See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. No disrespect I am just saying from someone who was born in Canada and whose parents grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were all born in Canada how we feel the way our country is being disrespected. It does not make us happy. But let me stress that I know there are kind respectable people from India who come here and are helping Canada. It's the ones who are disrespectful and are not respecting OUR culture.

What's not being addressed is how temporary foreign workers were once relegated to to agricultural and fisheries work but are working for many exploitive employers who care about nothing more than having the lowest payroll, mainly fast-food and retail. These are entry-level jobs that many Canadians needed to survive but are being undercut by foreign cheap labor. These jobs used to pay the bills. \n\nGlobal News only showing agricultural workers and not Subway and Tim Hortons franchises shows what side of the issue Global News is on. It makes you wonder who has voting control of Corus Entertainment, probably the same investors who own many Subway and Tim Hortons locations. \n\nChrystia Freeland saying they will tie the Temporary Foreign Workers eligibility to the unemployment rate of an area still does not address how those jobs do not cover basic living expenses of Canadian citizens. Minimum wage will never go up like this but every possible expense will skyrocket to gouge the public so every corporation will cover their finances except private citizens, unless its one of the citizens destroying the country to cover their willy-nilly investments. \n\nThe young and the poor (now the majority of Canadians) aren't asking for thriving wages, cause that ship has sailed, just to be respected enough to be paid a living wage. I can't believe Trudeau thinks he will get re-elected after selling out the country to investors.

You come to Canada, presumably for a better education. Take this knowledge, and your skill set back to India, to make it a better place to live. Otherwise, Canada becomes a country of Indians. If you walk around in downtown Toronto, there's trash and chaos everywhere. Canada is soon to be a third world country. I don't understand why people still want to move to Canada, Canadians are overpaying for everything and they don't make a lot of money either.

I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

There’s been a massive increase of non productive Indians coming into this country. Those people are tarnishing the reputation of Indians in Canada. They aren’t here legally and coming through as students and making demands to OUR government. Fighting in our streets. THEY need to go.

I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

Bring in philipinos , Latinos.korean,vietnamese hard working people respecfull to other race culture and religious background that have come here to embrace our system and be part of it not to import the reason why they should of left their country and creating their own sectors weather it be where they live do business or who they employ. No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? The grants and money from our tax money that the government gives out to these people for their low income status?\n\nI am an immigrant myself and have known many Indians that are high skilled and making great contribution to Canada. \nWe completed our legitimate degrees in Canada, applied for our work permits, got good jobs and paid our taxes, working hard to make contribution to this country. \n\nIt makes me sick to see the government and this stupid policy just unfairly allow these individuals to come to Canada and stay and possibly get their PR.\n\nHow about the hard working high skilled immigrants that fought hard and actually earned our spots to stay in Canada.

Well then make the immigration policy easy as simple as that...\nMe as an Indian nurse have been contacted with myriad of agents on linked in and WhatsApp stating that Germany is in dire need of Indian nurses under skilled work immigration, and we require at least B1 or B2 level German speaking nurses. Provided that nurses have to complete their certification coutse from their home country which is quite lengthy and sometimes unattainable because of the excess work load on nurses in private hospitals in India especially in Metropolitan cities.\nSo make the policies easier for foreign nurses by taking the experienced nurses and ask them to complete their German Language course once they arrive in Germany probably while doing their bridging nursing program ??

A LOT of students have come here illegally (not all) is the issue; and for those who have stop protesting failing grades. I also tried to move to other countries. Poland where my family is from being one of them. And I couldn't make it work. So I had to leave. I went to school in Toronto (as a Canadian) Finance, and got my investment license, and I still wasn't given a chance in the industry. When things don't go as you planned, sure it sucks. But it's a fact of life. Canada doesn't owe anything to anyone.

Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. It is like a marriage where one has to always take into account your partner's point of view, making compromises along the way for both partners, not exploiting the other's weakness, or disrespecting their views.\nThe government caused this issue to come more to the forefront in recent years by ramping up immigration numbers and putting pressure on the system. Canadians have now had enough. USA citizen here who always enjoyed Canada and the USA. I pray both Canada and the USA can address their issues because I believe both countries are amazing, even with their issues. I am happy we are neighbors. It is sad to think of anyone making, or have to make the choice, of moving to another country.

the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Having a canadian passport does not make you real Canadian. Its your assimilation to the culture. Every where I go you Indians are the same. I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. The reason why it's increasingly more expensive to live now is mostly due to Covid. Worldwide, aproximately 1.7 TRILLION USD was given to corporations after Covid, and almost none of the money has returned to the governments, because well... they didn't plan for it to happen. The rich have gotten richer and the middle class have gotten poorer. When giving away so much money, there is bound to be inflation. The money was used to invest by the rich, buying mostly properties, which is why property prices are skyrocketing. There are so many apartments, particularly in Canada, where nobody lives, because there are so many rich investors buying properties. This phenomenon is not restricted to Canada, but most other large cities in western countries.\n\nYou might think the grass is greener in other parts of the world, but it literally isn't. I live in Norway, one of the richest countries in the world, and the situation is exactly the same here. Everything is getting more expensive, salaries stay stagnant and our currency is absolutely dogshit at the moment due to a failure of basic economics by our government and the central bank. Our oil fund, the wealthiest fund in the world, is actively making trades against our own national currency to make money, but they are making the currency itself worse, thereby reducing the value of it. The value of the oil fund evens out, but it lowers the purchasing capacity for everyone else. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. \n\nPeople would chop off a limb to get a passport in Canada. It is, as you said, a relatively safe place to come home to. There aren't too many countries like that in the world, and you are fortunate. I would advice you to reconsider moving abroad. Sure, Canada has many problems, but I can guarantee you, that living elsewhere in the world at this point is not going to ease your grievances unless you live a very frugal life.

How can it be. 2% Middle class tax payers have to lift the burden of the whole nation. Direct tax, GST, Service Tax, Tax in Insurance, Investment. Sab kuch meh tax. The universities across this country have been cashing in big time. Huge salaries for staff being way out of line. My sister in law makes just over one hundred thousand a year as a secretary. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

India is currently exporting far too many people to Canada. The mass immigration into Canada is causing huge problems throughout the country. Canadian people are angry because the mass immigration is destroying wages, causing a massive housing crisis and mass inflation on food and everything.\n\nThis is not purely the fault of the Indian people... Would the Indian people accept Canadians if they demanded India change to make them more comfortable there?

But, i wonder why so many Indians are kepp coming to Canada? Arent they happy and contented with their lives in their country, instead of making their lives miserable here then regret it in the end? Why?;why? Why? When they already know that life aborad is unpredictable for them. Then they end up protesting and blaming the government afterwards. Educate yourself fisrt and don't be a victim of your wrong decisions. Well, you have a choice to make your life happy in your own country, or make it miserable abroad. The choice is still yours. And don't blame other countries if it didn't turn out the way you want it to be. Think a million times and don't brag to countrymen thst you are coming to Canada when your future here is uncertain. The whole university system is so obsolete and inefficient. Especially doctoral degree programs. We are literally dying because nobody wants to grind themselves into $200K debt. All to become a doctor who ends up spending most of their day filling out mountains of forms. The bureaucracy greed and corruption are destroying this country. Immigration band-aid solutions, to feed an unsustainable growth driven economy, are only going to make everything worse in the long run.
