It's Islamists that are a blood stain on this country where thousands upon thousands of men and women gave their lives for our freedoms and rights but now look at what these people have brought to this beautiful country. It's a lot more negative than positive and its only going to get worse. They've brought grief with them everywhere they migrate to. After this video the good people of Canada have spoken, but who is really listening. It's just a crying shame. Their religion and ideologies are a disgrace not only unto them but unto the human race itself. Where is the goodness of this religion in our society, and where is the respectfulness and productivity when we allow these people into our country. I feel so very sad for this great country's future.

Where is the proof that islam is the 'fastest-growing religion' in Canada? No data are presented, only a blunt assertion. But if the claim is allowed, why is it 'growing'? If only because of migratory displacement from other countries to this one, how is that real growth? No, it is population transfer. Has anyone sought to discover the number of people who are BORN AGAIN TO ETERNAL LIFE BY THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST, something which is difficult to quantify statistically? But then, Christianity as Biblically defined is not a religion or a human institution: it is the truth. Islam is already defeated, because it is NOT of the truth. Does Canada have stricter rules as to which family members are allowed to join the original immigrant?

Facts much? Canada allows anyone to live in Canada for a year on the tax payers dime as long as they submit a refugee claim. The Canadian public is paying upwards of $60,000 CAD for each of these claimants living costs which is more than what many Canadians make in a year. Additionally if these claimants' claims are refused they simply leave for a day, come back and start the process all over again, again getting to live in Canada for a year on the tax payers back. What a great scam.

I'm not from Canada, but I don't like this people to come to western countries to make a living without to get rid of their costumes that are not compatible with ours. Thanks CBC for allowing Asha Tomlinson to work on this video. This is for all Canadians, but most for Black Canadians in Eastern Canada. Cities like Edmonton in particular should be highlighted in this type of videos for their stand on racism. Most cities in Canada are becoming more progressive on racial issues, but Edmonton remains a frightening place for Black people. My message to Blacks in Western Canada is that nothing will change without a challenge. We must stop gossiping about how we are treated and let expose this disease.

It was'nt the Muslims who found and built Canada nor created her economy. Their limited capabilities and views do not allow this.They are not capable of building a free society. I do not see why we cannot get rid of the burka by invoking existing civil law of not wearing a disguise in public.  To hide your identity as a back robber would is not allowed.  This burka is pure craziness.  I will fight against its acceptance in Canada tooth and nail.

Immigration is changing everything about Canada. I want a binding referendum on immigration, but we all know that our corrupt politicians will never allow that. They realize Canadians would fully vote against further immigration.

As a young child I remember viewing the Amish women as being in a chronic 'state of funeral' based solely on their signature dark garb. It created in my own (childlike) logistics that this was a type of society which I needed to keep at a distance from myself. I disliked their choices, finding them muted in a world layered thick in rich and vibrant fields of color. The color black in ancient cultures (apparel) indicates the refusal to acknowledge or be unresponsive, to be closed off. I can understand how many real (natural) Canadiens can view Muslim women in their communities in a strange light. An interview with a very rich Saudi woman (living in Saudi Arabia), in how she spoke of her own frustration by not being allowed to own a drivers license, instead being driven in her husbands pricey Mercedes by a hired driver. She forced this issue on her local, home town government when she attempted to embarrass the officials of this primitive law, which in her view, had outlived its purpose and no longer applied to modern women in her culture. This interview went viral being shown on multi media networks and the town became embarrassed by the exposure. We should all applaud these women for their natural right to be free from outdated ritual and constraints continue to impose these indignities upon women. Muslim women living in Canada who wear the typical dark cloth across the features of the face and over the body are putting forth a message that they are 'second class citizens', are 'less than equal', are 'one mans property' - not unlike a common barn yard animal but possibly owning less importance than an animal since an animal can be traded for goods or services for profit. One can understand how real (natural) Canadien women can view this type of apparel as a slap in the face of their gender, a violent slap to go to the 'back of the line', 'take it lying down and like it'. So much is fear based and these Muslim women should shed their fear as layers of dark folds are sent falling to the floor - once and for all...

My personal thought about the women in this video, good reason they cover their faces, they are butt ugly! That guy with the long beard, I can recommend him a very good Sicilian barbershop, close shave I have issues with what is going on in Canada, the fact I didn't vote for Primister Deerintheheadlights makes me all the more angry, as I feel justified to speak out against the Liberals. I didn't sign up for this. Rushing in 25k more refugees is crazy. I am concerned about the security issues, and the fact the refugees will drain even more tax dollars away from our already fragile economy. Just thinking out loud, what benefit do these refugees have coming to Canada, none. They will live a life of welfare and eventual poverty. Some very few may prosper, and others will turn to crime. I can't see 25k refugees coming to the GTA to work on the railways and build subways or doing construction work. I can't see the refugee women working at anything more than Tim Hortons, if they are even allowed to do so, based on their religion. I have seen it, I live it everyday. Someone, please prove me wrong?

If Muslims in Canada truly do not want non-Muslims to be afraid/distrust their beliefs, they should stop allowing the Muslim Extremists of the World to be the leading voice of their religion.

Then why do they demand their religion only. They try to ban Merry Christmas, alcohol, pork products etc...if they were peaceful they would not make demands to convert. Having many wife's is illegal in Canada, but Islam demands it, you knew before you came here, that we did not allow it, but you force your laws upon every other religion, why?

While I understand the anxiety the Muslim woman in the video feels, her accent is as Canadian as it can be which tells me she probably was born in Canada or came here as an infant. She's obviously had enough time to assimilate. She either has or hasn't. If she has, she's being discriminated against for no other reason than that she's Muslim, which speaks to a mindset that is being espoused by Stephen Harper. When your leader says the things he's saying it doesn't speak well of the country. It would be more honest if he blocked all immigration of Muslims to Canada, but then the Muslims would really have a case if other nationalities were allowed in. Given Canada's small population they're kind of stuck.

The legal inquiry should thoroughly probe the nature of Islam using the written verses of the Quranic hadiths and Islamic commentaries written by clerics and Islam scholars. We demand that if the inquiry concludes that the Islamic agenda violates and threatens our citizen's rights to live freely and safely, then we should seek to ban the Qur'an and Islam permanently from Canada.

To people who say That Canada is their country\nCanadian themselves are immigrants and they were immigrants once. Attacking natives and taking over their land is something that all Canadians should remember. As a older Canadian born and bred, but now in Europe because of marriage, I can see things farther toward the wall than most of you perhaps in Brandon, Thunder Bay, Charlottetown, Whitby, Kamloops, Red Deer, etc. This is extremely dangerous. A few muslims are o.k., as they may assimilate to Canadian values of 'PEACE, ORDER, and GOOD GOVERNMENT'. Yet most do not wish to assimilate, only to remain who they are, ungrateful of the bounty Canada offers them, and holding values against those our country has always promulgated. We have separation of church and state in Canada, and fought very hard for it, with a history of bloody wars in Europe to show for it. It is repulsive how we are allowing a bleeding of immigrants into our country who do not believe in our basic creed. This is not racial. This is not hate-based or prejudice. It is simply defending our creed as a country, from wherever you are, and whomever you are. Canada is worth defending. Where are the feminists on this? Why are you not defending Canada is this debate?

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

How Muslims treat Muslims of a slightly different faith is evidence enough of what they truly represent. help for Syrian refuges is not coming from the middle east.\nshove you excuses pc people.\ncould you imagine Canada saying no to Britain in the last 2 world wars cause your religion is slightly different.\nCountries in the middle east who have the same language and culture as Syria but a different form of Muslim will not allow 1 refuge in, the Religion of Peace at work.

Speaking as a white man I have to admit I don't quite understand the need for anyone to organize as a race in Canada. First generation clubs from whatever country, sure, but as a race? Is it the elephant in the room... American slavery?  I can't help but think that most perceived problems blacks have in Canada are due to American issues we see in movies and media.\nWe in Canada bend over backwards to offer opportunity to succeed. Even touching on racism is widely and loudly crushed. I personally, as do most, give any individual the opportunities they deserve but it's up to them to screw it up or not. To me, if any minority can't make it in this society they aren't trying.\nIt's actually worse in my mind to be white male in public forums because our views and opinions are marginalized and shouted down. Youtube and the internet are the few forums where honest feelings and opinions can be spoken. No one with anything to lose would say this in public for fear of attacks from the thought police. Pretty sad we live in a free country that actually doesn't allow free speech from all.
