After nearly 13 years as of Jan 1st 2022, I'll be leaving Canada on a one-way ticket; not to my country of origin, but further into new ventures.\n\nIt's been a slog to become a citizen and try and make life work here. It's a good place to be successful financially if you make sound choices, and then to live a fairly quiet, isolated life. If all you want is to live within your own ethnic community and have a better quality of life, it's a good place.\n\nUnfortunately, it's never had enough culture or meaning for me. Life feels pretty empty no matter how much money you make. The national identity being based around home-ownership feels extremely depressing to me.\n\nAnd you're both on point about the reserved, passive-aggressive nature of Canadians. I've become like that too now. It's pretty obvious that it costs us dearly; people are unable to be genuinely warm, to take risks and form real friendships. Everything feels surface-level because no one risks taking the steps that might even be a bit of intrusion into each other's lives that is the signal of the start of a close friendship. I'm sick of the surface relationships I've had here.\n\nAnd the wholesale import of U.S. narratives with complete ignorance of our own realities. Most Canadians think they live in the U.S. and seem unable to name a single important issue in their own province or country. I truly came to see the Canadians as a colonized people who refuse to truly admit that they are colonized behind a thin veneer of insecurity posing as a virtue-superiority complex.\n\nI sound harsh but it's the outpouring of someone who's fallen in and out of love with his country.\n\nI don't know what I will find on the other side, but it's going to be different and I honestly can't wait.

Bro, you are doing a great thing by educating the masses. But what is your hate against consultants ? People may not be confident enough or they might do a small mistake which can cause them their PR. Its absolutely good to educate people but speaking against a profession is not cool. Also, you are making money from YT. So, why dont you demonitize your videos ?\n\nIts a request please do not speak against any profession for your benefit. Also, please be informed that there are GOOD and BAD agents in the market. Ask the people to be careful.

Thank you for your video but I completely disagree with the idea of total assimilation. No one should feel the need to totally assimilate with a different culture. If I like my culture, obviously that's what makes me happy but that doesn't mean that I don't want to assimilate. That means that I like to hold on to my own values, morals and beliefs which feel right for me. I don't want to assimilate and become a totally different person. I would feel lost if I do that. I'm fine with my own values and if I feel a huge disconnection between my values and their then of course I would move somewhere else. However, most people end up spreading out roots, family, children ect.. and that would make it almost impossible to leave so they lead a life of just survival.

All your points are very valid for the immigrant. As getting a PR is not only the basic thing. Please make your video for teachers who want to come to Canada as an immigrant. Thanks

I'm currently planning to immigrate to Canada. As for me, the very reason why I want to move there is to have better life. There are some great points mentioned to this video but for some cases, most especially if you talk about other underpriviledge countries, Canada is much more better. I'm from the Philippines and I would say that our country is suffering from everything. High price of goods, salary for CAD375 minimum (for a month even you're bachelor degree holder), no health benefits (unless you are working in a private company that offers benefits), no educational benefits (I would consider scholarship but that wouldn't enough to survive in every semester that you'll take). Senior Citizens / PWD that only gets benefit from their 20% discount in every purchase they make for medicine and food and seniors sometimes didn't get their pensions... so on and so forth.\n\nI think, it all boils down from what country you came from and differences of the gov't system that they have. And all of us needs to work hard to get a better life. It will always depends on our decision on what lifestyle do you choose or how do you live your life or what life do you want to live.\n\nBut to conclude this, this is a great video. This a great heads up for those who wants to come to Canada.

Great video! I would like to share my personal experience so far: I came to Toronto in 2020 for a 2-year college program, met great friends that became family (flew back to my home country during the pandemic, graduated, and came back 3 months ago) and applied for my PGWP. However, I am planning on moving back home next year. Canada is a vast country, with friendly people in its majority, a rigorous taxation system, but what makes me mad is that some Youtubers portray that PR is the ultimate goal (which is not always granted) and even promote this toxic attitude that if you don't aspire to PR then you are wasting your time. Immigration is not for everyone, sometimes I think to myself if I should've invested that college money ($8k per semester) to buy a piece of land that over time will be more profitable. It leaves me with a bittersweet taste, but I will be forever thankful to Canada for the friendships that I made here and the experiences that I had.

I hope my comment is not perceived negatively, but it stems from personal experiences: I am an immigrant, I’ve been in Canada for 28 years; I work in the immigration field; my partner is a new immigrant from Europe, with a degree in the medical field..A lot of what you say can be true , but it lacks depth, analysts & most importantly the bigger picture. \n\nPlease widen the scope of your research & explain the rational as to why things may be the way i they are. \n\nRe. Taxes; please compare to so-called 1st world countries like Germany, France, etc...

About 90% Muslims work C category jobs like in factories, stores, gas stations, restaurants, taxi drivers or truck drivers. They could not get B or A category jobs due to Islamophobia. When you have children, they will be a minority, in religion and also in skin color and will most likely be bullied in school\n6. Watched a lot of your videos. One thing which have bothered me is that you always have some objection or problem with the Pakistani System which you experienced and yet you chose to RUN away from it, instead of fighting. There are a lot many people who are not as power holder as you were but they fight and take their life share from the same system in Pakistan.\n\nI do appreciate your videos where you are guiding people about different things in Canada, but please stop criticizing Pakistan in your each and every video for every tits and bits you have been through. There is always a positivity which is there in every sphere of life in Pakistan. Yes I do admit that, we have issues in Pakistan but you know it and all of us know it that all these looters and corrupt people are mostly settled in Canada, US & Europe.
