You have no right to protest here in Canada so they show their real colors loves chaos. We must be vigilant on this.

Wish you well. \nI understand your concerns. Unfortunately Canada is expensive, but anyone that thinks Poilievre/conservatives will make anything better is delusional. Pierre Poilievre is a right wing con man like Trump. Conservatives don't believe in social services. Poilievre has no interest in solving anything.\nCriminalizing poverty and those with addiction is not the answer. Conservatives love corporate welfare but not helping those with real need. \nMany conservatives claim to be Christian. Yet so often push hate and lack empathy and compassion for others. Conservatives and many Christians push back against Jesus teaching of love/to help the poor and immigrants.\nIf fact many of them theses days would vilify Jesus as weak and woke. Look how selfish and unempathetic many conservatives behaved during the pandemic. \nWhat happened to basic human decency? \n\nPierre Poilievre/Conservatives will destroy Canada with their heartless anti- facts/science policies if Poilievre is elected. They prefer hate conspiracy theories and twisted religious ideology over objective facts and evidence based conclusions. \nIf Poilievre is elected say goodbye to heathcare, education and human decency. I'm no cheerleader for Trudeau but Conservatives are worse.

to be fair, most real estate agents in Ontario don't make anything - lazy choice of profession for many

It isnt about immigration \nIts about proper and skills immigration which should attract and invite real“foreign talent” that is needed and can contribute instead of leaching.

These students abused the system, they were given a chance to study here in Canada but their intentions are not to study but to jump directly to be a permanent resident once arrived in Canada….This people are demanding totally unacceptable. They can’t be thankful enough, …\n\nOne more thing, these students are submitting fake documents from India to Canadian Immigration.\n\n\nAnd now they want to be as important as real Canadians.\n\nTerrible people. Just go home..

As an-ex permanent resident who left Canada more than 10 years ago (before becoming a citizen), and always regretted it, seeing these type of videos (and comments) make me a little bit less remorseful. I went back a couple of times as a tourist for short period of times in Quebec and I did not notice a real degradation. Of course the covid period left some marks.\nBut the situation in my home country, France, to is going downhill much faster than Canada. But at least I know that re-emigrating to Canada might not be a good idea after all. Anyway it is becoming way too complicated due to my age.

Economic populism's focus on Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) programs misses the mark. Instead, we should embrace OPEN borders, allowing anyone to work and live in Canada without restrictions. This approach aligns with the market’s ability to determine labor needs better than government-imposed limitations.\n\nGovernment restrictions often fail to meet the real demands of the labor market, creating inefficiencies and bottlenecks. OPEN borders would let the market balance supply and demand more effectively, boosting productivity and fostering innovation.\n\nAdditionally, TFWs are often vulnerable to exploitation due to their uncertain status and tied employment. OPEN borders would protect workers from such exploitation, ensuring fair wages and working conditions.\n\nCanada’s demographic challenges, like an aging population, further highlight the need for a steady influx of labor. OPEN borders address these issues by providing a sustainable workforce and supporting economic growth.\n\nIn summary, OPEN borders offer a win-win-win scenario: they improve economic efficiency, protect foreign workers, and strengthen Canada’s economy. It’s time to move beyond outdated protectionist policies and embrace a market-driven approach.

Student protests? Or so-called student's protests? Many people go to Canada on fake student VISA by forged school/university. Because of these people real students are getting affected.

Honestly speaking, I never thought that there’s a lot of issues going on in Canada, during the college seminar, we were told that there’s good education (which is completely true), good pay rates for work, good housing and good society. After coming to Canada, I realized the rents are sky high, homeless people everywhere (it’s not their fault, they are homeless because of the government), drugs & weeds, everything’s expensive, high tax, couldn’t able to get even a low wage jobs? if I know these things are going to happen then I won’t come to Canada, also I don’t have enough money to pay back my education debt and I can’t go home without earning a single penny, I’m trying my best to spread awareness about the real issues that’s going on in here and I hope people will think twice before coming to Canada. \n\nOther than that, Canada?? is a beautiful country with amazing people, places and culture, I would love to be a part of it but if the situation is not gonna improve then I prefer to go back to India??

No..they're NOT real students, they come under the disguise as students with\nfraudulent papers mostly from punjab..this is their backdoor entry for residence..they enrolled in 3 & 6months courses and demanding residence after completion....they should all be deported immediately.

Zoning is the real issue why the market can’t provide enough housing, not the lack of a socialist national housing program.

The younger generation of Canada is facing the most hardships of all time. My friend’s son cannot find a job in a year now. He was discouraged to seek the truck driver license as he was told that he would not possibly to get a job in this career now unless you are an Indian. Not racism, but this is the real phenomenon now.

Canada has become a contractor nation. Big housebuilding firms with cheap access to money are in the business of real estate with their primary business of house building being done by contractors. Hence the pent up demand for labor. Dont blame India for this.

Canada is still better than most of Europe for pure economic opportunities.\nFor quality of life and fitting into a real country with real culture and homogeneous society? Then no Europe is better.

The real Germany (West Germany) is as described in the video. But paying taxes and knowing that someone in the east will get part of your earnings isn't something I'd subscribe to. Coz those in the East aren't Germans, but rather a mix of USSR and 3rd Reich citizens.

The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

Without a clear housing/ real estate policy, the world is going down. Real estate prices should be regulated based on the average income. A person or family should not be allowed to have more than two properties. This is capitalism and globalization at its best. Enjoy it!

Immigrants mean votes for Justin Trudeau. It would be interesting to see how many immigrants have real skills. There is also the tendency to view the situation from the new immigrants pwrspective and in that the perspective of the established generation and the one they gave burth to and the promises made gets left out or highly diluted.
|

This new policy is aimed at reducing the 26000 temporary immigrants to 13000. Does it make any sense. The real problem of immigration is at students coming in lakhs.

WE can't support real Canadians, how in hell are we going to house these people. Canada will end up like England, a English man said, no dentist , no doctors, couldn't get his kid in school to many of these people. My grandson can't get a job but people from India can ..I don't see them living on the streets like Canadians'.. This is not going to end well we need a few million deported

If you acting like europe is obligated to receive them you will get push back. and it's normal and also europeans values. If you push europe like is obligated to solve the whole worlds problem you will get push back. and that's normal. It's about choice. This problem need to be solved with sincere discussions. Stop calling europe the buggy man. Islam is a problem. If been in Egypt. My son got sick in the rooms cleaned poorely by man, because women are not alowed to work, my wife got out of the complex to buy some medicine and got beaten out because he did not where a Hijab. I don't wnat that to happen to my country. Or around my family or my town. I don't wanna generalise but let's be honest. It's impossible to talk about their religion or to convince someone that their religion is the biggest cause for all their problems. Which nobody seems to want to solve it... or not even recognise it. working only on effects is stupid and expensive. Nobody can help milions and milions and milions of people. I mean they are 1.3 bilions people and they keep having many children no matter the situation. it's easy to sell a story today i i get your point you're humanists... but we got to keep it real too. And as a husband i know what is like to look like you are the bad guy but keep the family safe... and not fall into utopia ...

If you think you have it bad in Canada. Here in the US is much worse. No future, extremely expensive anywhere you live, no quality of life, hospitals that can bankrupt you even if you have insurance and REAL crime. I’m sorry, I get that Canada has its problems but nothing compared to its southern neighbors.

What a terrible journalist. No actual questions to give insight into how theyre making changes.\n\nThrow blame at them all you want. An interview isn't the time to do it. Youve just wasted a time when you could've asked real hard hitting questions instead of a whole lot of nonsense questions about the past.

Damage is done, and wages haven't gone up because it. Theyve destroyed the Canadian working class especially the middle class of this country. The politicians aren't the real problem, its the voters who believed at the beginning that the budget will balance itself and gave Harper the boot. Congratulations Canadian Voters, you are also just as much responsible for all this due to your lack of knowledge and taking little fish baits to please you and supporting Trudeau

Canada has a ponzi scheme of an economy and the only things propping it up is a real estate bubble and low skill, low wage foreign workers/students....its a house of cards and if the government sneezes it will come toppling down. Theres no solution other than to go though alot of pain to fix it. Personally i think its time to look for an exit, Canada is going to be a difficult place to get ahead for at least the next decade.

Is being a Canadian farmer in Saskatchewan really middle class? Like how can you be a farmer without having a net worth in the millions? A farm costs millions, and you need a farm to be a real farmer.

The language barrier is the real problem. You can't be employed as an engineer because you don't speak German. As a result, many engineers end up doing minijobs to survive in Germany. Funny enough, all Germans speak fluent English. Many students studying in English in Germany are planning to leave after their studies. They claim to look for skilled workers, but the reality is that Germans haven't opened up to the world yet.

The only way to grow wealth in Canada is real estate because the Canadian Gov keeps it that way. It's a failure of a system, if he doesn't like it, he can go back to India with all his family and friends.
