prevent Indians from discriminating against their own fellow Indians! Higher caste Indians here are discriminating against the Dalits or so called ‘Untouchables’ who are also here. \n\nStay home! Make India a better place instead of flocking over to the USA and bringing all of your bad habits over here with you! Over 700,000,000 Indians don’t even have access to a toilet! I’ve been to India many times so I know all about the real India! Remain there in India and tackle this huge problem. Demand your government stop spending $Billions on new aircraft carriers and other military equipment and build new toilets for your own citizens instead so women and girls feel safe when they need to relieve themselves and so India won’t be so filthy and smelly! Open defacation is very unsanitary! Unhealthy!

Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. I applied for a visitor visa for my in-laws over 2 years ago no decision made. I see Indians have no problem to get a visa whatever the category, my mind is boggled.

IMO international students have said to visa interviewing officers that they will return to their country after education is over. Permitted job hours was known before they paid their education fees. I am Indian living legally in US and I would not support illegal protests from anyone who are not permanent residents or Citizens of that country. Canadian citizens have every right to express their discomfort with the international students when they behave in unlawful ways. In 2023, nearly 319,000 Indian students moved to Canada - this is a big figure only for studies.

What happened here, Wealth transferred from you to the Visa agent in the India, LMIA business owner gained wealth from you for providing a work permit, You worked hard at minimum wage jobs, who gained employer got a minimum worker, gov't got Taxes, In the end of the day, India or Canada, you lost your wealth, in false hopes and dreams. Canada has, for the past few years, just welcomed the Labour class, people with no skills and no basic civic sense. People who can't even survive in their own country without any help, and just because they are academically qualified (by the way, people also qualify themselves using fake degrees), they get the visa. When you go to ANY COUNTRY on a visa be prepared to for visa related changes (even if you plan to settle n takeup citizenship). No country is OBLIGATED to give PR/ citizenship to visa holders. The government n citizens have the right to change policies to keep their own intrests in mind.

In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

As a banker I know that Canadian govt has already issued a law that tourist or temporary visa holders can’t buy house in cities (exception is resort communities only). It not anti indian policy.. international student are not all indian .. there is other country citizen that are also not allow to get work permit as well . let not play the race card now.. indian act like you are alway are special.. when apply for your student visa there were term and condition.. and one of the term is that once your visa expires you must LEAVE the county.
