It is challenging to be empathetic to these 'students.' I do think Canada should focus on graduating Canadian students with Canadian language skills and getting them into meaningful employment. Many of the TWP jobs can and should be filled by Canadian students who already speak one or both of Canada's official languages. It is getting increasingly difficult to be served effectively in English. French is less of a problem but too often Int Student Grads struggle to communicate in French also.

NO!\n\n-Has the Canadian government made sufficient monthly payments to newly arrived immigrants, including the rent of a house befitting human dignity, adequate food, summer and winter clothing, daily transportation and vehicle fees, communication expenses, equal and sufficient education payments, cultural activities and a daily pocket money to live humanely? ...... NO!\n\n-Has the Canadian government offered newly arrived immigrants a solid, safe and clean society structure where they can live freely without any risks and feel completely safe as individuals and families, without any fear, anxiety or concern in terms of attack or crime? ....... They are students and temporary workers and many used scams to get into Canada. Canada does not owe them permanent residency, Canada's priority should be Canadians

It amazes me why people do not understand that Canada will never stop immigration. Students come here to improve their knowledge and better their career opportunities, not to do low-wage jobs even after having a better degree than most Canadians don't. I suggest students come to Canada for a good degree program either a bachelor's or master's and then find a job in their line of education because you can see the draws happen at least twice a month.

They come as international students, a condition for international studies in Canada (and most of the West) is to be able to afford your studies plus upkeep for the duration of study. However they start complaining about work and visiting food banks immediately they enter the country...moreover shouldn't graduates be going home and support the growth of their country.

Frankly speaking the vast majority of those students from most parts of the world, are not in Canada strictly for an education. Their goal is a Canadian PR and I am not blaming them for that in the slightest.

Canada should stop giving PGWP to the international student because they came to Canada to study not to work, why genuine and talented workers should suffer. I’m the only one TFW working in our store and all the rest is international student.

I have lived in Canada for 50 years, and its important to remember why the TFW (Temp Foreign Workers) were needed in the first place, namely a lot of (wealthy) Fast Food franchise owners were unable to run their businesses due to a shortage of a reliable workforce, the Tim Horton's beside me closed in 2022 due to 100% turnover and poor customer service, and that was the fate of many other franchisees, since White Canadians view the fast food industry as a stepping stone to better jobs, much to the chagrin of millionaire franchisees, and i dont mean that negatively, you have to be rich to buy a franchise licence in the first place, and now they wont even hire White canadians, since they can pay TFWs less than the minimum wage, so it was used as a tool for wage suppression, and the TFWs are viewed as scabs who are helping to keep wages down and that is fueling racism.

Students may be studying in Canada.. But the Canadian govt should not give citizenship.. I am Indian .. so I am worried about our future.. Many intelligent people from India are going out to other countries like USA, AUSTRALIA CANADA for a higher salary... They should use their intelligence to build up India...
