I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! I live in Vancouver n homeless people are a big problem here. I don't know if u heard it or not, here fedreal govt support suicide of homeless people even there is a official number for suicide assistance for homeless people which help them to do suicide in more ethical manner. N u gonna shock to know that these people get roughly $2000 every month from govt bt they decide to live like hell.

Well there is no perfect country. One thing which Canada has and India do not is Respect for working people. People working as Labor, Carpentor, Cleaner or Guard has respect but in India even you work as a Professor in private college you will wait many places more than three months for your salary. Second here people pay taxes and gets benefit too from Government. In India middle class job is pay tax and forget.

I did notice the quality of education was much lower in 2024 than in 2018 and 2020 in College. The teachers don't even car. All these students are very nice people, some spent a fortune coming here. There should have been limits decades ago becuase people want go back but they spent so much money that they feel stuck. $10k cad is like 3-5 years worth of income in some of these places.

I am living in Canada right now and I agree with all the points mentioned however,\n1. As a lady I feel safe, no one judge me for my clothes, no one stare me disgustingly and no one consider I am his private property to assault.\n2. I feel safe when my kid goes outside to play. People here follows laws strictly. Vehicle stops even at signal allows them to proceed, always I repeat always driver signals me to proceed.\n3. I feel happy that my husband is valued in his office and much appreciated. His seniors credit him for his hard work and everyone here encourage us to have proper work life balance.\n4 I agree we pay high tax but atleast we are getting benefits in return. Public libraries, transport system are top notches. \n5. Banking, health care, all government facilities are very systematic. We were not even aware we have completed 18 months in Canada and we received letter from government stating very soon my son's child benefit will start. We didn't even enquired about it. They processed it automatically as per our arrival date.\n6. And lastly, we celebrated Independence Day here in Calgary, it was great event and all officers were protecting us. I clearly remember while dancing , huge Indian flag dropped down by a toddler and one Chinese officer,he picked it up and gave it to nearby adult.\n\nLife is valued, humans are respected,laws are followed here so I don't regret my decision of migrating but yes, honestly I do miss India as well and I am proud I am an Indian.

Yall cant blame Canadians for hatin' Indians. Indians flooded Canada in miĺlions & kept comin'. 70% to 80% of temporary immigrants & international students here in Canada are all indians. They are freakin' everywhere. Kitchener Waterloo here, I only see Indian people around at 80%. No joke. Go to all retails shop Walmart etc...ONLY Indian. They all struggle to pay rent and live by 4 to 6 per two bedroom to survive, and more young Canadian can't even start their life with a student job anymore.

My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

Even before watching I can tell you - Germany does not want Skilled labor immigrants, but unskilled. I've been living in Thailand for over two years, and I've noticed many people from Canada, the US, Germany, and France who have made this their permanent home. It seems like things aren't going so well in Western countries lately. I asked my German friend when he plans to return to Germany, and he said, 'never.' It's interesting because even I plan to return to Russia eventually, but someone from Germany doesn't.

I grew up in Canada and I'm white. When I went to high school everyone who I met grew up in the country so it was very easy to socialize and make friends. When I went to college it was a very big culture shock because everyone traveled to Canada from another country mostly India, Korea, China and the Philippines. Most indians/immigrants ive interacted with are insanely smart people. In high school all the native Canadians were a lot less intelligent vaping is a huge issue but everyone was highly social so I was able to fit in easily even though im a pretty unlikeable person. The problem is that in college I couldn't really make any friends because of the cultural differences and since native Canadians are very rare where I was studying the culture was also kinda different. So it kinda makes me feel like im an alien in my own country. But honestly everyone kept to them selves a lot more. There are a bunch of other factors like people hyper focusing on studying but I wish people would just socialize more instead of just doing their own thing.\n\nI still remember back in high school when people used to know about everything that happened if there was something that happened everyone would know about it because everyone would talk about it there were group chats with tons of people in it where people would organize things or share memes. I think people should take inspiration from this and probobly do this more often but now its honestly just very lonely.
