Now Imagine How Native Canadians feel every time they see a European calling him/herself as a real Canadian. You don't see future in Canada, but you can return back to your home country. But for Native Canadians, they don't have present and they can't go anywhere else, bcz its their home land, home country. It's like someone comes to your house as a guest, then they force you to live in one corner while captures the rest of the house and now even give some rooms of your house on rent, and takes that rent, gives you no facility, nothing. Europeans were invaders who captured the room or the lands of Native Canadian people and forced them to live in most unlivable areas.

No problem, you can go better to Russia or China, where the living conditions are far better than in Canada. Are you part of the Anti-West propaganda or part pf the Western population that love to practice self-flagelaltion criticizing their own culture and history? I say this because Canada is objectively (measured) one of the most livable countries in the world.

Why Canada, they can go to other better country,at least Australia or Switzerland ?

I had to flee Ukraine while leaving there as an US citizen, and I just didn't want to go back to the US. I tried Germany, Slovakia and NL as alternate, and ended up in Switzerland. Hope I will be allowed to stay here as this is a perfect country indeed. You are also a beautiful woman (just my 5 cents) ?.

Countries like France, Germany refuse to accept the reality that eventually their languages are going to disappear as many others around the world as indicated also by history. Suggestion, if you are REALLY deseparate for labour force, it is realistic to require for a high level of English instead of German.

I left Canada finally after many many years of debating for myself. It’s the best thing I ever did. I have a really good job, that pays me more than three times my monthly overhead. After literally struggling in Canada for 30+ years as an adult trying to keep a job amongst colleagues that hate you for everything that I was and wasn’t, had and didn’t have. I’m very happy that I left and can go to work peacefully everyday, without needing to feel like I’m a piece of crap that doesn’t have the right to exist. I came to Canada at age 12 with my parents. And was always called names, always under minded, overlooked, put down, bullied and never had a single job that also contributed to my pension. When I left Canada, immigration Canada emailed me daily for three months telling me to come back to Canada IMMEDIATELY lol. Because my home country wasn’t safe enough to live in. I’m from Belgium. It’s much safer, friendlier, empathic and prosperous than Canada ever was

As someone who has lived in Germany for almost 9 years and speaks C2 German, this is my take: \n- I understand the language requirements are necessary , but they are more often than not completely unrealistic unless you started with the language at a young age or you have lived in Germany for many years. \n- The bureaucracy and hurdles to obtain visas and permits are absurd. It is literally easier to throw away your passport and claim asylum than go the legal way to obtain permanent residence or citizenship. This is crazy, the government needs to reform this. \n- Cost of living is high and wages are ok, but the taxes are way too high. It is frustrating to give away so much for a government that malinvests much of that money.\n- Due to the high costs and relatively low real income, it is hard to build up wealth. \n- The culture is also not easy to adapt to. Even though I master the language and have many German friends, I still deeply have the feeling I don’t belong. I am ok with that, I still love the country and its people, but it’s not for everyone. \n\nIf you are a highly skilled worker with no previous connections to Germany, I don’t see many reasons anyone would pick it over other rich countries.

Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am now building a business and want to expand to Canada for my actual retirement. As an immigrant in Canada, this countries infrastructure simply isn’t built for the progression it’s tried to achieve, hence the failure. I’m leaving in December to go back home as even though I earn really great money, it’s just simply not the lifestyle reflected by what I put in.

In face, Canada is good to raise children, but when they grow up and you are free on yourself, it is better to change to live in other countries. South america and Southeast asia are among good choices. Selling your house will stop paying the ever rising government tax and strata fee but gives you a more affordable housing while plenty left for buying medical insurance abroad. Saving of 35-45% tax can easily buy a descent plan. Canada is great but the cost of living is far more greater! In long run, Canada will become more occupied by Indians and other third world countries immigrants who like to raise large family to maximize their welfare and send children to school for free. The employers like cheap labour and bigger consumer size so they support Treadue. The foreign students in my company ridiculously work more than study. Bureaucratic inefficiency is also prevailing in many governmental bodies, federal and provincial alike. Large private companies are not much better.

So the poor Canadians are going through what we are in rhe UK, stand strong and keep on the fight i say! We are too soft in our country and don't speak up about the issue but it sticks out like a sore thumb

What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. If u hve decent life in india and has habbit of maid and house helpers so think twice before moving to another country. And oh yes.if u never compromise on medical and doctors service so its v practical don't go there.u hve to be mentally prepared u hve to do lots of adjustment.

love the nostalgic beginning of the video, indeed it is sad how many people are forced to leave Canada simply for a few common factors including cost of living vs quality of living. what is happening to Vancouver is sad too. I've been there for 15 years. Now for a few months in Eastern Europe. quite interesting to compare some things. I forgot how good it feels to not to wait for a check-up with a doctor for many weeks and cancel the appointment in frustration. There are countries where testing your health is much easier apparently. even though I rarely even go to doctors.

It’s basic law, no country will give you rights to stay permanently if you were given a temporary visa. SOP is to justify and confirm that you will go back after studies. Why strikes? Why faked availability of funds through some loans to get visa?

I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I've been in Canada for 13 years and loved the experience until I needed medical attention. Long story but its the worst thing that ever happened to me, it left me witn physical and emotional trauma, I just can't understand how is this a developped country. I barely used any public services until then and it was such a disappointment I don't know where the 50% of my salary is going to ?

Ease of life in Germany is less when compared to other EU countries. In terms of cost of living it is better than EU countries. So it’s a choice . Can’t expect good life. \n\nAlso, expecting foreigners to speak German is insane. Imagine you go to a doctor and he wants you to explain the illness in German and worst part is they know English but wouldn’t like to speak .\n\nWhen Germany say they have shortage of (x)k skilled immigrants, can they accomodate them ? Can they provide kita places for their children ? and other minimum facilities ?\n\nMy opinion, if we know German things can get easy but not all problems shall be solved. My family immigrated here in the 1950s out of war torn Europe for a better life. Things have changed so much since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Toronto was a safe city with a good vibe. Things were reasonably affordable. Trudeau didn't start a lot of the problems, but he massively accelerated them. Government is openly hostile to basically anyone who was born here. They sold out the country to wealthy foreigners. I make a decent income but I still can't afford a house. Taxes are killing me. My doctor is horrible, but I can't find a new one. Civil liberties went right out the window. The people are cold and sullen. Crime is getting bad. Life just feels like it gets a little worse every year. I've been mulling it over for a long time, but might finally be time to head south. There's got to be something better than this, because I'm getting older and life now just feels like going through the motions.

Exactly. Just because YOU have a good salary or job, if everyone around you is collapsing economically then there is ZERO point in staying in that country. I was a PR of Canada until 2017 when I let my PR card lapse and I let go of my PR status. No reason to move to Canada anymore. I have seen too much destruction from drugs and addiction in Canada. The society has rotted from within and the foundation of it has collapsed socially. Doing well for yourself does not help when everyone else around you is on a death spiral morally, spiritually, socially and economically.

Don't bother with the UK, sadly. It's the same here. Mass immigration has suppressed wages and made most of our town and cities look like downtown Mogadishu. I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. JT is truly an embarrassment for this country although the US is in step with comatose Joe. I feel sorry for the kids and many others that are trying to survive, make a living and buy houses. Reverse discrimination has been at play for 20 years or so but is really out of control these days when a white Canadian kid that has got 5 yr honours degree in University has trouble finding a job today because you are the wrong colour. Our national anthem was changed a number of years back for no good reason.
