YES, because Canadians as a whole are complaisant, want to avoid conflict, even when necessary; and ALL politicians, in all provinces and in all parties, want to please their voters!

Not just Brampton but they’re even starting to invade all the small towns everywhere. I’m planning on leaving Canada in a few years if this is how it’s going to become. Pay insane taxes just so our politicians can spend it on other countries and people instead of their own citizens. What a disgrace Canada was an amazing place to grow up in the 90’s and early 2000s but it’s gone downhill very fast.

I didn’t trust him from the first time I heard him speak, full of promises to make life better while legalizing weed, hearing some women say that he has nice hair, I think there are more important qualities of a politician than their appearance.

Deport them ASAP otherwise they will start demanding Khalistan in Canada thanks to our power hungry politicians who are ready to sell their motherland to create vote bank. Enough is Enough . Canadians to stand up and protest and demand a better life than they have been subjected to because of the govetnments' irrational steps.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

unreal... politicians ruin all western countries
2024-05-14 0
Because the federal government of both parties screwed up in their immigration policies, soon you people of European background, I mean white people soon you'll be governed by Asians.... i'ld say 50 years or less from now ,because your politicians are trying to please everyone the wrong people out there, so sad!!!

High treason by our politician's
2024-05-14 0
Do I blame them ???? I blame our politicians they do things without thinking. Trudeau nailed his own feet ??????

@True North\nHonest fact: Canada is too generous and fair country. Many people of different backgrounds have exploited our countries relaxed policies, and our politicians have remained oblivious to these facts. \n\nSome of these students claim false refugee status/claims and other pretend to be students, only to expedite and circumvent the regular PR application process. Our country is great, but quality has deteriorated during current leadership. \n\nAll these students should go back home and then apply for WP or PR from home country, as the guidelines use to be. There should be limitation/cap on number of applications of students/ PR from particular country.\n\nAustralia has banned international students' from Indian states: Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat and Jammu and Kashmir over alleged submission of fraudulent documents and high rate of dropouts. Most of these students make up the majority that are seen on streets protesting now. \n\nOur policy target is to import 1.5 million immigrants in 2 years. Based on survey 25 % are Indians that 375,000 additional Indian nationals over 2 years. If cap is not placed, Canada will lose it diversity. We do need Quality over Quantity.

To your question: Depends on who's buying these politicians off?

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

We're living in a FAKE democracy. The OWNERS own this land and the politicians we vote for. We're only here until they push us out of their land. \nIndians are cheaper, so the owners will replace white people with them.
2024-05-14 0
Of course they will be given it, our politicians are cowards
2024-05-14 0
Like every administration in the US, people who've overstayed their permits or came in illegally, they grant them amnesty every time, without fail. Feckless and useless politicians.
2024-05-14 0
Polievre is just another Greasy Professional Politician.\nHe is a closet WEFer.

Housing crisis is the biggest problem in all western nations. It has 2 major reasons:\n1. no one becomes a construction worker anymore and energy/supplies are extremely expensive 2. real estate is an investment for most rich people\n\nEspecially the second one can be easily tackled by politicians. Could be…
2024-05-14 0
The ONLY politician who has been against mass immigration and against this international student sham 8s Max Bernier. Not PP, not the CPC, it's Max and the PPC
2024-05-14 0
they have No right to demand anything. Canadian citizens First!\n these rich liberal politicians are insulated by their lavish taxpayer funded salaries, they care nothing for the Canadian Citizens.
2024-05-14 0
Pierre is a globalist politician he doesn't care what country his votes come from. That's an issue with much of the CPC.
2024-05-14 0
What a clown world we live in, what's it.going to take for our politicians to wake up? They just allow the scam to continue
2024-05-13 0
They should go back and protest in an india.they are just trying to an influence politicians and immigrants department by protesting here nothing else.
2024-05-13 0
They have learned this since 700 indian international suppose to get deported and many politicians have interfere in an immigration matter and stopped their deportation.
2024-05-13 0
Way way way too many foreigners moving there, outrageous foreign investment in residential properties, and a brain dead electorate who constantly votes in the same garbage over and over again. no true protection for personal rights and freedoms, no ability to recall bad politicians. Limited ability to pass on the Canadian culture to a new generation, just way way too many foreigners. Worst immigration strategy in the modern world.
2024-05-13 0
Canada is in a total mess , so many immigrants that Canada doesn’t have the appetite to handle, no place to live, no job at all. What is the point of bringing again and again, shame on you all politicians. ?
2024-05-13 0
Deport the liars. Our government is bending to foreigners who. Should.have no power over them. Our politicians are weak and have no backbone.
2024-05-13 0
All politicians are bad news one way or another
2024-05-13 0
THEY KNOW THE GOVERNMENT IS A WIMP , JUST DEPORT THEM ASAP AND NO NEGOTIATIONS AND EXTENSIONS! IT IS NO FAIR FOR IMMIGRANTS WHO FOLLOW RULES AND REGULATIONS TO COME HERE … THIS ARE LAZY I…S TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM PROMULGATED BY FUCKING STUPID POLITICIANS!
2024-05-13 0
Can you force a nation to accept you? Are these students for real? Well when we have dumb politicians running immigration policies to destroy Canada then everything is possible.
2024-05-13 0
Nope, but sadly with this NDP/Liberal Government, they just might. They are International Students, that is it, do your studies and then go Home. If you want to Immigrate then follow the normal path already set. I know Max Bernie of the PPC would send them back. They were against mass immigration. Why is Pierre Poilivera wearing that hat? Why do Politicians dress up in other cultures' garb?
2024-05-13 0
Get them out of here and take the corrupt politicians with them
2024-05-13 0
Of course the students will allowed to stay in Canada....the politicians in this country are weak...since when should a student from another country demand to stay here just because they studied here....I don't believe there were any promises made when they came here that they would automatically be made Canadian citizens.
2024-05-13 0
They can all go home. If we went to their country we would have to abide by their laws and they do nothing but challenge our laws. Why do they feel they can change our laws to the laws that they left in their home countries. And get those politicians to get Sharia law OUT of Canada.
2024-05-13 0
These power hungry politicians have already converted this great country in to a fourth world country. If the government bends the rules and bow to the demands of these international students, soon there will be a demand for the formation of Khalistan within the territories of Canads.
2024-05-13 0
I wish our politicians would have a spine and stop these fake student visa's.
2024-05-13 0
Corrupt Politicians
2024-05-13 0
They are here because Tim Hortons and hundreds of similar service sector companies constantly go to the politicians and claims there is a labour shortage. They are undercutting Canadians plain and simple and the politicians will not stand up to these companies. Of course a right wing website will never frame it that way.
2024-05-13 0
This is not these students fault - they came LEGALLY... they have been gouged by agents, they have been gouged by universities, they have been used as cheap labor.... blame the politicians and corporations behind them 100%... I have no problem with LEGAL immigration, ILLEGALS is where the problems begin and with DUMB policies.
2024-05-13 0
He'll make a good politician, nicely deflected.
2024-05-13 0
Of course they will. Politicians, for the most part, are weak and feckless.
2024-05-13 0
The solution is simple...Stop Electing Spineless Politicians!\nUntil every Canadian gets involved and starts electing their own riding grassroots candidate, this will never change and we will have lost our country.\nIt is almost gone now!\nIs it too late?
2024-05-13 0
Well, why did Canada sell dreams, when it clearly knew that giving permanent residency was not possible for everyone? Candian politicians are to blame, closely followed by the universities and colleges, who sold education with the promise of PR.
2024-05-13 2
Politicians have no balls
2024-05-13 4
We do have a politician who has openly opposed mass immigration in Canada, his name is Maxime Bernier.\nSadly, True North has carried water for the CPC in maligning him.
2024-05-13 0
Mass Migration is killing fucking Canada ridiculous spineless Politicians we have unbelievable the West is so fucking done smfh .
2024-05-13 0
The politicians who put this in place are the ones that we need to hold accountable. There's no way that this amount of people coming is not deliberate.\nWe are LIED to about the number of people coming, there's no housing for the people that live here.
2024-05-13 0
Just like here in Canada, a Canadian Politician by the name of Sarah Jama was asked to leave because she was wearing the Keffiyeh on her head. I’m glad she got kicked out. Religious clothing has no place inside ANY Government building in Canada.
2024-05-12 0
Shattered absolutely. Country has zero future right now. It is merely a question of how long can the politicians and their billionaire friends work the slaves until they all die. People wonder how the Mayan culture disappeared. Archeological evidence shows the workers were exploited to literally death and the society collapsed. Same story here.
2024-05-12 0
You wanna know the real problem? It's wealthy old people and wealthy companies. No politician beats those two. They vote and have the controlling $.
2024-05-11 0
Immigration from 3rd world countries will turn Western countries into 3rd world countries. Woke lefty politicians causing this.
