Most of these students are not here to study but get permanent residency if not full CanDian citizenship. They must return home especially the ones from India as soon as the school year is done.

Some universities should close to save taxpayers' money. There's a lot of overlap. Some schools are diploma mills,...Some university graduates have no jobs...The role of immigration is not to supply universities with students...

Stop calling it International Student, there's nothing International about it. Look up the definition.

Problem is not immigrants but government giving visas in bulk. Now the country is overfloded with students and tfws. \n\nThey aren't able to control this so now immigrants are paying the cost.

The Law states that International Students MUST be DEPORTED if they do not leave within 2 weeks of completing or ceasing their educational programs. Legally Deporting illegal residents is the best thing for everyone.

Shouldn't domestic schools focus on educating Canadian students? Post secondary education wages have become bloated off international funds and Canadian students can't afford the debt to go to our own schools anymore.

International students come here to study. Why would they work instead of studying? You should cancel the part-time job policy for international students.

It just show that these people are not right to Canada if they can’t do this while a TFS or students and not following the rules and law this will be a big problem in the future. In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

No more immigration and international student from India, they are already too many here.

To all the Canadian people criticizing International Students, why do your Universities push their agents in India to send pamphlets, posters, brochure and advertisement almost every day back home in India. You guys in your heart know that your universities are run by the money accumulated from the hiked fees of the international students and if they stop coming, all these so called universities and colleges will be shut down.

It not anti indian policy.. international student are not all indian .. there is other country citizen that are also not allow to get work permit as well . let not play the race card now.. indian act like you are alway are special.. when apply for your student visa there were term and condition.. and one of the term is that once your visa expires you must LEAVE the county. You guys are not entile to any rights because you guys are a guest in the country... if you want fair treatment maybe stay in your country and study there because your a indian citizen ... nobody care about how much money you lost .. it was a gamble and you knew the risk and once your visa expiry you must leave.. there is no where in your student visa that states that you will automatic PR once you finish.. also the government of canada has the interst of the canadian citizen FIRST because we been paying tax our whole lives here while you guys only be paying for a year or two and you think u shoukd have all benefit that canadian is entiled too. This is not a race issue ,, the problem yes is the canadian goverment is stupid but also indian greedy mentality so where you guys take advatage of your own people by paying low wages..

The caregiver program should go through reform. With the current immigration law with giving the caregivers Permanent Residency putting a lot of pressure on the employers who are working hard and paying taxes to bring the caregivers in Canada. The caregivers are taking advantages by exercising their rights as soon as they lands in Canada. Where is the protection for the employers who are working round the clock to bring the caregivers but the caregivers are abusing the systems and goodwills of the employers. The caregiver program should be like it was before when the caregivers needed to work here for 10 years to get the permanent residency. Otherwise it is becoming difficult for the employers to retain the newly hired caregivers under the new program as the caregivers are getting PR as soon as they lands. Employers need protection. Employers brings caregivers from foreign lands and as soon as they arrive the caregivers can quit and change employer and start exercising their rights as PR - it has to stop to protect the employer because of the employers hard earned money and goodwill they can land here, employers should not suffer for their goodwill and needs.\nWe Canadian employers need workers not the abusers.\nThe caregivers should be brought in temporary work permit and sent back or give PR after 10 years after they contribute to Canada but not award them with PR as soon as they land. Otherwise the lack of workers in this field will never be fulfilled. Many people from poor countries like Philippines are waiting eagerly to come even with low wages, because the money they get is huge compared to any third world countries.\nThis is not justice to indian students who came here to study are preparing to contribute are being sent back.

You are *students visa* holder You do not have any right to become legal Canada residents if you using fake documents to apply the students visa. It is challenging to be empathetic to these 'students.' I do think Canada should focus on graduating Canadian students with Canadian language skills and getting them into meaningful employment. Many of the TWP jobs can and should be filled by Canadian students who already speak one or both of Canada's official languages. It is getting increasingly difficult to be served effectively in English. French is less of a problem but too often Int Student Grads struggle to communicate in French also.

Greediness of Canada to get foreign students money from fees. Lot of revenue for government. Indians are foolish to go to a beggar country who want to earn money from Indians

Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. This world is so closely connected and it can not be operated by rules. You need to understand the reality and work with empathy.

When you finish school, go back home and use what you learn in Canada to prosper your country.. Student visa should only for studying not for work or residency..

“International students” who are not really here for studying, there should be a law that requires them to show their transcripts and attendance sheets in order to actually prove they’re here for education… not just to work full time, bring family over, not follow any of the municipal, provincial, federal laws, etc.

So....let me get this right. You go to a country as a student & want to remain in the country forever. The government of the country that you’re not a citizen of makes policy changes inline with the demands of the people of the country & you go out to protest ? Canada's International student program was exploited by those whose real intention were to become economic migrants. Agents in India who signed them up to many bogus collages lied to them and said that it was a path to Canadian citizenship, which what totally false. This loophole caused the number of International students to increase from 230,000 a year to over 850,000, with most of those causing the dramatic increase to be from India. Indians scamming other Indians, exactly like in India. The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau was incompetent in allowing this fraudulent behaviour to continue too long and it's why this whole mess happened. About 500,000 young Indians wasted their money and should have never come to Canada in the first place.
