The strain on the public health care system is outrageous and the tables have turned. Canada is sliding into a third world country. Go to the E R department anywhere in your city and look around and see for yourself. Not many English or French speaking people crowded in the waiting rooms waiting double digit hours to seek medical aid. Very grim situation and that is the reality here folks.

Landlords are taking advantage of supply and demand and over charge people. People I guess are saying F you! Were in a housing crisis and there are human rights laws . Peoples fundalmental rights under the code are being violated. I would say class action law suit against Canadian government. They increased immigration from 1x to 4x in a short period of time in a neglience way. I think Canadians are wimps compared to Americans...you know in the US everyone sues. Very different in that way. Here people just suck it up. Too polite and passive. Side note Look at line ups for fast food. Horrible service . No cashiers . You wait forever now and the funny thing is you see people just stand there all the time and accept the garbage service. Its hilarious. In the US people speak up and show feelings and emotion or just walk out. Here everyone is soft. At least every single time I have observed this behavior. Come on people we have to take a stand man. Stop being too polite and stick up for your rights.

As a child of minority immigrants, I do believe that the balance has been overstretched. Also, people coming to any country should want to fully integrate as much as possible. I don't see that going well presently either.

We’re missing half the story. We didn’t see what enabled the customer to react. And inspired him to begin recording. The delivery guy is obviously one of those people we meet, who is an ass, and when he spoke to the customer like that. Is when he erupted. He keeps saying in the video “ you ain’t like that, you ain’t about that life”. Usually people respond like that after being threatened themselves. The delivery man, obviously showed aggression. Im a teenager living in Toronto and its hard seeing rent for my cramped apartment go up when its already hard for family to pay. The only way I think I can be happy is to move away as so many people come in to the country I hold dear.

They put them on boats, send them to Europe and when they return them, they complain that Greece is kicking them out. I been living in el pasonfor 8 years now. And when I first moved here I barely ever seen vagrants or homeless people. During covid it was a ghost town downtown. And now you drive down town it's 100 homeless illegals on every single corner and 40 in between the central park down town can't even see the grass cause so many illegals are camped out shitting on the street and in the bushes. Crime shot up by 300% in just 14 months. It's about to get wild here in the states because millions more illegals are on the way as I typed this

This is SUCH a puff piece completely one sided that dismisses legitimate concerns as the only reason being xenophobic......Canada has always welcomed people but it was done at a lot slower pace where people had a chance to assimilate and build a life. You can't add over a million people a year with different cultures and pretend it's going to be ok. Ignoring the massive housing crisis, it's a culture crisis. A lot of the people coming do not share Canadian values, period. Canadians are noticing a massive change in the country they love seemingly overnight. You go out in any city and you barely see white people anymore. It's jarring. It was made into an amazing country by certain people and now it seems new immigrants are treated better than citizens. Everyone is in favor of immigration done the right way, but that isn't what's happening and natural born Canadians have every right to be upset that the country is being ruined in a way they don't want.

For over a decade now any attempt to criticize legitimate issues with immigration got you branded a racist by the establishment. Outlets like the Guardian have shilled for big corporations who only used immigration as a source of cheap labour. Now that we’re seeing the results in the form of skyrocketing rent and exhausted welfare services, they pretend not to know why people are upset.

My understanding is that people are being played upon again, in-fact the real threat is de-dollorization, about which nobody talks much. As noticed recently through the news, manufacturing is returning back to West from China which obviously will demand skilled labour. Dollar loosing it's value (due to de-dollarization) and once immigrants starts leaving Canada, this will add on to the trouble exponentially, leaving Canada unattractive....When I say, skilled labour, then I mean the real working guys, not the cozy European immigrants. These are my understandings...Lets see how it goes, I am eager to see.

I got laid off 5 weeks ago ( no renewal of contract).. after 7 years working for that NFP.. I applied for snap and unemployment… while applying for jobs( social worker field)… first, they ask for so many documents… including my bank account….( again I was laid off .. not fired nor left my job, nor finding reasons not to work all those years ), department of labor had a mandated zoom meeting to discuss what I needed to do 4 weeks after I was laid off( like i don’t know)… I ve been working for years and paying taxes… a lot of them in NYC, I was also told that I have to show what I am doing to search for work and eventually should take a job( even if the salary is low..ridiculous)… I was also informed that I may get a call from investigator from DOL..they may call individuals receiving unemployment benefits($441 a week after taxes?)… to verified that I was searching and applying for jobs( even though I enter my activities related to work weekly on their website…..)….. meanwhile… people with 0 legal documentation are entering the US and living here, free snap, free housing, free health insurance!!!! Lala land!!!! Can’t wait for this non sense to stop!!! Every corner of NY , you see families begging for money. Food…I feel bad as a human being, but refuse to help or I ll be joining them too… welfare system needs to change too! The politics NEED to change!!!All the best !

After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so. Even USA doesn’t import from Canada. I live in Winnipeg government people are tired of native here just go to downtown you will see everything ?. Like others have said here, most Canadians are not anti-immigration. Most Canadians grew up proud that we live in such a cosmopolitan country. What people are against is the immigration policies of the current Trudeau government which has led to a degradation in public services and contributed to massively inflated real estate values due to the simple rule of supply and demand. There has been a noticeable and real decline in the quality of life for the average Canadian over the past decade. It is genuinely confounding how anyone can continue to support this government. We are seeing our country go down the drain before our eyes.

Honestly as an Immigrant I was definitely lied to by the country of Canada, and tbh this concern is lined with racism to an extent, but there are some valid concern for the most part. \n\nCanadian universities came to me high school, one of the academically successful high schools on my island and tried to take every single high performing student. Honestly immigrantion is an issue for everyone, but it won’t stop until the bigger western countries stop making oppressive laws forcing people out of their country. \n\nThis is not the immigrants problem, Canada is the problem. Also I lived in Toronto, the biggest issue is NOT immigration, the issue is the fact that they are tearing down cultural institutions to build condos. condos are a bigger problem than immigrants. Canada is pricing Canadians out of housing, then blaming immigrants. You guys need to see that for what it is, because a lot of us were lied to, Canada is lying to all of us, its citizens and its immigrants.

I agree with this feeling shared all over. No, for now Canada don’t need a lot of people. The country need to fix this housing problem and fix its immigration policy. It’s insane to see people paying for 900$ for shared bedroom, this is crazy. Fix it first then later you’ll scale up the immigration process again.

A Sri Lankan who always gets misidentified as Indian reading the comments here. ? I moved here with the genuine purpose of studying for my LLM, after considering several countries. I was offered a scholarship from my university (a top ranking public university) I know several of my Indian colleagues who came to study & now work in universities & firms. I know educated people who came here from SL, India & other South Asian countries who came to study with the genuine purpose of studying & now pursuing PhDs here & elsewhere. I understand how concerned the whole immigration issue is for Canadians & new commers like us. I’ve always loved to study in Canada & now that I’m here just to see all these negative sides is truly heartbreaking. I was able to secure a decent apartment & decent job (both me & my husband)& so are my friends & colleagues. I love Canada & means no harm. I’d love to use my knowledge & serve developing countries like mine one day. I kindly request anyone reading my comment, please don’t judge. There’re people who came here to study & love to contribute their knowledge & skills to the world. Thank you.

first i am an immigrant for 20 years. i see the problem has been rising. \nthe problem is not just immigrant, its the overseas students also. Gov try to solve the issue but they are doing it blindly. the problem are those small schools that focus on making school as a business and let people get working visa. \nwe need doctors and nurses so badly. why cant we take more doctors and nursing, have universities specifically train then. we can also have golden visa and wealthy immigrants to come in . we dont just need cheap labour, we also need money. \n\ni cant wait for next election to vote this gov out!

Always wondered why we need a continuously growing population. \nIts a giant ponzi scheme from what i can see. We cant pay the bills for the debt that our governments pile up with their vote buying, virue posturing, corruption, and general squandering of our tax money, so we continuously look for new suckers to buy into our scam.\nJust let the population fall naturally, it will level out eventually. \nGovernments have to stop the social engineering and fix the roads and education system and Healthcare. Immigration reform is one thing, but I don’t see people or the government actively improving the infrastructure or the housing issue. Finland and Singapore have all but solved homelessness but focusing on housing and social programs.

Move to a different province if necessary.\n\nI am Ukrainian myself. I landed in Canada in 2021 and worked on a farm for almost minimum wage for two years. However, I got almost free housing and obtained my PR. \n\nThen I got a better job. There are plenty of jobs in Alberta where employers provide accommodation almost for free or completely free. The job may not be the best, but you can save money quickly. That's what I did. I worked another year for a sewer company, completed my trucking school, and now I have my Class 1. \n\nSome companies even pay for your trucking school, but you have to sign a contract for 1 or 2 years. They might not pay much, but hey, you'll get your Class 1. \n\nYou need to read more forums and talk with more people. Don’t just sit and wait for a miracle.

The ruling class is using immigrants as cheap labor. They don't care about their well being nor do they care about that of Canadian citizens. They want to bring in about 550K each year going forward when people are suffering. They don't build nearly enough homes or rental units. We don't have enough doctors and nurses. We get paid West Virginia wages but must pay California level housing costs. Diploma mills have sprung up like crazy charging $40,000 for worthless degrees. There are not enough jobs that pay even minimum wage. As a consequence many who immigrate to Canada leave after a year or two. Those smiling faces you see in this video are of those who are don't yet know the truth!

Im not sure they all want to go to the US. I Mexico right now, people are all wanting to go to Canada over the US. They can live and work easy in Canada, and the economy is strong. Almost as strong as the US. Most Mexicans know this and plan to go to Canada. This is why most immigrants you see coming to the US illegally are not Mexican

People are unhappy and they are looking for someone to blame. Instead of seeing how the top 1% has increased their wealth, and how inequality has exploded, they have been told to blame the fellow working class citizens that are a shade darker. We know for a fact that a lot of immigrants, legal and illegal, either cram themselves 5 into a single room or end up homeless. Many small towns of 10,000 pop or less who never saw homeless people are seeing tents popping up, rising drug use, theft, etc.

I don’t understand this “reporting”. If I go to Chinatown and become enraged after seeing majority Chinese population I’d say something is wrong with me. Go to a small town in Alberta, Manitoba etc you’ll see majority white people. People in the comments keep saying “Canadian” what is a Canadian. What values do born Canadians (such as myself with Pakistani parents) that other ethnicities don’t have which makes them unCanadian? Crazy the amount of homeless in all the parks that where for children are now being use as camp sites. Children or seniors can't enjoy a nice time now.\nUnemployment refusing to help residents n new people that are student or don't got documents get full financial support but those that live here can't. A solution needs to be made. The amount if crimes going up. People have no respect for canadian rules. Fireworks going on when they shouldn't be. If we can accept the reality than no matter how many measures you introduced you cant stop people from coming here we can focused on preparing when they do. Influx of immigrants means more workers, consumers. Many of these people who can be potential tax payers with none of the benefits like social security. Its a dream for an economy who can see potential guranteed economic growth.
