I moved here from Wales 5 years ago. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many country’s around the world and I’ve honestly never seen anything like Canada. Most days don’t even meet Canadians. My boss is Indian, my land lord is Indian. I went to service Canada to update my driving licence and there was about 150 young indain students queuing up around the mall. When I’m lucky enough to strike up a conversation with a Canadian (born here) they seem beaten down and can’t believe the change in last 10 years…. Heartbreaking

1. Here in canada they have s2pid tax bracket. I dont pay taxes from my birth country for people like me who work abroad.\n2. This is because Canada made asylum is the easiest option to get permanent residency. While harder for the students. Most of those int' students were completely fine back in their home country. Now theyre making a 100% false story, false documents to get their asylum approval. Allowing asylum claim for everyone, providing benfits for the claimants and ultimately giving easy approval is direct injustice to the students who studied, paid tuition, worked hard during PGWP. Making everything easier for the fake refugees encourage those false / unqualified / half-qualified students to claim asylum.

Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Who will do Uber… Please dont hate, just like any human we would love to be respected and we are not going to take back anything from Canada. Thank you

Many immigrants were promised a prosperous country but have instead encountered challenges such as a housing crisis, rising cost of living, opioid addiction and homelessness issues, inflation, healthcare strains, high unemployment, high taxes, and a declining standard of living. \n \nNotably, Canada is technically in a recession, and without the influx of money brought in by immigrants, the country's economic struggles would be more apparent. The economy appears healthier on paper due to foreign investment and spending, but underlying issues persist. While immigration has significantly impacted Canada in multiple ways, the responsibility lies not with the immigrants who were overpromised, but with the Liberal and NDP governments that have underdelivered. I appreciate your balanced view of the complicated situation. I have met so many Indians who contribute everyday to making Canada an even better place to live. So thank you. I too blame the government for ignoring the social consequences of such a large influx of immigration in too short of a time. But mostly who I blame are the brokers who are scamming hard working and hopeful young people to come over to Canada and are ripping off them and their families.
