No wonder many Canadians are leaving. We have one more opportunity (2025) to correct the course of this nation. ??

This country seemed like a paradise when I was growing up, our family had a doctor, we could get healthcare access quickly, my parents bought a beautiful home for cheap, and my dad started a successful company, while my mom was able to stay home and raise us.\n\nThese days both partners need to relentlessly work to even afford a place where raising a family is extremely difficult, healthcare treatment takes hours of waiting, and costs of basic services are through the roof. In BC we have only 1 government-run car insurance corporation, and they charge me $500 a month for my work vehicle, despite me having a nearly clean record.

The only question is how big is this bubble going to grow before it pops!

They will have many children and use the welfare system to grow in the US. \n\nThe amount of disrespect they display here and demands needs to be done in their country to fight back. \n\nUS needs to help us first before they spend funds they take from the us to give to others.

Let them in. They will build the housing we need. Right now for every 5 contractors that is retiring we're replacing them with only 2. They will pay taxes. They will be afraid of losing their green card so won't even speed. Their children will get educated in America and grow up to help keep social security solvent. They will make us stronger. While this is never the first line of defense in an emergency, understanding how to manage medical emergencies (high infections, deep wounds, pneumonia, asthma attacks, shock, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, poisoning, radiation sickness, torn ligaments, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding) while you wait on help can be life and death. \n Food, water, temperature control are your highest priorities. If faced with a major event where services are limited for more than 3 days, having stored food as well as a way to cook, a way to filter and store water, and a way to keep yourself cool or warm can be life altering. \n\nPlease remember as we are entering or for some of us are already in uncertain times, having this foundation gives security as well as lowers stress. It allows us to feel more in control and gain a more positive perspective on not only our lives but the world. Hear me out!...Navy training base along gulf coast,National Guard training base along the border,Army training base along the border,Air force training base with thermal drones to support border forces,etc.Now our 18-22 year olds are trained,stationed,and not listed for active duty till 22 along said bases.Expand border policy and house them in temporary barracks till vetting.In meantime our youth can be trained and we can use the workforce while finding/training job skills,speech,and humanity.We can use the workforce for jobs us entitled Americans take for granted and also understand as a Hispanic male we don't fuq around give a man a job and see him grow instead of steal.

Where are these millions of new immigrants going to work? Since the election of Liberals, Canada has had the slowest growing economy in the industrialized world! The world expects Canada's lacklustre performance to continure for the next 20 years. So are these new immigrants coming with suitcases full of money to invest in new companies? Are the skilled tradesman coming from developed nations with similar building codes and material or from countries that build houses without any codes or inspection? Do the Medical Doctors receive the same education as 1st world doctors or are they like doctors in most developing and 3rd world countries where they enter medical school straight from Grade 11 and graduate 4-5 years later with a medical degree and their medical experience is all with 3rd world diseases? OR what is more likely is that these new immigrants will have to go back to school (paid for by Canadian taxpayers) to bring their education and skills to the minimum level of Canadians? It will take the average new immigrant 6-10 years before they are making a net positive contribution to the Canadian economy. This would be affordable if our economy was outpacing other industrialised nations OR if we had fewer immigrants but this is a strategy for bankruptcy. My prediction is that the Canadian dollar will be $0.60 USD within 5 years or less. My recommendation is start moving your savings and retirement funds to the USA.

The things Americans need to know is that our population needs to grow a lot to compete with the Chinese and India. And governments know this and prefer to have these folks come illegally because it’s cheaper labor for everyone. Not everyone can just be considered an asylum seeekr bec of too much crimes in their countries. Grow up! Crimes happen evrywhere ieven in the USa. So if our attitude is just to let everyone come in for free to our country because their own governments are unable to fix their law and order problems, we are fkd as a nation. True asylum seekers were vicitms of war like vietnam war, Ukraine, Iraq, afghanistan (bec our own US govt caused all the strifes). African countries with civil wars. gang or drug crimes dont count because those are also our problems here in the US. If you work in a hospital like me, you will realize that the illegals crossing the borders (i think they have more sophisticated means now) bring their whole families including very sick ageing parents, disabled family members. And guess what, we are taking care of everyone of them more than our own citizens. I have no problem helping people but if our government shows more biases and leninency to the illegals more than the US citizens/legal residents, then I find that problematic. My heart breaks when the social worker would pressure me to discharge frail, sickly aging pts within nte 48 hour time frame bec medicare wont cover them and they are not eligible forrehab facilities as their status are observationinstead if inpatients while the non-citizens can just drop their chronically ill family members bec they cant take care if them as they are all working. They wont even claim them bec they are “busy”.\nThey can just do whatever they want as they dont have to worry about paying for hospital bills or have credit companies go after them. We are also taking care of their US born children but they are not paying taxes. Our co’untry is in the brink if bankruptcy bec of misplaced sympathy. If we really want to help these people, give them work visa so they can be legal and taxable, or better help their countries to help with drug wars, etc. We cannot sustain these kind of unconditional financial bleed for so long. Before we know it, the whole population outside the Us, have transplanted themselves here for free and without fiscal responsibilities.

I wanna give my two cents as a Jamaican who lived in Canada,Germany and the us for me i wanna see the us is better interms of making money. It's better to get around , open business, hustle it's have that go-getter capitalistic mentality, Canada and Germany are similar. In Germany its haaaard to get anything done and bureaucracy will end you. Canada is a bit better and less bureaucratic. The us is a play ground filled with variety of everything and did I mention how easy it is to make money. Canada and Germany habe similar health system but in Germany things get done quickly, the us system is good if you have money. Racism is in all three but Germany and Canada are kinda not in your face, Americans will be in your face though, to me i prefer the america racism at least i know who to be aware of but in CA and ger you don't know who your enemies are because they will smile with you while not liking you. For kids it's like this , i would raise my kid in Germany because they have the kids are so well mannered and well behaved but i will let them experience american high school . Canada is waaay more peaceful , Germany cleaner. The bottom line is if you are a young ambitious Person the us is for you, but to retire I'll choose Canada but let my kids grow in Germany.
