It's sad.. People who go overseas for job and study face these.. Shame on customer

What a kunt of a person! Case Study - How to keep calm when a customer behaves like a total jakof'!

Kids. Look at this. Remember, these are the same jobs you have to do and put up with the same shit that this guy had to deal with when you go to other countries to study and think there are better opportunities.\nDoes not matter if you come from a wealthy and respected family in India. You will be treated as shit outside.

Every would-be student who thinks Canada is a better country to live better think 500 times, not just twice. In 2024, if you moved to Canada, you will not only be living in poverty for decades. Stay away. 20, 30 years ago I would have said the opposite but not anymore. You will be met with the worst shock of your life that you won't be able to recover from unless you go home to your country of origin or consider other countries to study in or move to.

I was having a conversation with some people international students that said that they don’t really study here (or are studying certain things) and they’re just laughing saying that they just came here for fun… Which also plays into this whole international student scam that’s going on. But to see that they had that reaction like it was funny, it annoyed me. Obviously, I didn’t say something I just said “be careful who you say that to.” Because one day somebody might just snap. \n\nLook as much as the gov exploits us, I just wish everybody came here with a fair heart not trying to exploit people.. no matter where you’re from or your purpose being here.

Going abroad on loans to work as a delivery guy..my guy study in india it's way cheaper!!!
2024-04-05 0
The delivery guy is probably a student studying something the baster insulting him couldn't even grasp in a million years. In a few years he will have a great job and the rude asshole will continue to line in that rotten govt assisted apartment.

A Lituanian ?\nHis name looks lithuanian.\nAnd he comes in Canada ... to study ??!\nWhat piece of western (...) has become that eastern european country ?
2024-04-05 0
Be careful. British fascists currently in government count foreign students as migrants in annual stats, even though over 90% leave after they finish their studies. \nMigrant workers are the low skilled, low paid workforce who do the jobs that your citizens won’t do unless paid and employed fairly. Deport them and their families go too. \nHow’s your birth rate? Most Western capitalist countries are flatlining because they are all using migrant workers as excuses for their own failures in government and migrant workers tend to have children, who grow up and add wealth to the economy.

Trudoft is a chief of scam. He make policy to lure more international students come to Canada, help his Gov has income. \nThen he now blaming them for Canadians problems, changing immigration policy without any concerns of harmful impact it could affect to international students who is / were studying in Canada. \nSuch a shameless, disgraceful, hypocrisy woke PM. \nA Scam Lord.

This delivery guy who looks like an Indian is calm because that's what our culture has taught us to be humble and respectful. \nAlso, odds are that he is in Canada for studies, which means he is educated, unlike the customer.

Stop coming here if it's too expensive. I'd never work and study if I was 19 years old
2024-04-03 0
Despite healthcare system problems, the average life expectancy in Canada is one of the highest in the world. Despite the poor public transportation, Canadian society does not want to actively invest in it and give up cars. Despite the expensive education in Canada, only few immigrants will send their children to their old country to study at a university, while hundreds of thousands of students come to study in Canada every year with the desire to remain in the country by all means, and that despite the harsh climate, relatively high unemployment, not very efficient healthcare, enormously expensive housing and poor public transport. Isn’t it ironic?

Thanks for your advice but I have a question!\n\nCan someone use study visa to seek asylum based on the homophobic law? And also if the application is received can the person also continue with the education while the asylum claim is being checked?
2024-04-02 0
Canada brings in many educated professionals to the country but when they arrive, they're unable to get a job. I've heard horror stories of doctors from Latin America who have been told that in order for them to practice medicine in the country, they're required to do further study at a university for between 2-4 years (regardless of English proficiency). Canada clearly doesn't value foreign experience or qualifications.

I just share this information to my telegram immigration group...I do study permit and work permit to Canada, I live in Edmonton......

The international students were sold the easy PR dream. They will never admit it because they state on their visa application that they are going to return home after completing their studies. This lax immigration policies gave rise to all the shady colleges and diploma mills that you see today and we are now seeing the consequences of it which the locals have to suffer and the international students as well. What surprises me more is the students own lack of research in todays day and age of technology. Even the skilled immigration route like the Express Entry has no cap so that those streams can slow down once it's reached its cap for the year and IRCC can focus on the next set of skills that are in shortage in the country. There is so much redundancy in skill sets that actual areas where skills are needed is lacking today. It's a complete mess. The government has bottled it big time.

If you come as a student, don't complain about the job market. You came to study not to work.
2024-03-30 0
What a great video. For my personal experience the current recession and how it has affected the job market and the interest rates (inflation) is the root cause of all this. I also came as student BEFORE COVID and it was also hard to study and work to keep up with your basic expenses BUT at least there were jobs. Now the problem is the lack of jobs. Criminality is very relative and as you mentioned depends of your own expectation and environment prior arriving to Canada. The homeless and drug adicts problem is really concerning, specially here in Vancouver where I live. What I do is avoiding the downtown as much as I can. I would not mind to live in a smaller city or town as long as the salaries are good enough however the problem is that the living cost there are as high as here in the cities.

Aur jao bahar studies karne duniya dekhne. India ghar hai aur ghar chhod k nahi jana chahiye ghumne k alawa

International students come to Canada to work not to study. The whole international student experience is a scam it is a back door for our broken immigration system.
2024-03-30 2
These international students using foodbanks need to be deported. If you can’t afford to support yourself while you study here than you shouldn’t be admitted into the country

I am an international student in Canada. I am already planning to leave Canada after my studies.. Going Back to My Country..
2024-03-29 4
I came here as an international student, back then you could only get your PR if you studied at an accredited university, not a career college. Back then skilled workers were required, and that is how you were able to get a PR. Canada has changed so much, multicultural has left and more and more there are two cultures dominating. I came here because I use to visit for our annual holidays then decide I liked the culture and wanted to study here. The landscape has shifted , Canadians will soon be the minority and that is not the Canada I want to be paying taxes in. \nThere are always protesters waving foreign flags demanding that the government help their families, love ones in another country, meanwhile Canadians here are loosing their homes , can't afford food, basic life necessities and living in tents. Charity should start at home first.\nResponsible tax payers cannot afford to have kids, why because the taxes we pay are too high, if we're struggling to survive why would we subject a child into this world to experience the same. However, there are millions of dollars in incentives for people who never paid in to come to Canada with their extended family members who are dependent on government support, that we the taxpayers have to finance. The aging population could be address if the affordability could be address for citizens living here and PAYING taxes. If the government wants to bring in aging populations who never worked in Canada, their families should be funding their living here including healthcare, not taxpayers. Invest in your people first , help Canadians become more skilled to fill positions that there are shortages, lower taxes to allow Canadians to have said families and replenish the population , these are the people who would always put Canada first.

I am from India and many people dream to go to Canada for higher study and jobs but in last year I have many Indians professional are either returning back to India or going to Gulf or South European countries.

As a Canadian this video is only touching the tip of the iceberg. #1 Canada was built by immigrants (like my late grandparents) for immigrants, Immigrants regardless if they are here on a work or study permit are not the problem but the solution, always have been and always will be. Yes the part of the problem can be attributed to an inadequate affordable housing and yes the federal government does deserve blame for that. However as the 2nd largest nation in the world by land mass yet with a population less than California, we have a lot of underdeveloped areas from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and that is also the fault of the federal government regardless of political stripe. Regardless if people come to Canada to work or study, the federal government needs to make it more attractive to them to reside outside the BIG 3 cities of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver which have become overwhelmed with immigrants hence the strain on housing and healthcare

I used to study in one of Canadian colleges back in 2018 and lately graduated in 2021s. My parents paid the college instead of me , fortunately around 300K CAD for a college tuition fee to grocery fees to monthly room rentals in Toronto. \n\n I am a Korean national and i see there is no benefit for me to move in to Canada as Canadian cities have extremely high housing rentals compared to major cities in the US. I do hope US govt bridges and gets the internatinoal student in Canada approval for a work visa and possibly let them move in to small cities in the US.
2024-03-27 0
Adding the comment just to boost the video. People probably mentioned, but the monopoly driven economy is killin everything. When I cam from US (spent 2 years studying there) I was schocked by the prices and lack of infrastructure. And that was 20 years ago. Now, it's getting just REDUCULOUS !!! I tell everyone who plans to move to think more than twice.

Lovely video! \n \nWelcome to the dark, gray, and occasionally depressing northern hemisphere. While I don't reside in Canada, I do share a similar latitude across the Atlantic. You're all doing great, and I believe in your ability to thrive here. \n \nI'd like to offer two quick suggestions. Firstly, regarding the quality of winter clothing, Northface is a reliable option. I recommend exploring videos on layering techniques for winter. Mastering this, along with acquiring the appropriate attire, will prove invaluable, especially considering the unpredictable weather changes and potential wind chill effects. Purchasing winter clothing during the summer and vice versa for summer attire can yield some excellent bargains. \n \nSecondly, envision yourselves as future business owners. Observe the entrepreneurial spirit of independent individuals from various backgrounds, such as Africans, Chinese, and Indians, within your community. As you pursue your studies, or work (even if it is a menial job) work diligently, and aim for promotions, remember that you're also working towards building something meaningful for yourselves. It can be quite tough but this mindset will undoubtedly pay off in the long run. Explore, Etsy, shopify as well. Who knows... \n \nEnjoy Canada!

if the DLI i want to go to doesn't require a prerequisite course. do i still have to take it as someone who came to canada with a visitors visa and want to apply for study permit?

I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

You are incorrect, secondary school studies suddenly picks up and you can pick schools if you want to challenge your kids eg. IB progra.

IRCC has granted them visas: study permits, work permits, spousal permits. Once they completely stop granting these so easily, then we may talk about change. Someone or some people are profiting big time when a student comes here. They are just trying to survive, you can't blame them for that. Blame Canada's immigration policies. It's the Canadians that allow them in the first place.

I've seen studies linking violent crime to poverty. As cost of living rises, so will violent crime.

But why are these people running off to Canada to study when you can also do it in India? Some even better quality!!

There's nothing wrong going to a different country try studying aboard but Canada needs to fix the system. It's clearly pretty broken rn.

Justin Trudeau. That's our problem. He has completely destroyed our country. Coming form an Accountant that heavily studied economics in University - this is purely poor decision making and leadership.

Sir can a single applicant still use the GCKEY portal for study permit?
2024-03-18 0
100% True! Very well researched. It used to be better but a 2023 study showed that US salaries for the same work are 46% higher while the US also collects much fewer taxes on both salary and sales. On top of that nearly everything other than education is much more expensive in Canada! We have much less variety of products available too and even imported goods are sold for higher prices. Waiting 10+ hours in an emergency room is considered normal which is really shocking considering that Canada is numerically one of the richest countries!
2024-03-17 0
When a student arrives in Canada they are expected to have enough money to tide them over for the duration of their studies. Twenty hours a week of employment is permitted. Please consider everything before saying how hard life is when you've got to study, submit assignments on time and keep your grades up. Students in the US have been doing this from a very long time. Stop complaining and start studying.
2024-03-17 0
It is from too many new immigrants and international students and making everything more expensive and lack of work., these new immigrants are getting the jobs feist and these students r here to study but no they come here to work and get free food from food banks for the needed.

It’s very surprising because here in France, many people think that the situation is better in Canada and plan to go and live there, especially students after the end of their studies. It seems that the grass is not necessarily greener elsewhere...
