If you spend close to 24000 euros in Germany for 2 years course, oga you will get a decent well paying job and your life will even be easier than those in Canada. All these guys that were telling us here that they have spent 10years or more here,how have you come to Europe, how many years have you studied , these guys came with 1 month visa from maybe Poland and moved to Germany the next day and began to do a whole lot of things, let’s forget it. To me it’s Europe. When the language is the problem, learn it. Traveling outside is not like moving from nsukka to nnewi. You have to be smart .

I'm an immigrant from the UK, which is in someways worse than Canada and some ways better, both Governments are corrupt and beholden to the US Empire and huge Corporations. But food is unbelievably more expensive and the UK is an island. My husband wants us to move to the UK, but I have fallen in love with this country, it's beauty and it's people. When pay is as bad as back home, in some cases worse, why would they bother? Not to mention the taxes. And I happen to be a traditional leftist, who believes in progressive taxing. I know a lot from working all over canada and they come for the free money and health care and school, as soon at they are legal canadians every single one I know/knew left because they don't want to pay the high tax and cost of living, 1 guy I was friends with for a year showed me what he got to come here and it was = to 10 years pay for me at that time. Then he sold the house and cars and left after his temp visa expired, I know of people in AB and on the east coast working here and living 5 and 6 guys in a 3 bedroom and they send every cent back to their own country so they can buy land and housing, For them it's a great get rich quick plan, The one guy I knew for a year offered to pay to have my car fixed and I said no but he insisted it was free on his free tax payer supplied credit cards, If I was not from here and they offered me all this money and stuff Id be here doing the same thing, 5 years here makes you rich when you go home. 2 bedroom condo in Mexico is $85g so if I offered you a good job that will get you a house paid off and lifetime of saving in just 5 years but you have to live in another country would you do it. 100% I would Im looking at my adult kids who will never own a home if they stay here vs the people coming over for 5 years then their set, All my kids are planning to move to a new country for this very reason they are saving and then getting out when the depression hits.

I come from a very civilized country with a lot of education and history but awful economy. ?? I am myself educated but my country’s main salary is 700€/month and a descent one bedroom apt is the same price. There are no jobs no future if u don’t come from a rich fam. Simply put, the people with money are coming into Toronto to live from all over the world, therefore, the drastic changes in pricing will happens! I lived here for 30+ years, and is still here, you need money to live here and the people with money are either retired, working with high pay jobs or from overseas, mostly oversea money! (rich visa students, ppl looking for PR, real estate investors that need to park their money without the control of their governments etc...)

I live in Melbourne Australia. A guy once commented something regarding my dressing while I was wearing a yellow hoodie. And it was a very rich neighbourhood. I thought that was weird. Then in one day on Friday I was wearing a brown leather jacket with red t shirt inside, and multiple people passed some remarks about it. I have visited a number of Agents here in Kenya . I always find young people working in those agencies who are the ones giving you advice on ways to immigration to Canada. they tell you of how you will find jobs easily and how you will become rich. Mandirs are pure greedy business so much that ke rich ppl can do puja by paying extra.\n And Gurudwaras help you with food and lodging.\n Gurudwara is not business but social place. Most of Hindus also visit Gurudwara more than mandirs. \n It's cheaper for sikhs when someone dies than Hindus as Hindu Pandits will extract as much money as they can where as in Sikhism its like free. My Hindu friends used Gurudwara for last rasams of his father.

I recently travelled to Oregon & Washington state to see a Canadian friend who married an American. I found the price of food to be very expensive or on par with Canada, plus the exchange rate. The busy freeways traumatized me. I was stressed about avoiding medical care or any legal issues during my trip. While visiting a popular beach resort town, I was surprised to observe Americans talking loudly on their cell phones, oblivious to the beauty of the ocean & everyone around them. I noticed rich locals driving their rare convertibles. I was relieved to come back to my life in Canada. \nP.S. my friend recently got COVID, $3000 medical bill to pay, & spent most of the time recovering at home - almost died ?

Canada is not perfect by any means. Lots of room to improve things, and I absolutely love and appreciate Americans. Great folks. But, the fact that any person, rich or poor, no matter who it is, can go to the doctor as many times as they need to without getting a big bill. We do pay for little things. Like... sometimes you pay for crutches or special devices, but for the most part, you don't. It comes out of our taxes.\n\nPlus, couples get a year of maternity leave here. It can be split any way the couple likes. LIke... the mom or dad can have the whole year or they can split it up between them, part mom and part dad gets it. We have unemployment insurance we pay from our taxes, so if you get suddenly laid of from work, ,you get some money coming in for a while to tide you over until you find a new job. And the disabled can get disability coverage too.\n\nOf course, we do pay higher taxes for these things, but... I kinda like that everybody gets healthcare. NO, I'm not into Communism, but having social programs is great. And... um... we do have more education in Canada, and more avenues to get help with tuition.

I've been to 30 states in my many decades of travel. The US has become a scarier place over the past 20 years. The politics is very partisan, Evangelicals have expanded their influence resulting in less tolerance of others, gun violence is insane, the poor are very, very poor with no way out, the very, very rich don't want to share at all (contrary to Christian teachings), the US version of capitalism verges on slavery (certainly not what Adam Smith envisioned anyway), the race issues are becoming simply stupid, the MAGA supporters and the socialist far left and wokeness are simply beyond comprehension . . . overall, tolerance for differences is becoming lost. People on the left and the right are equally are to blame. \n\nOne of Canadians' favourite activities is to crap on America(ns). This is unfair. There are wonderful places in the US and wonderful people. Collectively though, I think the US is coming apart at the seams. Canada certainly has its warts and our politics and society is becoming polarized too. But overall I'd say, Canada is friendlier, less violent, not as bigoted, more open minded, fairer, much less hierarchical, and more educated with regard to what's happening in the world. I do like the entrepreneurial bent to the US but its version often comes at a huge cost to people.

if you are rich person, developing countries are better, since poor people are exploited and you cannot exploit poor in Canada for example you can have servants and drivers next to nothing, but they are also humans too,, IF not Canada is better since everyone have equal opportunity. but there are people who will also complain if they reach heaven too

But Tyler… He does NOT talk of NYC but upstate New York. Two worlds!!! Yes, the Big Apple is not representative of America (I’d actually say, it is a lot more European than American - and I am saying that as a European who has lived in Manhattan for a year), but upstate New York is completely different from the city and much more like other U.S. states. I have lived in New Jersey near Philadelphia, in Louisville, KY and Manhattan for a year each at the end of the eighties, the mid-nineties and from 1999-2000 and I can definitely say that the immense difference of all the posh and rich vs. all the downtrodden and poverty-stricken has really shocked me. You hardly see these extremes here in Europe - ever!
