I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. I hate the bad, but I can see the good despite what our media tells us. However, the system is beginning to collapse, and the average US citizen needs to see it.

My income is below that and i do have a mortgage and have bought a house!\nHowever, the overall issues you pointed out are correct, they are indeed a big problem here. What's the value of a human life in india. You don't have footpaths to walk, cars will never let you cross the road. There is no pollution free air to breathe. Only 10 percent of indians can afford car. More than 70 percent of Indians live in poverty. You talk about excellent hospitals in India, but that's only for the rich and middle class people who can afford it. Have you seen the state of affairs of government owned hospitals?. Also let's talk about work life balance, India has one of the worst work life balance. Is this the sort of life you want to live. Canada might have issues but every country has issues. Work in India is strssful and on top of that travelling to work, u don't get autos, buses and trains are super crowded. Have you seen trh state of traffic in bangalore?. And talking about buying a house, houses are not affordable to buy by a common man in metro cities. You think a common man can afford houses worth 1 cr and above? I can keep on talking but please get your facts correct before demeaning other country.

I am living in Canada from last 5 years and lived in 3 different provinces ontario, Manitoba and now in Winnipeg. I have plenty of information regarding child health care, women health care, pregnancy issues and housing as I bought house couple of years ago. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. If you need to see a specialist like dermatologist or orthopedic, average wait time here is 6 months. \n\nRents :- Canada population has increased by over 1 Million every year in past 3-4 years due to libreal immigration policies. However, the goverment did not take any steps to accomodate these people. To give context, Canada has built houses every year to accomodate only 300K people. That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago. \n\nHome Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home. \nBy the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year. \n\nCrime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years. \n\nTaxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. So in hand they only get around $53k, plus they pay 13% additoanl tax on groceries, clothers, insurance, absoulte everything.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country. \nI always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!! \nIf anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. And if you have already booked your flight, all the best….its going to be extremely tough.

Let’s imagine that you have a medical condition called canadasia. There is a knowledgeable community of physicians that can really help with canadasia disease. But there are lot of crack doctors on YouTube who claim they know everything about canadasia because they have watched lot of videos and articles on canadasia. Would you take your advice from the crack doctor or approach someone with the right qualifications? Today’s young generation is looking for all their solutions on YouTube and that has caused crack doctors to proliferate. What does YouTube do? They are now down ranking the videos of the crack doctors to show content from more reliable sources. But when it comes to arbitrary things like going to Canada how does Google know how to down rank bad videos by people claiming to be expert on these subjects? Please do your own research and choose reliable sources is all I have to say to the youth of today.

We lived in Canada for a while , we did buy properties and thought we will settle here but thank god we got some sense that this is not a sensible country and we have lived in many country’s and let me say this - there’s no country like India and we have come back ??????️ also our key places or theertha kshetras are in India and we don’t want to bring up a kids in western way and I want them to be true Hindu in every sense.

Let me tell you about my healthcare experience. My girlfriend got hurt in the head at her work and we went to hospital just to make sure if it is alright and nothing serious had happened. Sounds alright if you are in India. Here in Canada, little did we know, in the emergency ward there was only one doctor, treating on severity basis and it was taking more 6hrs just to wait there in the room to even meet the doctor. And people of Canada says it is normal waiting times. I swear to god this came from a guy who was sitting in front of us in the waiting room of emergency ward in a hospital patient’s robe ? with a dripper attached on his left hand! I truly missed Indian healthcare at that time….

The blunt truth is that the majority of ostensible international students from India coming into Canada happen to be from the state of Punjab and are Sikhs. The state of Punjab is the educational dregs of India as it is mostly agricultural. What is happening is this influx of so-called students from Punjab are in fact hooligans and come to Canada in the guise of being students. But are in fact here to become permanent residents by hook or by crook. This phenomena is a recent development since 2020-21. Prior to that the students who came to Canada from India were genuine students that is why Canada did not see the problems from so-called international students from India prior to 2020-21. Canada really needs to screen carefully for both academic credentials as well as English language facility. These so-called international students cannot speak basic English. How in the world are they going to actually fare in Canadian post-secondary education let alone at University level. Canada is now facing an influx of these hooligans and they ALL need to be deported back to India.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

I’m a Canadian and my wife is an immigrant for Punjab and even she thinks this is all getting out of control. She came here to start a new life with me after we met and to get away from Indian culture which she thinks is now seeping into everything. In India it’s survival of the fittest, one must do everything they do and take advantage of everything in order to scrap by. Canada and the Canadian mindset isn’t equipped to handle that, so it’s no surprise you’re suddenly seeing Indians everywhere who are telling Indians back home how to exploit the systems to get more money fast. Hijacking what systems Canadians have to gain the social mobility that they can’t have in India but in doing so they’re making it like India. They don’t respect any other culture than their own my wife won’t even step foot in Brampton because it looks, sounds, and even starting to smell like India. And the problem is being exasperated because these people who are from very tight families are trying to bring their whole families too people who are elderly with no literacy or language skills to integrate into Canadian society to work and contribute to the economy so they just live off of their children who came first. I’m not racist all of my friends are international and are of one ethnicity or another and I’ve been to India and love the country it’s beautiful with amazing food lol, but this is getting too much out of hand and we’re letting in the most cut throat Indians in who will exploit everything and step on anyone to get on top. They won’t even respect Canadian laws and customs. We’re not equipped to deal with them

You need to make your own country a better place to live and stop sh*tting all over Canada trying to make it your little India. We don’t come to your country to make it more Americanized. Anyone who's in Canada, there's going to be mass protests across the country on Canada Day against mass immigration. It's called Take Back Canada and they're happening all over the country so take a look at which ones are happening near you and get out there, let's do more than just comment on Youtube and actually show our governments we won't tolerate this destruction of our country! I think Canada should shut it's borders completely NO IMMIGRANTS at all except the most severe cases for asylum. Once we get back on out feet get housing, unemployment and our budget balanced better then slowly look at what Canada needs. Our university students can't get jobs because we aren't trained personel. I am no fan of immigration from India, but the measure must be on per capita basis. If there is 3X migration from India, compared to, let's say Iran, it is basically Canada is setting 6X LENIENT immigration conditions for IRAN, given that India is 18 times that of Iran. \nIn countries like Germany, there are double as many from tiny Kosovo, as India and China taken together. I do not see debate on massive immigration from Kosovo in Germany.

Who were in Canada before white people migrated there? The Indigenous people went from being the ethnic majority to getting wiped out and white people claimed the country as their own. Colleges introduced fake or low quality courses with no future and immigration office kept on accepting the visas. \nIf only they were vigilant enough to see what the courses were about. I was told that in many courses, students are just studying online and working for full time. Part was legal work and part was on cash. \nY was CRA not active about the cash activities going on around canada ? \nAnd now govr has again introduced this permanent visa on arrival for caregivers. Does govt think people are going to continue working in the caregiver field after getting there PR. Is govr going to keep a check on where the salaries are coming from in bank accounts of those who were given PR on arrival as caregivers ?\nThere are a lot of questions. Policies shouldnt be made on the basis of just trying to solve the recent problems, but rather with long sightedness to keep future similar problems at bay.

Close the doors for ten years please. Let the housing market catch up as well the job market. If you come to Canada be prepared to work non stop like a slave to feed yourself and get a good tent while you are at it.

Mass immigration from the Punjab are the cause for all of the problems in canada. Inflation, homelessness, housing prices, our falling dollar, remove all the immigrants they let in in the last 8 years and canada would be in far better shape.

I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone..
