I was an immigration consultant up until this June 2023. I stopped as I don’t believe in our immigration system anymore. It is not representative and how the government shows itself to be. I would always question skilled workers that have a great life in their country. I cared more about my clients than taking their money. I guess I don’t fit the mold as the majority of consultants will Try to get as much money from you as possible. Good video

Guess I'm doing this alone.

Well, I moved to the UK because I wanted to live there. I guess I never really liked Nigeria and unlike many of my counterparts, I consider leaving Nigeria the best thing to have ever happened to me. What I have been able to do since living in the UK for 8yrs now, none of my counterparts have been able to achieve close. And don't get me started on the quality of life. Each to their own

Simply put, he is wrong to make this assessment having spent less than 3-4 years in the country, is yet to have the qualifications that he came with vetted so he can apply for the jobs he is trained to do, and is still a student. I can understand that due to his age.. (which I guess is 45-55) he is also hard-pressed to settle quick and start making money. He needs to be patient pay his dues and integrate into the system. Racism will fade and he will learn how to deal with it. I wish him well and hope he settles quick.

does this count the illegals ones, which average 7K per day just the Mexico-US border alone. I guess, not. Comparing Google to Shopify is laughable. Should have compared it to both Google.

They are racist too! I guess they are feeling it too!
2023-09-01 0
Sounds like he's complaining about cost of living. But but his example of paying for bus pass? I'm guessing he's expecting that should be provided and free. Or maybe just something you can hustle and not have to pay for
2023-09-01 0
It is heartbreaking if you consider all the single circumstances. But what you expect would happen if its the otherway around?? You guess they would say come in all of you. No - every country would try to save themselves and close their borders.\nThis problem only can be solved with fair distribution of work and wealth.

Good interaction with patients is good, however not having target is a sign of weak system - other patients are waiting. I guess he worked for a private hospital or didn't care about the queue outside. Not being strictly accountable is part of what has wrecked Nigeria.

So I guess this guy will be leaving?
2023-08-30 0
this is ridiculous we should have always had the military guarding these borders. we all know all of this to President Biden first day in office. whether you first man and I guess we're going to house and feed them while we let our own people continue to Live and Die in the street.. now we should Deport them back to their own countries and let them come in the right way. we need to even report the ones that he's already trying to house in this country because God only knows who they are
2023-08-30 0
Guess Donald was right Americans will never learn ?
2023-08-26 0
I am sure its not the security issue; but only the leaders are supposed to walk on the red carpet, this I am guessing.

Support India. India ch corruption boht vadh gyi hai. Please help India. ?? Vapis aa jao. \nIndians are one of the most CORRUPT people on earth. Chalaki, jalan aur back stabbing Indians ke khoon mein hai. This corruption has reached Canada. So I guess these students should keep fighting. What else? Let them have their struggles. Let them have the taste of their own (ELDERS DID NOT DO ANYTHING FOR INDIA) medicine.

America isn't any easier. I have been debating moving out of the country myself. I feel it's already bad and won't get any better. I guess I'll be the immigrant.
2023-08-25 0
Venezuela letting them out, might as well give up some oil too. That’ll help our Government n your citizens interests. But corruption i guess

I have this agent friend of mine who has been pestering me for days now to travel to Canada through this conference program in canada but i have been reluctant to give him my details to proceed with any application, because I'm already preparing myself to come to canada through Express entry, i got my IELTS 6.5 and almost done to submit my application to Express entry pool. I guess i have to follow this part and be patient. Thank you

2023-08-15 0
I guess maybe the Natives should have had border patrol a few centuries ago then they wouldn’t have to try and get back into their homeland centuries later being blocked by same fools who came here thinking it was a free unoccupied land
2023-08-15 0
Little do they know there's NOTHING here for them but hardship!! Lies and more lies by the Democrats!! Guess theyre too busy worrying about Trump and not the country

The arbitrary aspect of the immigration system is the most depressing aspect of living here in the US. I guess when the system was implemented it may have had some use (such as being impartial to everyone by employing a lottery system) but these systems are pretty outdated at this point and only a leverage for political parties to throw gang signs at each other talking about how bad immigration is. I also don’t think anyone wants to solve immigration problems really, I mean even some of the nicest local people I know throw their hands up like “I don’t know” and I think it’s because immigration suffers from the same thing that many other problems suffer from and that is a lack of focus. Illegal immigration takes up so much time and space that fixing legal immigration seems like a daunting challenge and not at all worth trying. If I were a betting person I would never hedge my bets on immigration, I just need to have the time to digest and understand a lot of knowledge about how immigration helps me and my country. It’s honestly up to the Government imo to give it the proper fix it deserves but, again, why bother if it doesn’t help?

US immigration system is broken but it's still the best in western world if you are in engineering, mathematics and tech. I studied and worked in US, moved to India for personal reasons. I realized its difficult to adjust back in India, and US will never let me naturalize, so I moved to Canada. But Canada has hardly any jobs of its own, most of people in tech here work for American companies. In US, even an aerospace, biomedical, virology or genetic engineering person can find job in his/her field despite being on job visa, but in Canada its very tough. \nFew weeks back, I met an Uber driver who came to Canada 4+ years back, mechanical/automative engineer and was not able to find a job in his field despite no need for license with advance education and many years of relevant experience. He became Canadian citizen few weeks back, and guess what, he received 2 job offers in US and was moving to US on TN visa. \nI am myself working on something in Canada that is not my specialization. In US, I can get multiple messages from top government contractors for scientist/researcher positions, but I could not work for them as I don't have citizenship. In canada, despite being a PR, I know many experienced people who are forced to drive uber or do survival jobs.

I think this was a great video. I’m glad you mentioned the difference in wages because what that really indicates is that Canada doesn’t suffer from a shortage of skilled labour if anything we have the opposite: a glut. What we need is more business investment in our economy but the federal government seems completely uninterested in that topic. Well at least for the immigrants that do come here once they get their citizenship it becomes much easier to work in the states under NAFTA so I guess we’re kinda a back door.

I was born in Canada and studied here and it was harder to find a job in Canada than the US. Luckily, TN is far easier than H1B so I can at least work here temporarily. But if I wanted to stay for more than 3-6 years, I’d want to look at a green card. But because TN is non-immigrant, I’d have to stay in the US between applying for a green card and getting it. Luckily, there is not much of a wait for Canadians. And I guess given that H1B people need permission to leave, our ability to leave and comeback however much we want is a luxury (though you could always get a difficult officer)

I can't find anything that fits my budget for housing, I do understand everyone's text. I am so thankful for the U.S. Military and YES! THEY deserve help first and always. My brother was an enlisted Marines during he didn't wait for his number to be called. I have a huge heart. I guess I put myself in others shoes.I love my United States. I'm just sad. So much going on every day . I will always stand up for our MILITARY, if anyone reading My text can probably know I'm sad. I also understand ❤

I guess it's a smart method to prevent a serious problem that most developed nations face: a dwindling population !

Mexican-American war. We both fought a war for nothing I guess. People died for nothing. This is a spit in Texas and America’s face. We can’t find homes or jobs as it is due to what’s already been allowed. Why are we being forced into homelessness and debt due to having to pay for such.

Guess what if I showed this to Canadian people never in their wildest dream to ever claim her. Lol

I live in Canada and while I don't consider it to be perfect whenever I look south and see what is happening there I am so thankful I live here. Maybe the average US income is higher but a hospital stay could bankrupt you. Housing costs are higher. Poverty is higher. Inequality in distribution of wealth is higher. Number of guns per capita is much higher. Taxes are lower. Average lifespan is lower. Prison population per capita is much higher. You win in so many ways... I guess?

Lemme skip to the end and take a guess as to what's actually happening.\n\nIndians go to Canada first so they can get to their final destination, America, faster. Once they're Canadian citizens, they can apply for US green card and travel easily to America in the meantime. They can work and bide their time in Canada while working in America only having to return to Canada every six months or so instead of back to India.\nBottom line:\nEvery foreigner who goes through the trouble to become a US citizen (clearly worth all that trouble) should be absolutely against ALL illegal immigrants who just walk across the southern border and demand to stay.

I’m so sad that you think it’s where you choose to live in the US that keeps you safe from gun violence. I guess that’s how people who have to live there stay positive. Uvalde has 15k people and on and on every day in small and big town America. The problem is weapon access and lack of regulation and a fetish on guns that the US has. In Canada I can live virtually anywhere and be safe. We’re far from perfect ourselves but I don’t even feel safe visiting the US Wild West anymore. No thanks.
2023-07-29 0
You should have defined 'immigrant' at the start. Because at the start I was pretty confused about what exactly an 'immigrant' was supposed to be. I'm guessing you're referring to first generation immigrant only? So that would exclude children of immigrants, that are born in the US/Canada and anything that comes after that?
2023-07-27 0
I thought it might be possible that you found an echo chamber, so I did some quick Googling. Apparently about 2.5% of Canada's immigrants are American, while 2% of America's immigrants are Canadian. Given the approximately 10-1 population ratio, that's a lot of Canadians moving to the US. I guess the Canadians who would move to the US don't hang out on Reddit.
2023-07-25 0
Never. No thanks. America is broken. Very broken. \nToo much corruption. Too many crazies with too many fire arms. \nAnd not a good place to raise children. \nOtherwise, it’s ok I guess ?

Without watching the video, I will guess the results. Canada is better.
2023-07-20 0
I was planning to move to Canada next year. I guess this sums it all up; sounds more stressful than I thought. They don’t want minorities in good colleges and get in high paying jobs even with a phd. Canada is corrupt than the US. They just do it stealthily. Parasites.

incredible and the news doesn’t show this though I guess Trump’s wall was Working , Biden and administration shitting all over American people we can’t let this go on

You know who generally can't work? The sick. Guess what you lose when you can't work? Health care. Make it make sense!
2023-07-19 0
Yes, American citizens need to be taken care of first before we let any more people into the country, but let's keep thinking about this... Why are so many people trying to escape Venezuela? Could it possibly be the cripplingly sanctions the US has imposed on Venezuela for decades? There is no better example of how sanctions don't work and only make the population of the country suffer and not the leaders. Why are people trying to leave Mexico, which is a country where guns are 100% illegal? If you guessed violence from the drug cartels being one of the main reasons, good job. Now, why do drug cartels in Mexico even exist? To supply the gigantic appetite that Americans have. Where are the cartels getting their guns from? Once again the answer is Mexico. If you are someone saying Mexico needs to fix itself, just remember that they have the one of the worst neighbors ever. We have no problem giving Israel $3 billion every year and sending our military all over the world to bring democracy to people who never wanted it, but our neighbors to the south? Fuck em. War on drugs? Lol. That's a war America doesn't really want to win.

I would love to move to US but unfortunately I do not have a career that’s in high enough demand down there to get a green card, and I’m already married so that’s not an option….need to win lotto so I can invest 500k into US business and employee people I guess?
2023-07-18 0
The war of 1812 was fought because Canadians didn't want to be Americans. Guess who won?
