Please is it compulsory to work for the 5 years of VISA before u can switch to another job ?

What I hate about being Canadian is being accused of being racist when I complain about millions of immigrants coming in and causing a housing and job crisis. I have no problems with the individuals themselves I have a problem with the government letting so many people come into the country

This shit is ridiculous, I’ve seen it in real time 90 min outside of Toronto, living in a quiet city as 5 years ago. Now there are traffic jams from 2 pm until 7 pm in the city, and endless traffic when driving 30 km in any direction on the highways. A few weeks ago it took me 5 hours to drive 75 miles. Every single gig economy job is bursting at the seems with people who are useless for any other kinds of work. The scariest thing is no one is going to have the balls to send people back to where they came from. Especially the conservative party. They will bend over faster than a one legged whore when it comes time to do their overlords biddings.

They should be sent back. No more jobs for real citizens. This is worrisome.

Sounds like they studying victimhood 101 in school... in 10 years the low skill service jobs they all work wont even exist. They gotta packup and get the fuck home once they graduate.

Yes I am going to leave Canada after 26 years, Canada was better before but now it is going expensive for everything from accommodation, taxes, foods traveling and Job ( not easy at all)

Don’t come to New Zealand we can’t even house our own citizens here , rents are high and houses are few to rent , but we do need Teachers, Nurses , Police personnel and Doctors and qualified people will get jobs

Nonsense, there are millions in the pipe . Except for some doctors, PhDs and engineers who don't want to sacrifice their jobs in their countries and deliver pizza in Canada, I've never seen anyone want to leave Canada.

Every country that pushes growth with mass immigration is doomed to fail. Ai will kill 1.6 billion jobs in the next 3 years its already hitting Banking Warehousing Administration and Retail Shopping. Mass immigration also lowers wages for the majority and raises rents and property prices killing peoples ambition and desire to work hard. Sweden is now a death zone France is on the verge of revolution and the UK is now an utter basket case. The wealthy are getting out of all the wests countries as mass immigration is a net loss with high crime rates and declining services. The countries that will be successful in this age of Ai will be those with small highly educated populations and none of those are in the west.

Since these jmmigrants are taking over low skilled jobs, virtually nothing is left over for high school and college kids. I personally took 2 years to find even a minimum wage job, and that was only due to a connection.

Send all the illegal immigrants back where they came from. Those that want to stay need to apply for legal immigration, must be properly vetted, pledge allegiance to Canada, become Canadian, leaving hatred from their previous country behind, and cannot stay here while they wait. A moratorium on all new applications for at least 10 years. This way the back log of legal immigrants can be dealt with. Stop all new international students, put a moratorium on it for at least 10 years, stop all temporary and permanent workers. All loopholes used to illegally get into the county must be stopped. This will reduce the cost of illegal immigration and solve a large portion of the lack of housing. No more government subsidies to pay for foreign workers. This will open up entry level jobs for young Canadians. No more government subsidies for anything for immigrants. If they need government support then no, you are then disqualified from coming. No more abuse of our Canadian social programs.

This is not totally an Indian issue. The government lied to them and scam them working with school for profit and putting them into debts. They let too many people and crash the housing economy and job economy. All for votes they thought they could get from these people. The real Canadians are suffering and left behind. I’m from Quebec, the Indian immigration isn’t as overwhelming here. We’re pretty strict with the French language, I guess that’s the main reason why. Without French, one can hardly work as anything else than a dishwasher or cleaner.\n\nThere are high paying jobs in tech and other industries that will hire you even if you only speak English but you need to be qualified, obviously.
