It's a problem and the only way to not see it as one is to remove your head.\n\nI'm down to seeing whatever measures needed to get rid of all if not most illegal aliens. The Democrats have been wrong at every step on this issue and have done but incentives people to come at great peril (Democrats are the ones if who have treated these poor people as political pawns).\n\nThey are also WRONG about it being geopolitical issue in South America. Most people entering the US illegally have not even been from Central or South America (if they are from Mexico they don't even get let in). But from China, Turkey, Ukraine, Pakistan, (not exactly countries that loves us).\n\nThese people have to make it through the Darien Gap and then fend off cartels from ripping them off. I also want to see Trump go after people who helped these illegals get here–not just cartels.

Any politician/corporation/CEO that supports, ignores or enables the breaking of laws, should be considered to be in breach of those laws as well. Any one that makes use of or allows illegal (as in breaking the law) immigration/immigrants should be removed from the post and jailed. \n\nWhy do liberals progressives think they are above the law or that they only need to follow the laws that they want too? I can only hope Canada, the UK, the US and EU see extreme changes to our immigration and protections put in place for citizens and our cultures in the future.

Interestingly enough, the clip where the girl is complaining about having the rent increased by $7000 is not Trudeau's fault (Liberal government) but Doug Ford's, who's Conservative and the premier (like a governor in the US) of Ontario. He removed the limits on rent increases on properties occupied for the first time after Nov 15 2018. So now, if you want make a few more bucks or just kick someone out just jack the rent so they can't afford it and have to leave (usually you can't just end a lease agreement because you want to but not anymore as you can just increase it to whatever you want). Limits exist for a reason unless you're at the top and want to make more without any regard to people that are struggling.\n\nWhat I'm trying to say is that I don't think the Conservatives will do better than the Liberals, they're just different flavours of garbage. We do need real change, unfortunately I don't think it will happen.

As a long time follower of this page... it's time to unsubscribe. You should be able to differentiate between immigration and illegal crossing of the border. I'm a master's student at a top university in the US, my dream is to be staying here LEGALLY and after years of work I want to build my own family and company here. My background is checked before I came here and I'm entitled to the laws here. Unfortunately the situation is really bad with illegals as they have no papers, they can literally go away with everything. They don't pay taxes, they commit crime and don't face the consequences. A guy from my programming class told me his best friend's sister was r*ped by an Afg*n criminal and he's still out in their neighbourhood.

There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

If we don't control our borders and the people that enter a country, then what is the point of having borders? Why is it that only the US and Europe are criticized for wanting to control their borders? I know the answer, but I'm hoping to inspire others to ask the same questions.

Because walls aren’t magical.\n\nTrump plans to terminate programs like birthright citizenship, DACA, migrant visas, green cards, military service….and he’s planning to deport people who were born here, have citizenship, but their parents weren’t citizens at the time, so he’s deporting them. IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. But neither does Trump. Who, BTW married TWO IMMIGRANTS who were undocumented at the time. 4 of his 5 kids were born to an immigrant. Melania’s parents are here through “chain migration.” But, he’s taking that away now, too. JD Vance’s wife is of Indian descent. These are the 2 men who want to kick out immigrants. Undocumented immigrants contributed nearly $100 billion to the economy & social security in 2022 alone. They pay the same sales taxes we do. But they don’t have access to the social programs they’re paying into & they don’t get tax returns. WE KEEP THEM. But sure, let’s kick them all out. Any ONE of trump’s plans is going to cripple our economy anyway. \n\nThings are going to get really, really bad, guys.

How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. If fitting in means doing all those things, then I have questions. I am Cuban. I came to the US legally in 1967. My parents left their families and everything behind in order to give my sisters and me a better life in the freedom and democracy of the US. We flew out of Cuba the day after my 7th birthday. I was young but old enough to see the look on my mother’s face and my grandmother’s face to realize that they new they were never going to see each other again. We left a land ruled by an iron fisted dictator. It was the sacrifice of a lifetime for my parents to bring us kids here and now my sisters can’t understand why I don’t want to talk to them because they have voted for a man who wants to be a dictator, who disrespects women and took away their right to control their bodies(I have a college graduate daughter….what if someday she needs an abortion to save her life because the fetus did not develop right?), a man who is clearly a racist in every sense of the word, who only projects hate and division, but does everything he can for white billionaire men. This Mexican-American woman and my sisters disgust me. My sisters have betrayed my parents and the sacrifice they made.

Trump hates America and wants to destroy us from within.

Since the Canadian government thinks we Canadians born in Canada are all criminals, without a trial in a court of law to determine this, the Canadian government wants to replace us all with brown immigrants mostly from Iran. I guess the crime rate in Iran must be the lowest in the world. That's why most of the immigrants coming into Canada are Iranian. I am currently unemployed and am always the first to get fired while my brown coworkers from Iran remain employed. I really think it's time for affirmative action for Canadians born in Canada. I am getting tired of living with my parents at the age of 55.

What people don't understand is that you can't just start a process in any country unless you have and meet the grounds for starting a process. Each process has its own regulations. Example: For asylum to take place, you have to prove you have a well founded fear of persecution from your home country due to your race, religion, or political opinion. Most of the illegals claiming asylum base on economic hardship, or violence from local gangs, will not win an asylum case. Wanting a better life for your family is not considered valid grounds. The same with legal status: You have to first become a resident which means you have to be petitioned by an immediate family member ( A Parent or sibling with a legal status in the US). Depending who petitioned you, it can be a very lengthy process, up to 26 yrs if your sibling submitted the application! Process is much faster for spouses and kids of US Citizens. Only after several years as a legal resident can you apply for Citizenship. Spouses married to US Citizens is 3 yrs, IF you know english. If you don't you might have to wait till you are 65, when you qualify for the test to be in your native language, but only if you have been a resident more than 20 yrs and so forth. As you can see doing it legally, is a lengthy process, but all these caravans think they can just march in and let the countries accept them without going thru the process and it has caused major problems all the way around. That's why the laws must be enforced to eliminate these invasions!

Something trump supporters and everyone needs to understand is that there is NO application to just apply and come here legally! That’s why her family has been here for 20 something years. Only people that can “apply” are asylum seekers. Anyone from any other country there is no such application. There would only be an “application” is there was an immigration reform that would allow people that want to come or have been here to apply. There has not been immigration reform/amnesty in decades. \n\nI urge everyone to YouTube or go on the uscis website and find this so called application. The only way is either 1. You were born somewhere else and your parents are citizens 2. Enlist in US military 4. Marriage with a us citizen. So it’s not as easy as just applying, if it was there wouldn’t be so much illegal immigration. \n\nNo excusing or saying it’s okay to come illegally, just saying the reason people do it that way is because there hasn’t been and there currently is no process to do it legally.

When Jesus was on this earth he preached in fields and those who wanted to hear listened and those who didn't walked away and he did not stop them and he did not go into pagan temples where people were having sex with animals and tell them to stop it. God gave us free will for a reason. If they walk away and don't want to listen then leave them alone. Leave them alone. Mind your own business. Get a life. I am a U.S. born Mexican-American. This woman disgusts me. My father was a decorated WWII veteran. He, too, was a U.S. born citizen, as well as my mother. We never had much. One thing they both taught me was to help people who had less than we did. I look mexican, yet when I open my mouth, I don't have the accent my parents had. I have been targeted by random people just minding my business running errands. I have on occasion stuck up for my fellow Hispanic when I have seen them ignored and mistreated. I'm a latino straight from South America and I'm very happy. I REALLY don't get what you american liberals think of us. The only reason we are willing to leave our countries to live in the US is because you have a country where we can thrive. In order to go to the US, we go through the process and apply for visas and the green card. That's being honest. We don't want the country filled with illegal immigrants who jump the border. We left our countries in an honest way and we want the borders strong, so we can still have a country where we can thrive. Is it really hard for you to understand that? I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.
