Canada, like Australia and etc., faces a fundamental issue that makes it reliant on—or even more severely, dependent on—immigration. Of course discussing this fundamental issue is inappropriate for Canadians. The housing crisis is not caused by immigrants. While you can criticize immigration policies, they are merely the straw that broke the camel's back. It's similar to inflation; like, even if it remains at 2% per year, we will still experience the peaks and troughs of business cycles, just less intensely. Sure you can have a public housing program, where does that money come from? More and more tax money. Having to work harder to only end up with paying more taxes for those who either did not have the opporunities or didn't work as hard (who cares what the actual reasons are), just feels like a ripoff.

It crazy to me that they would do anything to come over here but soon as they commit that crime and they scared, they run right back to their country to avoid prosecution. Im not racist and im all for making a better life for my family but go thru proper channels and to be honest we've reach full capacity. ....sorry

IF Canadians did this to America, you don't think they would send us back . Charge us or arrest us.. if it's good on one side of the BOARDER can we just come over with out pass ports.

Yall are coming to canada and we are trying to get out. You are not doing yourself a favour by coming here, this is not the same country it was years back. People here have become more american; rude, disrespectful, overly egotistical, our streets arent safe anymore, car thefts at an all time high and no one talks about the amount of random acts of violence coming from the homeless in my area, housing prices surging YoY by atleast 11%/year. Cost of living has increased 4-10x on certain things in the grocery stores. I love how everyone thinks their country is great till it isnt then flood somewhere else and bring all the issues and problems with them

Basically these kind of things happen when the economy is starting to go south, more crimes and scams are coming as the situation get worsen. This new era of chaos begins back since covid time, and will probably last for this decade. Hopefully, i am all wrong on this. Now is not the time to have secondary properties as an investment option when fed fund rate still around 5 % despite upcoming rate cut, and this is the time to keep investment conservative, budget tight and spending under constraint, in hope, global recession will be on soft landing.

Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. Forget about GOD can't be surprised when he forgets about you. That said Australia is not much better and getting worse by the day. The reason govts love immigrants is because they bring money in and are obivious to the local politics so the govts simply continue to introduce more and more corrupt policies every year. Even after they become citizens they remained divided on political thought because they tend to have a duality of mindset which says, if it all goes bad I will go back to where I came from. Meanwhile the local population is so busy applauding a PM like Trudeau who leagalises pot so they can be so stoned while there country is stolen right out from under them. The country always gets the govt the country deserves. Place your faithin JESUS CHRIST for he is the only one who can save you, not a corrupt govt. Y’all need to stay where you are and if it’s so bad.. band together and fight back to fix said problems!! That’s what we had to do when things got outta hand!. We had to fight a revolutionary war and the a civil war after that, in order to have the country we have, or at least had until recently… That’s what everyone else needs to be doing in their own country!.. Fix your own problems, don’t just give up and run here, because that’s the easy thing to do… We don’t want y’all from all these other countries. Not trying to make your problems, our problems too!! Similar issues here in the US, only ours are pouring in over the southern border with Mexico. Hardly any speak English nor have any real interest to, as well as no interest in assimilation. They live in their own little communities surround by their own kind, 90% being illegal as hell. We have immigrant problems of the less legal type here. They just come on over. Parasites upon our welfare system, the left takes advantage of them as future D voters & to bulk up their delegates which are based on population. Look at the sanctuary cities. Overrun with crime. But when we ship them to marthas vineyard or nyc or dc, where these wealthy leftists reaide, then oh no suddenly theres a problem ? they dont want them in their own cities their own back yards. F'ing hypocrites. It really does give evidence to the great replacement theory. Look it up if you don't already know. Theres a very real reason for all this happening the way it is.

This is just as harmful for new immigrants coming in, as it is for existing Canadians who already live here. This is a country of immigrants, so when the people who push back on this flooding of the country are called racists for it, it's a bold-faced lie. No decent Canadian is anti-immigrant, but they are against a planned demolition of the nation.

What I find very strange is that immigration is an issue ONLY in the western world . In other countries it is not and mainly because if you are a foreigner you will always be a foreigner so things are clear from the start . \nSo as a foreigner you will have to put your kids in private schools , get a private health insurance etc …basically you will have to do what the wealthy locals are doing , difference is that they could use the public services but they don’t . \nAnd so for if you cannot afford to bring your family (also the type of visa you get will tell you if you can ) then you come by yourself , make your money and go back home . So the system automatically regulates itself . Simple .

Canada’s quality of immigrants has gone down drastically over the years. That is the truth. While the US has upheld their standard, Canada seems to have slacked in that. That is the problem. You need quality immigrants coming in who can integrate without having to assimilate. You can maintain your cultural identity but also integrate into Canadian society similar to how the US allows. Canada I hope you get your immigration policies back on track. Your American neighbors worry about you.

Back then my parents needed to prove and bring certain assets as part of the requirements. \n\nNow it seems they don’t really care, just come in with nothing, and the first thing to figure out is how to get the gov to pay out to sustain.\n\nHow this change came about… got no idea. \n\nAnd when looking at it culturally, that has changed as well. Being Chinese, we brought along our traditions. Those were celebrated and introduced to other Canadians, and it was a joyous thing. That being said, Canadian culture should come first and foremost. That should be understood. You are living underneath someone else’s roof, you should learn their culture and accept it. If not, why are you there.\n\nNowadays, it feels like it is a right to alter, and place your original culture above that of Canada’s. That’s just weird. Why don't the president of Mexico stop this??? I'll tell you why, or what Mexicans man told me. He said, Biden ask him to stop these people from coming to Mexico then coming here. He said he could, but would not until Americans agreed to give each Latin country in the world 2 million dollars every year or every year. He said if not he was going to let them flood America until they take it. He goes back and forth from Mexico to America. I don't know how true this, but this is what he told me. I am an immigrant myself , cameto canada 15 years ago from India as a student. Back then we dint come to get PR but to improve our skills , there was really only 4 universities we all came to UoT, mcgill, Uof A and BC, to do our postgraduate studies in engineering, medicine and business. We applied only when we got full or partial scolarship….. i now work in a canadian base cmpany as mid level engineering manager. .. the quality of indian students coming in has gone down …kids enrolling in diploma mills and their strategy is to work in tim hortons, because the paid 25 k for tution they are entitled to pr and a job … crazy

These people are not migrants, they are opportunists. Here in Canada we watch daily on news people escaping from US crossing the border. I guess in New York migrants can get prepaid card for some time and then authorities cut them off and migrants come back to Canada for canadian money, it's a revolving door

Because people are tired of others coming here to set up camp and collect government money they do not integrate they refuse to learn the language and complain about everything, they then send what little extra money they do have back to their own country and do not spend it on ours.

It's multifaceted. Liberals opened up the flood gates with policies making it very easy for people to immigrate to Canada and increased immigration numbers. It's no longer tied to what Canada can support based on services, resources, and housing. It's simply: Come on in. Second, I've watched a few videos on Youtube showing how immigration is almost a form of trafficking at this point. Immigration companies are making money hand over fist promising the moon to students and people who want a better life and when these poor people get here they end up in crowded lodging with horrible job prospects. A lot of this goes back to the government laxing immigration policies and not being firm on how much we can bring in. This tsunami of immigration has impacted health services, governmental services, and the lives of Canadians. We need to do this smart or not at all. It's frustrating and the frustration needs to be put where it's due, on government and policy but it's also impacting the people and community around us. :( It really isn't the Canada of 10 years ago.

Honestly Canadian dream looks scarier than American dreams\nBefore coming to Canada in Nov 2019 I used to work in Singapore for 7 years. After migrating to Toronto I gotta do extra part time. Job to make the ends meet. I was blessed with so many part time jobs but they were all survival jobs honestly. After few years I returned back to Singapote to retry my luck here again and I got a job doing gov project.

I had immigrated to Canada 34 years ago , my Canadian husband had to wait 2 years before immigration granted me visa . Nowadays it is so easy to come to this country as long as you have 20000 dollars and faked student visa , you can work instantly once you arrive. I think Liberal Party is so desperate for vote from new immigrants . I think after they graduated, they have to go back and apply for permanent visa just like the others. This way we will get quality not quantity immigrants.

I was coming back from Hong Kong recently with a layover in Istanbul. Half the plane was allocated for a group of smelly migrants following signs for TSA trip. That half of the plane was trashed when they left. When I got to O’Hare, more signs for TSA TRIP.

I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?
