I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.

They could have done well for themselves in India if they had studied here and had international study and work experience but nobody studied anything meaningful or study at all.

I came legally why can't they? This makes them criminals. We should close immigration, or tell them if you have come in to study and it is false you have to go to jail for a year and have a criminal record

No non Canadian citizens should be protesting in this country. Most of them are not here for education. They want jobs and our employers hire them because they are cheap labour. They should have to go home they are here to study not to stay obviously. Immigration has failed or cant accomodate immigrants of housing crisis and even citizens are jobless. ?

India study system only mugging up, no creativity...in UK or Canada they let your creativity come out .

The major difference between the white native people and Indian immigrants is the Indians are very much educated, and they don't drink, don't smoke, don't use drugs and keep on studying many more degrees. Education is the edge they have over the local white people. They earn too much, lots of money, buy houses and cars in just one year after immigration.

Fuk that send them home no exemptions! You come to study not bypass a legal loop hole to gain citizenship and stay illegally. Cancel their s.i.n. o.h.i.p. drivers licenses and seize bank accounts. Come to canada through proper channels and qualifications if not deport immediately.

I have a question for all the Canadians is it still worth to move to Canada like Alberta or Saskatchewan despite the inflation taxes weather and those problems through express entry I kinda have a pretty strong profile and may get provincial nomination in Egyptian but still in Europe cause of studying and internships so is it worth it?

ADVICES to some students: Do not come to Canada!! Why come here??? It is free to study in France and Germany anyway so why waste your money in Canada or Australia!!! Save your money and invest it in your homeland to start a business or buy a land or build a house!!! Don’t do like some North Americans who spend thousands in student loans and spend 15 years to repay them!!! Canada is NIT a as attractive as it was anymore anyway due to lack of job opportunities, crappy healthcare, crappy transportation (compared to France where I come from), and impossible rents!!! Just save your money and may be start learning German and/or French so that you got alternatives!!!!

If you completed any part of your study or training program during the period of March 2020-August 2022, your response will not effect your Comprehensive Ranking System score. “In-person learning” means you physically attended the classes or other forms of instruction. \n \nPlease advise the answer for this question

Canada is not India. If they came to study on a student visa, they should return home once they finished their studies instead of applying for PR.

Why we have so many students from India at first place? Secondly they are no right to demand anything. Ship them back and stop permits to study in Canada

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. I agree, it's time for them to leave. Their not here to study or to do good for Canada but to work against us as they don't respect Canadian's or our Culture.

Indian government must take step to control immigration from india to west European country,america india itself cointain big big University and colleges so why are they going to other country according to me for residents visa and citizenship they are studying in canada and European and American country born in india now they gone to other country super? if india become rich country they will return to india itself that is going to happen in future.

Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... Also, these indians came legally no? In a democratic Canada that let them in... people voted for this directly or indirectly. Also, to your point, its the whites that are homeless and on drugs, how are indians to blame for white failure in Brampton? Indians have strong work and study ethic, so you should welcome that. Itll help your nation progress. These people are just racist. They dont want non-whites to become a majority. Thats all it comes down to.

Who in the right mind would come to Canada to study paying so much money in student tuition and not hope to become a citizen? It’s not their fault that they’ve been scammed out of money and now kicked out of the country because of poor administrative decisions. \n\nDual intent (of studying and wanting to stay) is completely legal and worked for decades. I don’t see any issues here. \n\nInstead of criticizing the actions of the government officials of screwing this up in the first place, it’s a shame to see you demonize the poor international students that have been defrauded in the first place.

They shouldn't be called immigrants they are international students. And they need to leave the county once their study is done. But how about dont let them in in the first place.

I've seen foreigners using this side door for over 10 years. I saw it when I was doing post secondary studies. Its got to stop. They need to be made to use the proper front door

This is not about indian students only. If you people think that we come up from poor families to study abroad then you are truly wrong up in here. We belongs to well renowned family and we do have enough money to buy out things. Indian are working hard here if you will go to pacific zone then you would be able to see that there is much more up in there and Indians owned their villas over there. so please stop speaking this shit about us. \n\nyou can what if we are in same university then you will be paying just 25 perct and 75 perct would be granted by government only and on same hand internationals are paying 100 perct for same colleges. moreover, we are living in your houses and paying you with high rents and you are paying of your houses mortgage from us. \n\nSo stop speaking anything without knowing anything

As an Indian With lots of Canadian Based Indian Friends , I can 100% assure you that None of these people are there for education or to finish their studies and come back........They are there to gain a backdoor entry into gaining Canadian Permanent Residence......

I’m an Indian and I support your views students should return to India upon completion of their studies & students going there should refrain themselves from criminal and illicit activities too.

I am a legal landed immigrant. 18 years and counting. Been through hell to get re-certified back into my field….health care. I say NO. They came here on the idea to study and get back to their home countries. They need to get out. Yes….if they have skills to contribute to Canada and qualify….. then great. Otherwise BE GONE.

In order to get study visa, they mention that they leave Canada once they finish studies and have ties back home.. all lies suddenly?

India is known for world class educational institutions and universities. We have IITs and IIMs and are running the companies in the west. How are these “students” there to study? Their intent is suspect.

They should have been sent back to India as soon as it was discovered that their study papers were bogus! It’s insane that we allow people to stay in Canada who have come here illegally and then we reward them. That is a complete slap in the face to all the immigrants who have gone through the legal system and gained permanent residency status through the immigration process.

It's great that people want to come here and study, but... When you come here and abuse the rules and work well beyond the limits of your work permit and work double and triple the amount of hours that is not ok. Another issue is when you take only business courses and then fail out just you didn't actually get any skills that are needed in this county to allow you to stay after your schooling. If you follow the rules, great! Come learn and work and share our culture for your school term, but if you don't want to follow the rules...

What did they study?

They have no right to stay in Canada many of them came here to start new life not for studying. They have go back to their country.

They allowed mass international students due to their (provincial) going down economy for various factors. They made false promises to students that students can get PRI in less than a year, otherwise do you think students were willing to go to these cold areas to study without any benefits? You made a promise, now its time to fulfill.\n2. International students funds the college/school by paying fee 3 times more than a Canadian one. There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. 99% of indian international students come to work in canada and not to study.

The tution fees paid by these students, is based on loans. Heavy loans which these kids take to study ,based on a prior acceptance by your government, that they will be able to work post their graduation to pay off these loans. Your universities also are to blame, as in, the universities charge a hefty tution fees which subsideses Canadian student tution fees,and , sustains your universities.\nAsk correct questions at the correct places.\nAs far as , Nijjar is concerned, he was a criminal and a terrorist. Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.

Maybe the words need to said differently. When all students have done all your studies. Graduated. You go home like most graduates do. Too work on next step . If do not already have a placement. Immediately after graduation. Not a fast food or a store. In your chosen field!

I lost very good friends over the years because they were not able to secure work visas after working, but its fair. Canada's system and social welfare has to be protected, Canadian jobs have to be protected and prioritized for Canadians first. No international student has a right to stay or live here past their studies. They can come back when they secure a work permit.

We don’t need international students because our kids have no jobs in summer time which studies in high schools and they bourn here because all small and big jobs international students get it is not fair
