If we did not cooperate with Mexico, why would there be any concern as to why the southern border would weaken? The government has no control over these people illegally entering our country?! During the Biden administration, sure, you can say there was cooperation with our neighbor to the south. What did that do? Record illegal crossings. We have no friends and we have no enemies in the global economy. We do what’s best for America?! That is something we can most certainly agree on, no???

So?! Mexico needs to show some of this “cooperation” and strengthen their economy so there people won’t come here. If Mexico is such a strong economic force, then why are the people flowing here?

All of a sudden we have to be careful of what Mexico’s president has to say? We are the strongest economy and we’ve been put to the test. We can do with or without. Tariffs mean better competition and manufacturing jobs to increase here in the US; more jobs = more money being earned and spent within our economy. What a slap on our American face with her statement when they’re the ones supplying the drugs. Let’s stop the consumption and see how well their economy and politics do.

A train wreck is coming down the tracks. Tariffs will increase the cost of living in the US because the cost of paying it will come out our own pockets, not the foreign countries. Mexico is a poor country that can't stand against the U.S. Their people will suffer if their economy goes bad, it will bring people to the streets.

You guys have no idea how powerful Mexico is, in the economy... jutst look to Europe's economy; thanks to all expresidents that have enreached their economy by their corrupt moves sending their billions to Europe while and after their president terms, and later they move to Europe(away from legal prosecutions). We understand that the company that outsources labor and buys foreign goods pay the tariffs completely. The idea is to put those businesses out of business for ones that manufacture/purchase in the US. If you out source for personal gain while hurting our economy you shouldn’t be in business. Each time I hear how bad our economy is heading and where our tax payers money is going, it makes me mad inside.

My husband and I are engineers from the US and Mexico and have lived in Germany for 15 years. Both speak fluent German and have raised three kids here. Yes, many people are racist. But if you learn the language well it’s not that hard to integrate and then things get much better. Germans can be the best friends you’ve ever had, much better than superficial Americans, but it can be hard to break through the shell. We have always loved it here. But to be honest with the steadily declining economy, massive scarcity in housing, and no salary increases in years, we are considering leaving as well. The outlook isn’t good for the Automotive industry and we could make double or triple the salary elsewhere. It would be very difficult to pull up our roots now gs better get better quick or we won’t stay much longer.
