I hate people who think they can move to a country and no follow the rules it’s a campus not a place for knives
2024-05-14 0
It's great that people want to come here and study, but... When you come here and abuse the rules and work well beyond the limits of your work permit and work double and triple the amount of hours that is not ok. Another issue is when you take only business courses and then fail out just you didn't actually get any skills that are needed in this county to allow you to stay after your schooling. If you follow the rules, great! Come learn and work and share our culture for your school term, but if you don't want to follow the rules...

They walked out of class?? To protest for right they do not have??? Is that against ANY rules? Can’t we just cancel the agreement??
2024-05-14 0
1.7 Billion Indians, 40 Million Canadians…we get to vote and decide how to run our space, this is the definition of democracy. India has no vote in what happens here. You were our guests, say thank you, then follow our rules…get off my couch, you don’t get to stay in our house while our neighbours sleep under the bridge.
2024-05-14 0
They have to go back!!! Any who were part of the protests cannot be allowed to return. Remember when Canadians were savagely beaten by their own government gestapo for protesting government rules that changed overnight? These students aren't Canadians. Canadian's interests must come first!!\nPetey Politico and his fake Conservative globalists are not going change any of the globalist policies brought in by Blackface.
2024-05-13 0
They were SCAMMED by Canadian Govt which invited these students on one set of rules, took their money and then overnight changed the rules.
2024-05-13 0
?????????\nyou guys imported third world villagers, yes, directly from small villages for cheap labour.\nI don't even understand why are you guys give PR rather just use normal visa rules like USA when Canadian wet dream is to be an American.
2024-05-13 0
Rules should be followed other wise chaos happens !! Hence trudeau !
2024-05-13 0
Then what about Muslims in canada. They are illegal immigrants and get win to rule the country ? how can you see Pass that.
2024-05-13 0
Hey ! who is going to deliver food and amazon prime delivery? Who is going to cut me off in traffic? Who is going to dangerously drive their e-bikes and scooters in the narrow space between heavy traffic and parked cars and blame me for being unsafe? \n\nNot interested in crying unfair by someone who was told a YEAR ago there is a change in the law. They have the PRIVILLAGE to be in Canada, not the right. They are here for OUR benefit (our house=our rules). If their presence no longer benefits Canadians = bye bye.
2024-05-13 0
3:48 the irony is in communism the government would just act and make rules all of a sudden with little input and regard for the people.
2024-05-13 0
Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.
2024-05-13 0
There have to be clear rules! And the PM is not helping much neither Canadian nor Immigrants
2024-05-13 0
fair rules? wrong country, kids
2024-05-13 0
PEI DO NOT AGREE THEIR DEMANDS OR DO NOT CHANGE RULES FOR THEM. THEY DONT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO PROTEST UNDER STUDENT VISA RULE, IF YOU AGREE THEIR DEMANDS NOW, TOMORROW THEY WILL PROTEST FOR SOMETHING ELSE.
2024-05-13 0
We want fair rules
2024-05-13 0
Holy shit the fact that its Indian's chanting fair rules is so ironic. These people are the biggest scammers, lying on visa/school applications, lying about education and job experience, scamming driving schools so people with no driving experience are getting licenses, mortgage scams, food bank scams, I could go on and on. They have taken so much advantage and treated our country so badly, that even Canadian liberals, the most welcoming and pro-immigrant people on earth are sick of them.
2024-05-13 0
THEY KNOW THE GOVERNMENT IS A WIMP , JUST DEPORT THEM ASAP AND NO NEGOTIATIONS AND EXTENSIONS! IT IS NO FAIR FOR IMMIGRANTS WHO FOLLOW RULES AND REGULATIONS TO COME HERE … THIS ARE LAZY I…S TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM PROMULGATED BY FUCKING STUPID POLITICIANS!
2024-05-13 0
How on earth do they have the right to protest in our country? Temporary visas in other countries forbid protesting. While I disagree with changing the rules overnight because of governmental incompetence, I also don't agree with foreigners having any say in how we run our country. They'll be allowed to stay, especially with mainstream media behind them.
2024-05-13 0
I do not support mass immigration. But if are deporting then it should be applied across the board. At least indian students dont pull down the national flag and replace with other flags. \n\nPEI made rules on their own accord. We are a rules based society and these rules cannot be changed midway. It does not happen in a game of soccer and should not hapoen in life.
2024-05-13 0
There was a reason they made a rule where you can get permanent residence after 6 months. Who benefits from chaos, poverty? The liberals are working hard to destroy Canada and now I see PP pushing it?
2024-05-13 0
If the original immigration permit made sence then rules should remain and be followed.
2024-05-13 0
TEMPORARY means temporary. They knew the rules b4 they came here. How many aren't really students? Go home and if you want a PR, apply for one through the normal process. with a complete criminal records check. I don't feel sorry for these students. You are oppressing people who were born and raised here.
2024-05-13 0
As a legal immigrant who EARNED my citizenship by following the rules and actually contributing to this country through hard work, I'm perfectly comfortable supporting these freeloaders' deportation.
2024-05-13 0
That's correct temporary workers temporary students have no say in Canadian politics Rules regulations or law and certainly cannot push their way in
2024-05-13 0
So sick of demanding students from Canada, let alone whiney foreign exchange students. Get lost! Government needs to stop the high influx of foriegn students. Our priority is housing, and healthcare for Canadian citizens. Rules are rules, temporary means you have to leave. And Pierre Poilievre you need to change your stance and concentrate on young Canadians first!
2024-05-13 0
Great way to make these people scapegoats.\nHow about you deport the illegals, instead of the people that went through the process and followed all the rules?
2024-05-13 0
Canada make the rules,no imigrants. Protest,in Your country, not in Canada
2024-05-13 0
If they are NOT deported after this, there is a precedent set and it will be a problem. They have no right to demand rights or residency or that the rules be changed. Go home.
2024-05-13 0
Protest for “fair rules”, in India.
2024-05-13 0
If Canada needs to stick to the rules of the land ok We are being tested,, if Canada caves the flood gates will be open!
2024-05-13 0
Devil's advocate here, if the gov changes the rules on these international students half way through their program, that kinda sucks. It's called 'bait and switch'.
2024-05-13 0
I’m Indian and I will be damned if I say I agree with you. This shouldn’t be allowed. Follow the rules. This mob culture has to stop. I work my ass off and I can’t get by. My industry went on a strike for a year and I couldn’t get a survival job. These students can move from one province to another any time they want. How is this possible. Isn’t there any law to prevent them moving from the place they came to “study” in the first place and move to another location just for PR? I waited two years to get my police verification done from all the countries I worked before my immigration application got approved. These days it’s like the immigration ministry is handing over permanent residency like candies. More over if I go to a shop ask for help I get answers in a language I don’t speak or follow. Why are we allowing this? Why can’t these guys speak English or French? Why am forced to learn Punjabi? If these guys want to create a ghetto for themselves why are they doing it here? Who’s allowing all this? What’s happening to those English language tests? I don’t care if they fulfill any of those departments that require eligible workers. Why do we have to import truck drivers and factory workers? I’m fed up with this and I wonder why Canadians aren’t worried about their country and culture and react like they do. Oh no, we can’t do that. We will be arrested and our bank accounts will be closed and won’t have money to eat. Thanks Justin.

I think Everyone is right and wrong at the same time in all of this. Students are wrong to expect 'rights' in a country of which they are not a citizen of but they are also right in the point that government changed the rules overnight without any prior guidance. This the the same as increasing corporate tax rate in this budget. It came out of nowhere. The employers are also right because more labour = lower wages. These students are willing to work to far less than an average Canadian. If these students don't work for low wages then inflation goes ballistic. If you have to pay higher wage to manufacture a product then that extra cost gets passed on to the consumer. raising price of goods = inflation. Also This would increase taxes. If you pay more for a product, you pay % tax on total price of that item which now has baked in higher wages. If you do bring in more of these cheap labour than social services cant keep up like health care. I cannot believe how thoroughly this government has fked our country.
2024-05-13 0
Time to deport if you finish school, you know the rules when you signed the contract.
2024-05-13 0
These power hungry politicians have already converted this great country in to a fourth world country. If the government bends the rules and bow to the demands of these international students, soon there will be a demand for the formation of Khalistan within the territories of Canads.
2024-05-13 0
Deport them all. Good job to the pei gov that changed these rules.
2024-05-13 0
Our liberal/ndp government is unbelievable, why are there rules in place, if the government won't stick to them. A 2yr extension for what?
2024-05-13 0
PR was never guaranteed. They could APPLY. It is the rule of the country. You took a chance and it didn't work out. ?
2024-05-13 0
yesday milsr announced permanent residents will be increased heavily by converting temporary to permanent residents and work visas will be granted in a week now anyone who want to become permanent will be in as soon as possible to take advantage of this rules ?while peo0le here suffer the lack of services and jobs
2024-05-13 0
How can they demand anything? I was on a 2 year work visa in the UK and the moment my visa was up, I left because I followed THEIR rules. These students should not be allowed to work, they are taking jobs away from young Canadians. I am not racist, I have seen it everywhere with my own eyes and talking to people.
2024-05-13 1
Fair rules? I've worked my ass off my entire life to earn retirement. You want to stay here? Pay me money!
2024-05-13 0
Our Country, Our Rules. Time to go back home, #foreignstudents, and make your homeland better.
2024-05-13 0
Being an Indian I think Canadian Govt. must make stricter rule regarding the change of character in the city's culture. You can't build outposts of India everywhere even if you are allowed in. The local people there seem pretty cool and adaptive. Build temple one or two but must assimilate to their culture, otherwise get out. Otherwise, Canada would be destroyed.

I lived in Ottawa all my life...maybe 2015, they started coming in so fast, I've never really seen so many Indians...now they're all over the place. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just what I've noticed. And lately I have been seeing them in Gatineau but knowing Quebec has new French rule, this may not want them to go live in QC. I think Vancouver has a lot of Chinese and Indians. Just the way it is. They say white people had it too easy and just demanded more from the government whereas Asians will come here for a better life, possibly doing labor work and not complain, so is this is the government is accepting of them? Are they helping with the economy? I am not sure where where all these numbers are coming from.
2024-05-12 0
This is are governments fault way to many Indians Justin Trudeau let this happen bent are way of life for other cultures if we were in India we would have to follow there rules

I have lived in Toronto for over 20 years. I love this city, but I can no longer afford to live here even with a great job and decent salary. When I received a rent increase of 10% for my 1 bedroom apartment on January 1 followed by a 3% annual salary increase shortly after that, the writing was on the wall. That gap is never going to close and things are going downhill fast from here now that I'm at a point where rent eats up more than half of my monthly earnings. The 30% rule is and has been a joke for a very long time. On top of that being mandated back to the office and forced to take the TTC which is a non-stop gong show sealed the deal. I'm leaving. I have decided to move back to Winnipeg to be closer to family, where housing is still affordable and I'll still make a better than living wage. Never thought I would find myself returning to live there, but now I'm actually looking forward to it because the downsides I used to focus on no longer exist when the high possibility of ending up homeless is removed from the equation.

The man they are interviewing is right on point about almost everything. He knows his stuff. The point he made about the druggies not wanting to follow the rules is absolutely correct. I have heard that more times than I can count. Many people dont want to get off drugs and they do not want to stop if they get housing. What weak people. Useless humans.

Many had gotten white man rule, when they will start , they are more racist than anyone can be remember Churchill -from India
