Well as for my experience, I don't even think the education system of this so called developed countries is that great. Like take for my example, I am currently undertaking MSc Biotechnology degree from University of Glasgow in UK, which is considered to be under Top 100 universities in the world by many ranking agency. My academic experience in this university was not at all good, the theoretical lectures were pretty average, the laboratory work was very repetitive, just doing the same thing over and over again, they didn't even teach us how to operate even one complex instrument, it feels like we are a cash cow for this big universities. I highly suggest if anyone is thinking of pursuing a bachelors or master's degree from such countries don't do it. Save your money. Yes, but if you are planning to pursue a PhD then you are most welcome, but only do PhD when you've had a fully funded scholarship+ stipend.

Late to the party, but love the tap water thing. I live in Toronto, and work with a lot of folks who came from other places, and they won't drink the tap water! It's ALL I drink. The only time I buy a bottle of water is when I'm walking in the city and run out of the bottles I've filled at home from the tap! Bottled water tastes kinda weird to me, at least, the cheaper brands do lol

Had Canadian friends (couple) who lived in Long Beach and he worked in Torrence as an engineer. They took me on drives around LA and the county here and there before they had kids and yeah, the freeways were pretty incredible. It was like going to another time zone to visit LACMA lol. But I really loved those drives and we went along Mulholland! And also to the Getty! Venice Beach long before the tents and I loved it! My Canadian friend learned to drive in Long Beach at a driving school so she could attend college in Pasadena and she's now one of the best drivers I've ever been with because she learned in the LA area. Most Canadian drivers are pretty bad lol (eg here = Alberta). I also liked LB at the time, they lived close to the downtown and LB was not the glitzy BS of LA just regular people. I remember my visit to Toronto and feeling like something was lacking. It had no “identity” or “soul”. I’ve lived in pretty slow paced countries like in NZ yet Toronto felt weird. The problem might be that it’s too diverse with different cultures, in turn losing its Canadian identity.

The only people to blame for this is the immigration dept. I have many friends who have gone to Canada and some of them were living in Brampton also for some time, but everyone left, they all say that Brampton is just a rowdy place and does not seem like you are in a developed country coz of the ruckus the Punjabi people make their and most of the educated people going from India to Canada wants to avoid Brampton.

The ratio of men to women is also insane. I have noticed there is way more uneducated men coming in and a lot of them are not culturally accustomed to Canada when it comes to how to behave. The amount of times I’ve seen them in groups hanging around the playgrounds or joking about kidnapping / r@pe, following women, its crazy. Or even posting ads for rooms to rent but as a male requesting only females. \n\nWe are moving out of a city we love because they are driving up rent prices and taking jobs. \n\nI’m not against immigrants or different cultures being here but there needs to be some sort of better application process and smaller number of them coming in at a time.

How about our health care (OHIP). Never having to worry about purchasing health insurance in case something happens. I’ve heard some horror stories about families go bankrupt due to a family getting cancer or some other serious health issues. We take it for granted here that we don’t even think about it. Also I second that as a Canadian I really love and enjoy American people. Anytime I visit USA I feel so welcomed, they are always so kind, joyful, generous and hospitable. I’ve never voted federally because I didn’t believe in any of the candidates of political parties. (I usually just vote provincial). But this will be my first federal election because I am so tired of him. Even his own wife is tired of him. Canada wants to divorce Trudeau.

Every country has a positive side and a negative side. I understand that you are exploring the dark side of Canada in this video. However many of your points lack logic. The first point is not hypocrisy as every country makes/modifies its policies keeping in mind what is good for that country, so that is not hypocrisy. We are making a conscious choice when we are planning to study in Canada, Canada doesn't guarantee anyone PR or anything else, you just become eligible but that doesn't make you demand for it.... There are many basic logical points you have missed....
