Or are you saying the Nigerian youths who marched out that day because they dream of a greater nation are also unpatriotic? Its not a question of loyalty, when you don't feel valued or even safe at the minimum by your own people, so why try to guilt trip anyone? If your current vision of Nigeria is from as recent as 2015, I assure you that the Nigeria of 2022 isn't even close, maybe you need to go back home, earn in local currency and live there for awhile to understand their perspective. Home or abroad everyone can still contribute to the development of their country, so let people be. Lets avoid guilt tripping anyone because they've made choices they are fully entitled to.

I can have my patients have MRIs or CT scans within 2 days if they need is there a giant . What you need is Doctor Patient Advocates. The cost of living  is the money needed to sustain a certain comfort level in a location. The cost of living covers basics like housing, groceries, taxes, and healthcare. Some countries have a very high cost of living particularly in areas surrounding large cities. For example, in the USA cities like New York and San Francisco have a very high cost of living, while areas such as rural Mississippi,  Kansas or Oklahoma  may be notably more affordable . Moreover, no matter where in the U.S. (or the world) one lives, costs may be lower still—or even higher—in another country. Some nations have a very low cost of living. Canada is still one of the world's best countries to live in.

I left Canada years ago and haven't looked back - the taxation is over the top! Not to mention the simple joy of going out to eat/drink, then you need to add taxes (3 of them!) + tip! The heathcare system is also a bit of a false economy - long wait times for doctors, emerg etc. The weather during the winteris challenging. Not even mentioning Trudeau.. nice to see the reality being shown. Well done.

The truth is that if Nigeria doesn’t get better, even the few that said they will return back home will never return. Cos if you plan to come back in your old age, have you forgotten that old age is a time when you desperately need good health care to ensure you live a healthy life? who will provide that good health care if you are in Nigeria? So I tell you people, if this country Nigeria don’t do better, no one will be returning. Cos you can’t work all your life in the US or Canada only to retire to a shit hole country to die, no one will do that. They will Stay back in a developed country to claim and enjoy their retirement benefits. I know their hearts will forever be in Nigeria but their bodies won’t. It’s quite unfortunate.

If you already used to life around friends and families back home Canada is not for you. Quite frankly Canada is for natural born loners.\nFact, You will definitely feel more at home in the u.s than Canada mainly due higher immigrants population.\nIf you moved to Canada as a teenager or was born by immigrants parents then Canada is for you. I have not traveled abroad. I yearned to. But, I have got to a stage of life when I see many things we want are not what we need. I hope many of our people see this. It is not just Canada. We are eventually miserable when we move away from our Natural Habitat. We get shattered one way or the other. Afrikans should wake up and rebuild our Motherland. I appreciate you, ladies. You both make valid points about Canada. I am 2nd generation Canadian. I do feel like its expensive here and Even I have a hard time landing a job. (Recently got laid off from my career job, they said I didn't have enough experience to work there). My friends who aren't single and live with their partner, have an easier time living here compared to people who are single & living by themselves. \n\nNight life is boring here. However, daytime life specially in the summer is better. I feel like Canada is more for an outdoor person. Depending where you live, there are beaches, mountains, trails, & lakes to explore. Some parts of Canada even look tropical! We have hot springs here as well!\n\nFor the leisure & work life balance, I feel like that depends on the person. I used to work 2 jobs (not because I was bored or needed the money at the time), I just wanted to save more money & help my friend out with his business. I felt like I had good balance of work & leisure. I hanged out with my friends on Friday & Saturdays then I had my 'me' days on Sundays.\n\nIf you are going to move here, do your research, also I don't think people consider their countries dollar into the equation, what I mean is, if you want to convert your money to Canadian... you might have less money then you have. Example, at this moment, 1 Mexican Peso is 0.066 Canadian dollars, therefor people coming from Mexico might have a hard time afford things in Canada compared to a person who is moving from USA. It’s funny a lot of people are leaving there homeland, and even when they get a good education they never return to help their homeland. Also you complain about the healthcare yet in African countries have the worst healthcare at least you can wait for healthcare while Africa don’t have any proper health care you die waiting. Another thing is that there is racism in every country even between light skin and dark skin African there is racism. Another is that if you go to any other country in the world you still need certification from them. What you all are talking about happens in every country. Lastly I don’t think no one is forcing you to stay in their country.

One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

Canada business system prefers the big franchises businesses that have millions of dollars. If you have a small shop or restaurant get beaten by the big corporations that has franchises. the food costs are high and when selling u just cant sell for a better profit that can actually make you money. The Chinese and Indians knows how to sell little many items at a low cost just to be on a very tinny profitable way to keep on going. The Multi big paying makes money in Canada not the small business immigrants come and create. Those business don't built wealth because the big corporations are pushed by the Gov more in creating jobs and paying the big corporate taxes that in turn the taxes help support the social programs for those that cant work and also providing the basic needs to those that needs it through the taxes paid. In many African states many of the individual business that strife and create wealth because there isn't too much huge corporations that competes with this small business like the first world nations. In SA for example we have seen an explosion of many migrants going there creating small business and striving better than they will be in Canada. The taxes are high in Canada that's true u cant be rich sorry u will work until you lose your hair f not your hair turns white in a very short time due to too much stress and worries. Canada is good for social programs it takes care off those that don't' work if you work forget about getting rich but supporting those that don't work through the allocated taxes. Canada and the first world nations supports Big corporation and Franchising not really a fan of small business even when they are here they just don't create huge profits to think they will make it. In fact when the economy falls those shops easily shut down entirely and when they do reopen they barely make profits. I have seen Nigerian, Ghanaian small shops with Ethiopian and Jamaican business.

These problems are also present in many parts of America as well... Its even worse in LA AND NYC. THIS IS WHY people are moving to Europe where there is more public transit so you dont need a car!

An uninformed American making it sound like all of Canada is as cold as the territories. What else is new? Even the territories have a warm summer, so how can the PROVINCES be as cold as you describe in the introduction? The rest of your video says that only the territories, Saskatchewan in winter, and the city of Winnipeg in winter, are insanely cold. Maybe change your absurd introduction? Cold winters are not exclusive to Canada, and you need to stop propagating that myth. In fact, the coldest I've ever been in my life was in either New York or Minneapolis! Do you begin every video about a country in the northern hemisphere with a picture of a guy with his face frozen and proclaim how insanely cold that country is?

Bad things about Saskatchewan:\n-A LOT of snow, A LOT\n- negative 30c is the norm in winter, summer usually plus 25c (It's COLD)\n-housing prices aren't as cheap as the video says... sure you can buy a place for $280,000 :) ...an apartment. \nA new family house made in 2012 costs $550,000, an old one made in 1980 costs $330,000.\n- Not a lot of bang for your buck. Yes, there are jobs in the major cities but the pay isn't so great unless you are a nurse or work in health care. (Best province for upcoming nurses btw) Minimum wage for the win! \n-As I said previously, minimum wage for the win! There are jobs but you don't get paid enough to live without a roommate or almost be constantly broke.\n-Rent is okay. If you DO manage to get a decent paying job, like a teacher, plumber, doctor, etc, rent is cheap.\n-Expensive retirement. Thinking the healthcare is great for seniors? It is. But, get ready to give every last penny to your senior home. A neighbour got a quote from a local seniors home for him and his wife, $65,000 per year (MINIMUM) for the 2 of them. That's how much the old folks home costed.\n-You need a car. If you want to visit outside the major cities, you need a car. In the cities you can survive traffick by bus, but it is better with a car.\n-You can't see northern lights a lot. Not from the cities. It's cheaper than Vancouver or Toronto.\n-Food prices are alright. Not good, not bad, just okay. Even a poor single mother can buy some food I think.\n-Lots of land. There is lots of flat land here. Canada, country of homeless and trash. I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.

We relocated to Pune from Delhi- NCR 5 yrs back, best decision of our life. \nDifference we felt, great weather all year long, no pollution, no water shortage, no electricity issues, amazing education system for kids, lowest crime rate, food.. unbelievable although not as good as Delhi for foodies like us. Job opportunities- unmatched. Even during the pandemic, we had all the support we needed from the government ( yea crazy unbelievable), strict rules about garbage collection as well. One of the Best place to retire and relax.

All Canada not only Vancouver it’s very isolated.\nPeople can’t afford to buy a house because the house marketing is 3 times the price compared to USA. The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. You have to wait (to be true emergencies are different, they are good on that) you have to wait like 12-24 months to get an appointment with a specialist (gynecologist, etc) dental is not covered. \n\nExcuse my English I know it’s not very good but I love your video and I had to left my comments

You both are so right. After speaking with countless immigrants in my area over the 12 years in Halifax, I have met so many perfectly qualified people even from the UK with English who couldn't work in their field without more credentials. Many I know left and are leaving. Plus, we need more doctors yet they make it so hard for newcomers. The government should make this better or at least be more honest especially if they want people to stay. Very informative even for someone who is a Canadian and born here.

Life in Canada is not easy nor happy life as you thought especially for those whom come with nothing it will be very hard and will be struggling to make the end needs . It's an immigrant quota goverment tax scam. They need self sustained educated immigrants to raise tax money for the locals without being a burden for the government. Once in Canada they don't care how you do. As far as technical or high pay occupations they are controlled by unions which make gualifying degree holder immigrants pay exorbitants amounts of money and go though so much red tape that make it almost impossible for them to practice in their field. Their degree qualifies them to come to Canada, that's all. Once in the degrees even if better than Canada's standards, they are worthless. Engineering, medical fields are run by unions whose only purpose is to ensure Canadian born high payed proffesionals in those fields and others are guaranteed a lavish life through an endless pool of ever growing customers for a short list of elite board certified providers. It's a scam, a well thought one red seal approved by Ottawa. Get your foot in the country to escape the hell in your origin country, work through towards your citizenship which is always handy to have and bail out for better opportunities else where outside Canada. My two cents anyway.

I hope you don't underestimate Europe's existing problems when i went to London 4 years ago i was shocked that it wasnt the place i imagined it to be no need to explain im sure you understand what i mean. Im an Asian immigrant, but i wasnt expecting that i couldnt even see a caucasian in London mostly arabs, blacks, indians, some asians i do not hate it but im just confused i worked in the middle east for 10 yrs and i was hearing arabic speaking everywhere, also asian language its like im in Vancouver or Surrey area. I know of a few taxi drivers that have law degrees or a PhD in the way they get treated is astounding the young need to be educated not just the Young the ignorant people say they're taking our jobs they're taking our jobs because they're work ethic is 100 times better in some cases in most cases people that are from a country that has benefited them wouldn't know damn thing about a hard life. I have experienced or found amount of trauma in my life in and out of foster homes the day I was born adopted at age 9 back in foster care , addicted to opiates I thought life couldn't get any worse I am now 6 years clean from opiates I find myself among the luckiest women or person on this Earth. The re qualification process is complete joke why should people have to retake exams?Compare this to the EU , there your qualifications are recognized in every ALL the other countries within the EU. Engineers need APEGA membership before they can practice even with very high qualifications. The cost of living when compared to wages is another big issue. So yes people are leaving and rightly so the situation get worse and labour shortages will increase as baby boomers retire.

Honestly I like this place..looks very quiet and peaceful..I'm from India and we also have lots of places like this especially government quarters or private industries quarters but the only difference is that we have more trees,houses were fenced and people are more social..I m blessed that I spent my entire life in such areas instead of some overcrowded congested places in Delhi or Mumbai loll..you will get to see the exact scenario especially during the day time in summers when people tends to be indoors but they comes out in evening everyday hanging chatting and playing around..and if you have some good friends then you really don't need any schedule lol..i still remember me along with my cousins and friends use to roam and wander around the locality even in the daytime in the scorching heat of summer when everyone was inside loll and we used to play volleyball or badminton till midnight..it was such fun and beautiful life..but unfortunately these days people are getting more reserved and more into themselves..

Block parties, cook outs, neighborhood meetings, bus trips to the beaches, weddings and Saturday clean ups were all apart of our past community's. Yes some still exist. However, anytime Blacks in America have demanded equity, justice, education, health rights, human rights, and fair housing, we are met often with a back lash. Suddenly, rents go up. Houses have doubled or tripled in increase. Crime waves have made it almost impossible for people to come out and relax freely. Political changes have also played a major roll. Neighborhoods have been redlined. Even where one goes to vote has been moved. White racism and fear, entire industry's have moved put of key areas. So thete is a natural break down. Neighborhood meets come to a end and different organizations from schools, to planting trees to parking all get affected due to such changes. Local small businesses that knew each family members also close up and leave. Its not a question of oh you have everything you need in your American house. That is not it! Its more complex. The lack of kids playing out front or the older ladies keeping watch have disappeared also due to no rent control policies.

People are just too attached to their electronics now more than 20 years ago. If they stopped watching so much TV and just felt they should let their devices rest on the table a little instead of holding it all the time, they would feel the need to just watch the clouds around or the trees around you or simply enjoy fresh air even if they don't do anything

What does building new homes have to do with the price of a home? The bar has been set, nobody is going to go back to selling houses for 150,000 - 200,000 doesn't matter how many homes you build. Also how long will it be before we actually see results from this 4 billion investment, by the time it does anything to help there will be even more Canadians and more immigrants. When mothers stayed at home to look after the young children I think things were very different , its the same here in Australia now . Although when our children were young my wife did not work and there was a vibrant community of mothers during the day time and children playing out in the streets , even when we returned from a small country town back to the city . Now , both parents need to work , so the suburbs ar empty during the week . As an aside if EBM is talking about north / north America much of the winter months are so cold you are not likely to be sitting out on the porch talking to your neighbour !

my childhood was in a city with 100k population. my school was 5-7 minutes of walk. my music school was 20 minutes away. I had no any issue walking myself to where I need. without any supervision. It was super safe. Just imagine you are living in a world, - where no criminals, no guns, no violence, no pedophile alerts and databases where they are registered. Imagine a kid 6-8yo is walking alone from home to school and back. That was there. Not anymore much. Soviet union was not the best place to live in, but it was damn safe there. And now what? Fertilization and cancer clinics are everywhere. Obesity. You cannot let your kid go to school without a bus cause it's illegal to do so. You cannot even leave them alone at home for 1h. It's also illegal.

This is very true . I am currently in Tanzania waiting to go back to the UK. My daughter and grandkids left on the 27thMarch the peace and the sun here in Tanzania is unmatched. We have been conditioned to think.Africa is poor blah blah it is a lie. I am.Zambian born by the way but I love Tanzania and always come to Africa via Dar then train to Zambia in first class and enjoy the adventure sleep and.eat on the train.amazing. I have lived in the UK 18years right now I am contemplating if I should even go.back. Tanzania was like C never existed left the UK in Jan 2021 am now even used to the weather going back is now a struggle to join the loneliness and kids being locked in the house. My granddaughter was very happy here now she is Just in indoors doing nothing the only time they enjoy is being at school and summer . I don't know I just need to start something small and make money here the Western life is not for us. I am from Pakistan. Studied and lived in USA for over 10 years. Don't know where my time has gone so fast. Life is very busy in usa (I lived in Chicago, Denver, Orange County, CA and LA. People have to work two jobs to ends meet. Most people have to share housing...that really sucks. Constant expense (rent or mortgage payments are so high people have to constantly work. Whatever time people get they run chores and stay home and chill. You see ultra rich or people on welfare having fun at the beach. I have had a very close friend from pakistan came to usa same time as I did. we both never had enough time to meet up on regular basis. even when we met we had so many things in back of our minds running. I had couple of girlfriends (of course at different times) but they had other boyfriends at the same time. And number one thing they had on their mind is was get money from you. What you wear and drive is what you are. People consider you obsolete if you wear non branded shoes or older models of branded shoes. I traveled extensively in the US and Canada. But in East Europe like Romania and Poland I found people very friendly. Now I am back in pakistan facing basic problems like traffic jams, noisy honking streets and so on but for some reason i feel worriless and relax. whenever i go out, people start to talk to you and you feel like home. everyone is super friendly and is available for help. however you cant really trust people with money though. hahahha. After living in USA for so long I do really miss many things about it though. the efficient system is definitely a big plus. and i have realized that some times i like being all alone for extensive period of times. but knowing that i can meet up anyone any time gives me peace of mind. i have realized hard way that man made martials can amuse you to some extent only. you need live beings are you.

I had a friend from England that was a firefighter oh, and he applied to be a firefighter in Canada because it was on the list. The list of needed people for jobs in Canada. When he got here he could not find a job, there was no job openings for firefighters in Canada. He ended up moving back to England because he could not find a job in his designated vocation, even though he did working other jobs.
