Alina hasn’t figured out yet that all countries of any consequence are run by the same syndicate. They control the puppet politicians and the fake political parties. Canada is still benefiting from its previous homogenous culture and economy but now things are deteriorating rapidly. This situation will continue to get worse unless people overthrow those who have been in power in both fake parties and place limited government, anti immigration, individual freedom advocates in their place.

I grew up in Canada but moved to the States in the late 90s. During the pandemic my wife and I decided to come back in order to be closer to family. After ~25 years of living in the US we were shocked at how things had changed - particularly in Toronto where we lived in the 90s and (briefly) returned to. We are gone again and I suspect we will never return.

I can identify with a lot of your comments. I live in the United States, where I have lived all my life. It's a great country and I'm thankful for the life that I have had here, but things are changing and it no longer feels like the same country that I grew up in. To add some perspective, I grew up in the 70's and 80's. My wife is from Colombia, and I have been there 11 times so far ( trip number 12 coming in a few months), and I love Colombia. I am planning to move there when I retire. I know it's not a perfect place, as there is no such thing as a perfect place, and there will be some things that I will miss about my life in the states, but it feels like the right choice for my retirement. I can hear in your voice how you feel conflicted, and I have those same feelings. Ultimately, we all have to make the choices that are best for us as individuals.

A boat can only hold so much before it sinks. Canada already had a big housing and unemployment problem. I know people would love to be altruistic but you will end up drowning. It’s the same thing in the US and Europe.

Yes there are a lot of issues that needs to be addressed. However, its immature to blame every problem onto immigration. Most of us dont know enough about how things really works. Its not like if we stop immigration then all these problems would be fixed, in fact i think we need this population growth due to low birth rates and lack of labor etc. In my personal experience i see in real life where immigrants are working and contributing in all kinds of fields, such as construction, health care and elderly care … instead of pointing fingers, first educated ourselves on this topic, and then think about how we can make this work, i think that would be more beneficial for everyone.

Too bureaucratic, no foreigners in the higher echelons of management, latent xenophobia (even in medical field!!!), overpaid but bad public transport. The only good thing is that the wages are OK, not too low but still comfortable. I would advise people to seek their future in the Nordics or NL.

I would love to live in Germany, I speak some German. But it doesn't make sense for me since wages are low compared to the United States. Its a shame too since I am an IT expert and from what I hear its extremely easy to get in, and most jobs don't require ANY German. But the pay is almost half. Sure, I'd probably make up for this in quality of life improvements versus the United States, but I'd be broke, in a small apartment in a major city, unable to do the things I enjoy in life. Maybe suitable for someone in their 20s-30s, not me.

So, this dude toward the end seems to think that supply and demand don't mean anything (everyone's money spends equally) and that bad things or decisions from the '80s and '90s somehow will be made better by flooding the country with immigrants? That is how fantastical these people think.

I am a senior developer from Brazil living in Berlin since 2022, I have lots of friends from other countries too and the most frequent complainings are about the inflation on living costs, mainly about how hard and expensive it is to get a decent place here. There is a feeling that people are not feeling that safe here too, but still safer than most of other countries around the world.\nAt the end, money talks louder. If you are having a good life and are being able to save something you feel great, if you are just living to cover the expenses the small things starts to feel bigger than they are.

The video clip of air hostesses is not from Pakistan but from India which has better employees and they don't do such things?

I think that the 2 leaders of opposing countries, religions, “teams” whatever, they should meet, promising everyone is safe, promising to each other n keeping their promise, and they should have dinner or lunch, maybe breakfast. But they should face to face, share a meal and talk. I promise u that things would change for the better. We all should do this. There would be way less war, eventually none. One in four Canadians, and growing are living below the poverty line or homeless in such a traditionally stable and wealthy country, which indicates one thing, the country is broken and has been mismanaged or deliberately ruined by corrupt politicians and political parties. Bringing in migrants with little capital or skills just exasperated the problems and needs to be stopped before Canada becomes another Western failed state.

I worked in the gold industry and nobody ever bought any precious metal as an investment. It is one of the most foolish things you can do with your money. Where do you safe keep it? It earns no interest. And everyone sells it at a loss.

Immigration is one thing asylum seekers is another thing I work in a bank and you should see the money that these people get I have seen where they are living on $7000 a month and they also get the child tax credit of $2500. They are living better than me working full-time.

I’m not Muslim but I can understand some of these reasons why you’d want to leave Canada…Canadas not merely diverse anymore it’s diluted, money & bills culturalism is the real identity…it’s hard then ever to acquire personal wealth in the socialist nation. Still one of the cleanest & safest though…isolated crimes yes, bigoted & discriminatory somewhat but the irony is it’s mostly from the new immigrants that bring it from their own war torn etc countries. When my kids were in high school, the student population at their school was 84% Punjabi. Nice kids, nothing against them, but that says to me that, given the severe crisis in housing and the cost of living, we maybe ought to make things livable for the people who are already here (regardless of whether they were born here) before inviting a lot of new people to come and put more strain on the system

Man I can't believe things are always getting out of hand. Everyday every week it's always getting out of hand. Someone told me the other day, the homeless people in traffic asking for money are getting out of hand. Even though there's been tent cities for at least 8 years now. Seems like it's going to be getting out of hand for years and years and will never actually be bad. ?

Canadian law favours our criminals & law abiding citizens are the ones who get shafted smh. i just asked a.i why construction costs are through the roof and one of three reasons is increased fuel costs ... and shortage of construction workers ... the real problem is the supply and demand ... if you don't agree people should think about what happens when not enough people are buying something at the retail stores - the thing will go on sale. Don't forget the WEF is in Switzerland where they have anonymous Swiss bank accounts and ten billionaires for every politician who attends ... no chance for global real estate investment corporations to bribe our politicians to make life almost unbearable for too many Canadians by bringing in too many people so the price of real estate goes unchecked eh ? Uncontrolled growth is an issue. When we let corporations dictate the things in society that we NEED without taking a step back to plan so that their greed doesn't overrun us all, we get what we have now. Corporations and politicians are behind this.

As a former Ontario landlord, key word being former, DO NOT RENT ANY UNITS OUT IN ONTARIO! Rent is the only thing the government allows you to steal. If I owned a corner store and I caught people stealing candy bars from me, then found out it takes at least a year to get a hearing with the CandyBay Tribunal to force thieves from walking off with my candy bars.....I WOULD STOP SELLING CANDY BARS! If you are renting a property in Ontario, your tenants could stop paying you. Then use 'Cash For Keys' to extort you for dozens of thousands of dollars, in plain words, EXTORTION. This is the cold reality of Ontario, find another way to make money....
