Immigration is the primary political issue I've been concerned with since the mid-90's because I knew back then this is exactly where we would end up; a divided, hate filled society with no cohesion. If you're destroying your country with the importation of incompatible people then every other consideration becomes irrelevant.

Indians hire Indians, Indians work with Indians. Connection is important so no job for white.

As an immigrant to Canada myself, I have to state the obvious, the problem isn't about immigration, per se, as it is about the lack of discernment. Not all cultures are the same. Canada can and should give preference to immigrants from other democratic countries. When you import the third world, you import its problems. It's commendable to try to save everybody, endless respect, but your citizens have to come first. Canada can't save the third world by becoming a part of it.

Time to wake up Canadians. Our most important election in our history coming up here. Time to save this sinking.

Controled and properly veted immigration is important to any country. Irresponsible open border policies are harmful to the fabric of the nation. Accept immigrants on our terms, not theirs.

We native-born Canadians are becoming uneasy and restive with this immigration situation, but if we voice concerns we're labelled as racist, bigoted or intolerant. when a country need to import hundreds of thousands of immigrants each year just to keep the lights on, this in my opinion represents a fundamental problem with the country itself.

Highly skilled immigrants from India are always welcome anywhere, like in the US where they have added tlmutiple times to the economy. Canada, unfortunately, is importing from Punjab ,low skilled labour that eats into Candian quality of life. These youth from Punjab can't integrate and is a burden to the economy, as they rake up zero value adding jobs. Truck driving and RE realtor don't add any value to the economy. There's a reason why the Canadian military it's ridiculously slow on recruitment. Especially immigrants who's not citizenship. Background check it's very important. The last thing Canada needs its spies in their own military bases.

As a Canadian who can trace is lineage to the early Saskatchewan settlers, many of the negatives experienced by immigrants are also experienced by those born here. \n\nIt’s ALWAYS been insanely difficult to find a well paid job here. Unless you know someone inside the organization who can pull you in, you’ll have an uphill battle. In order to make a respectable living, you usually have to travel to the north. \n\nIt’s the land of zero opportunities. \n\nJust think, the weather in southern BC is as good as it gets, and it’s all downhill from there.\n\nCanada is completely unrecognizable after all these years with Trudeau at the helm.\n\nAmericans are far friendlier and more hospitable than Canadians. \n\nYou live like a pauper in Canada, but live like a prince on the equivalent wage in the US.\n\nI drove across Canada two years ago, and was absolutely horrified by the dismal state of the nation. Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.

Lets not forget boomers are complicit in this. They reaped all benifits of living in a thriving homogenous country with good wages. They were able to purchase homes, have families and make a living wage. Now they expect younger generations to pay for them in retirement. We have paided for all of their excesses. Now not native canadians will be able afford any of those things because they are importing people to prop up pensions and benifits for boomers with foreigners who will never assimilate and do not respect canadian culture.

It should have been the owner of the trucking firm as well. Mr Sidhu would likely never commit another crime but this is needed as deterrent for others and it is important that the money-grubbing owners of the firms buckle up on training and rules.

Dude explained how most of the cost increase is a seed being sowed for decades already, yet tacitly only showing trudeau’s footage and using contemporary phrases like “current” government… u’re low key condemning trudeau for all of it. While it is tru that the trudeau government hasnt done what it can to stop this and is a pretty bad government, it is important to give “credits” to exactly where it is due.

I also saw a country that is far from being better on the important topics for living a life. People want to immigrate go to countries where they can. In Denmark immigrants are not wanted, but is a more balanced country on most topics to live in if you want better. ???
