There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. Punjabi (including Sikhs) is one of the best marshal races to serve in army or security agencies. Our Canadian officials never hire personals without a proper security check. \n5. Khalistan's supporters are adapting a peaceful way for their freedom land. As far they are peaceful, we should not have any issue with their struggle. I am 4th generation Canadian. My Daughter is 5th. I won't be leaving because I am fully Canadian. Immigrants are mostly cherry picking the country they go to these days of mass immigration. If they choose to leave it's hard but they are looking to cherry pick the country. It's not my problem. The government was not being responsible . Best of luck on their next choice for advantage. There is quite literally a housing crisis across almost the entire developed world, save for Japan or countries that are seeing a net population decrease. \n\nHousing is a provincial and municipal responsibility and short of a massive expansion of the state to build housing, there is very little the federal government can do to fix it. However, what the Federal government has done is allow people to borrow more and change mortgage amortization rates which is arguably a terrible idea. This also ignores that most Millenials and Gen Z believed they were going to see the same type of quality of life as Boomers and Gen X whose quality of life was (at least partially) predicated on unprecedented levels of economic growth that have not existed in a generation.

Stop the foolishness. I had my phone check at Toronto Airport in 2006 when I flew in from NYC due to my response to questions from immigration officers. I was a resident of US and my friend in Canada was undocumented, so i was hesitant to provide information about my visit. I had similar thinking then yelling at the officer as a Nigerian, but after 20years in US, I understand reason for it. If your intention for coming into the country is good, you will have no issues responding to immigration questions. You are granted student visa or visitor visa but your true intention is to stay in the country. Guilty mind always fear the truth

Its not entirely the federal governments fault. The state governments are sabotaging the country and blaming it on the feds. The world is WAY worse outside the borders than in them. That student was a weird example just taking one class, most provincial rent increases are capped, the housing crisis has been going on much longer than the Trudeau government, the government has made changes to reduce money laundering but they only contribute about 10% to the housing price inflation.
