I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Visiting the Netherlands, Britain, France - everywhere I go in the west it’s the same. People are fed up of leftwing ideology, identity politics and high taxes.\nThe west needs to wake up. \nPeople are leaving for other places.\n\nIf one is good in his job, one can live a good life in many places. A friend moved to Colombia - he is very happy.\nI am planning to move my business as well…

What I have heard about Canadian policies, they are idiotic - to say it nicely. However, the Canadians clearly want to go on with the existing agendas, so I'm getting tired of these videos claiming that Canadians are not happy. \nNo. They are happy! Otherwise they would not vote the same people to go on governing them. Mr. Trudeau seems to be such a darling of a man, that you Canadians just can't cope without him. Ok....I've lived in Singapore for the last 33 years, graduated from the University of Alberta with an Electrical Engineering degree. Worked 1 year in the arctic in 1989 then was offered a job in Singapore in 1990 and never looked back. There are MASSIVE engineering opportunities in Asia, its nothing like Canada. \nIf you have to deal with the Canadian government from outside the country your quickly realize that Canada is run by....children. The high commission is a joke, the over seas PP stuff is a joke, its all a joke. They could just copy the legislation that Australia has but they don't, it a complete amateur joke.\nCrime in Singapore? There is almost zero. \nTaxes? Singapore taxes are 1/4 of that in Canada plus there are no capital gains tax in Singapore. One of the reasons I stayed here was that I wouldn't lose have my gains on my stock options. \nInflation is caused by government spending and Peter Pan(Justin Trudeau, the man child) spends-and-spends. He has no plan to balance the budget nor pay down what is already borrowed. This causes inflation.....and it will continue. Why? Because people voted for it.\nCanadians truly believe they can get something for nothing....they can't, but they continue to vote for politicians that peddle that lie.\nSo, Canada, enjoy the inflation....YOU VOTED FOR IT!.\nJim

if not for covid I would likely have left myself by now. Trudeau has made living here unbearable, I never seen a PM hate his own people as much as this clown. I'm born Canadian and at least from my mom's side at least 5 generation. Dad was immigrant from Barbados. Somehow Trudeau has been able to triple our debt owed yet everything has gotten worse in this country. Unfortunately I lost my job during Covid and ended up spending most of my savings and retirement. So having to start from ground zero again which is infuriating. I would SOOOO love to be living in somewhere in south east asia right now Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, etc.

Trudeau's push for mass migration is part of the problem, increasing housing demand. Torontonians tend to vote Liberal and NDP, and therein lies the problem. They keep funding NGOs that profit from homelessness and drug addiction, making these things worse. Also, look at who is being let in as citizens: very often people who will be a drain on the system, who increase crime and who are antisemites and potential terrorists (i.e. people from the Middle East and North Africa). Politically incorrect to say this, yes, but that doesn't make it less true.

Trudeau has destroyed this country. I’m 54 and have never seen such an incompetent government. This what happens when people vote for a cute drama teacher for PM and a journalist as the deputy PM.

I live in Toronto since 1999 and witnessed the decline of the city due to higher crime rates, poor car racing on highways, more selfish people parking at the fire lanes, legalization of pot (thanks to stupid Trudeau govt), more traffic congestion, more homeless taking up the parks etc since 2005. It gets worse and worse each year.

Why are people leaving? One word... Trudeau.

The reason behind all these factors except the last one is socialism. No matter if comes from the right or the left. But a decade of government under Trudeau's policies only made it worse. I think it's fair to say that the reason why people are leaving Canada is mainly socialism but I guess it would be a too short video without getting too much into politics.

Not so dramatic dear Canadians! It will be fine in time, one of the most beautiful countries on the planet. Blessed you are with such a vast landmass, nature etc etc. I am from the Netherlands and I do have a special place in my hearth for Canada. My granny did travel to you in the past and so will I do, Canada is absolute on my bucketlist! We Dutch will never forget what you did for our country during the Second World War, without you .....well, cannot keep my eyes dry. The bravery and fallen heroes are still buried on the military graveyards in Europe, especially the Netherlands. Believe me, time will heal the current problems in Canada no worry. Choose your next politicians wise, the Trudeau rain must end and I agree. Greetings from the Netherlands, I will visit you and I will support you. I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

Generations of immigrants arrived here with nothing except their will and determination to succeed. They didn't look for or expect help from the Government. Quite the opposite- they were determined to succeed on their own. And the vast majority did quite well. Today you get the impression that people are coming here and immediately want to lean on the Government and the taxpayer. This is exactly what the Trudeau Liberals have coveted. Much like his father, JT is trying to portray himself as the champion of immigrants in order to secure a new generation of Liberal voters. Canadians see this farce for what it is.

Most of the homeless people shown are white because Dictator Trudeau gives assistance to non white and LGBTQ people first.

I wish, if the Canadians raise their voice against their woke government. What I understood after studying Canada's situation is that the people were not concerned about politics. lol...I left Canada 12 years ago...Canada is not moving forward, very little industries to choose, very little roles and positions to offer, the work culture is slow, lazy and dumb in general. Cost of living and tax is high. The government is not open to welcoming more outside investment or allow more companies into Canada. \nAnd having Trudeau as the PM makes everything just worse... \n\nThe only reasons I would go back to Canada, for a vist only, is because of the fresh air and trees and quietness. And maybe some food that I like...and to see my family. But that's all.....I moved back to Hong Kong, and then explored opportunities in mainland China as well. Honestly, after my experience back in Hong Kong it felt like Canada is at least 20 years behind. And after exploring mainland China, it feels like Canada is 40 years behind. \n\nSo yea, no plans to move back to Canada.....because even elderly homes in China now provides really high quality service compare to the ones offered in Canada, you would feel like the Canadian elderly homes are a prison for old people.

Canada let in 430,635 people in July and sep population went up 1.1 percent sense 1957 were hey let in 198,000 people Canada keeps letting so many people in and yet can’t fix the housing shortage. Stop letting so many people in government just wants to tax people to death welcome to Canada were homes are overpriced and y are taxed heavily. Cost of everything is skyrocketing. People do come into Canada but u also have to count how many people are also leaving . After living here for a 1-2 people leave . Houses are overpriced most of the time it’s cold. I suggest come here if you can find a good high paying job . Rents also crazy high . New comers leave after they can’t afford to buy a house . When they say there are plenty of jobs they mean like Uber driver or labour jobs. As a Canadian who has lived in the U.S. and has numerous friends from foreign countries (mostly Algeria), there’s a large group of people wanting to move here still.\n\nBut for us Canadians, yeah Trudeau has screwed us over. THERE ARE favored immigrants though, Ukrainians are not hurting living here. actually they are taking Canadians jobs, even in service positions, but for a lot of students that is how they live. but when employers are offered incentives to hire an immigrant, Ukrainian for example, they may be getting subsidized wages. Canadians just like the old Soviets have come to rely on the Government and debt. Canada is fake. The money is fake, unions are fake, the press is fake, medical system, education, all fake fake fake. I am white, Christian, male and I knew a few years ago that in Canada there was no future for people like me. I left for SE Asia and I, from the bottom of my heart, have never been happier. Under Justin Trudeau’s 10+ years’ ruling, most Canadians has nothing but a $1+ millions’ house (with lots of debt). Canadians now have no life but forced to save everything for paying mortgage. People are increasingly social isolated because restaurants are crazy expensive, travel becomes dream because food price is sky-high.

If you consider yourself a liberal, and have voted for Trudeau and his party in the past, take a good hard look in the mirror, you are one of the voters who were responsible for Canada becoming this way, when he said, “the budget will balance itself.” That should have been all the hints needed for an educated person to see the liberals had no idea about anything in regards to economics, there’s a reason so many people are moving to Alberta, because truthfully, the more conservative policies are just superior when you consider how many times the liberals have exceeded their budgets

Once Trudeau and the Liberals are gone then you'll see things getting better and more people actually wanting to and staying.

We used to build 220,000 houses a year, we are short 3.5 million homes right now, we are losing trades people by the tens of thousands a month this year due to retirements. We will be lucky to build even 200,000 homes in 2023. The rich of the world come here and buy up homes and just sit on them, large corporations have monopolies here and charge us out the butt for services and products. We are all working slaves here. HONG KONG SCHEME and decades of open door to mass immigration mostly from Hong Kong and Mainland China (with now all coutries in the Asian continents) and paying above market value with easy immigration and bringing elderly family created this mess in 1990!! Now immigration is easier with no visa required for other countries. Long term care homes are also overwhelmed as people are bringing their non english speaking relatives and causing a burden on this social system, thus MAID has been no other option for many people. Things are definitely broken here, slowly deteriorating for the past 20 years, but especially escalated since Trudeau in 2015, and the BS and lies and propaganda since the start of COVID. This country is deteriorating as a direct consequence of our fascist government and broken institutions. Don’t know where this goes, but we are definitely a nation in decline, and the takeover of government by corporate interests and corrupt politics is the reason why. We do not live in a democracy. Don’t let anybody tell you we do. Everything is a lie, and people are figuring it out and no longer wish to participate in a society that has become hostile towards the middle class. The entire system is a pyramid scheme, and the Jenga blocks are crumbling.

You forgot to mention Trudeau and his Liberals as being the most repugnant part of our Nation. As for racism, we didn't ask to lose our National identity with his immigration policies. How many other countries have to deal with Whites or Blacks moving, and then being 1/4 of your population... Safe to say, you'd take issue, too, especially when the people Trudeau let in expect us to assimilate to THEIR culture... It doesn't work that way. Of course it is... When you allow people to come in that are not vetted, you end up with many social, criminal, contribution related issues, and fundamental society value consequences.\n\nHere is the reality... Every other government in Canada set the agenda for immigration, it helped us and it helped them... Under Trudeau and foreign agendas, the immigrants set the agenda, what helps them is the only important issue, hence why we have zero growth, building, etc. But lots of people. Yay.\n\nNow add to that, this desire to grow at this rate will set us on a path to forever change our environment. We will now have to use vastly more of our resources, forests, green spaces, etc. etc. Our population density to useable arable land is higher than the US, so why do we have this desire to become an overcrowded zoo?

We were already in a housing crisis before Trudeau brought over those 80,000 refugees/immigrants, then we had all those who jumped our border from the US because Trudeau invited them to come to Canada. All that on top of our usual amount of immigrants that come in every year.\nIn the end we should have a MAXIMUM cap on the total # of refugees/immigrants that can enter the country per year no matter how/why they want to enter, and we should require all of them to have skills/trades/etc that we actually need. Why should we be bringing in people who can't/won't work? I know that the UK brought in refugees over 50 years ago that the majority of are STILL on welfare and the majority of their kids are on welfare too.\n\nI think Trudeau has spent more on refugees/immigrants then he has spent on our own homeless people, veterans and mental health care combined.

Of course it is! GTA was already becoming overpopulated. Now after these waves of immigrants in the last 5-6 years, it has become unlivable. Everything is buckling under this weight. housing crisis only happens in Vancouver and Toronto. Those immigrants who landed in other provinces will eventually move to these two cities, why? Because there are not much job opportunities in small towns.
