Coming to student part, they come with their wish to Canada 95% only to settle, not to study...! \n\nHealth System is free and in Brampton I see lots of walkin clinics and hospitals which are trying to solve the problem...In Canada drugs quantity is less mg as compared to India tablets, docs don’t feed you strong medicine which can effect kidney or other organs, afraid in India its going opposite, to get fast recovery, doctor recommends high dosage which effects life of human and side effects come with it.\n\n\nLook at that part of Canadian old age people. People live longer here in Canada, and 30-40% you will find people living above 60 plus age. \n\nAny refugee claimant coming to Canada, gets Welfare from Govt., atleast $800 per month....he/she is not even PR, or citizen...they get child benefits as well...they get free of cost work/study permit...\n\ndoes any country provide that?? You need to do research on that part...\n\nOnly temporary residents, such as students, visitors except Refugee claimants have issues, dont forget their main purpose here in Canada is studying or visiting, giving 20hrs per week to work, its optional, I have seen arabic students and other nationalities focusing on studying more than work. People take loans for studies in India from banks, then come to Canada. Been in Canada 15+ years. Stay back in india if you are considering a move here. Life is better there 100%. \nOnly come if you are getting a good IT job that keeps you for 3-4 years and you limit your time to that to come and learn then go back after getting Passport. \nEducation is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.\nIndia is live and vibrant, yes with its own issues, but still more hospitable than here.\nYou fall behind financially because of taxes and also mentally becuase of overall slow pace and complacency in people/jobs with very little competition becuase of the oligarchs controlling all things.

my family immigrated in the 1950s because they needed workers here and it was difficult to assimilate but they pretended to be canadian and had canadian children and it worked. but now i’m going back to their country and escaping canada since it is impossible to live here now. the irony ??

I'm a born and raised Canadian, and jobs that I was previously able to live off of 2 years ago I am now on the brink of homelessness every single month of rent. Working those same jobs everyday in the lowest rent apartment I can find. I do 10 hour shifts most days retail and spending more than 50 dollars a month on food bounces my rent and negatives my account which makes me pay more fees on top of it. I cant afford a car, or anything for transportation. The wage I'm making now was the perfect amount for me 2 years ago to live comfortably by my standards. Now I'm going to be a homeless 24 year old Canadian that works their ass off every day and can't seem to find a better paying job regardless of how much I put myself out there... In the last 2 months I have lost a total of 16lbs because I can only eat so much on my budget. I am a hard working Canadian that just wants the luxury of being able to not stress about these things because I work so hard. But that seems to not matter.

I moved to canada to finish highschool and university, and honeslty, I cant wait to go back home. Im under a lot of stress to finish my school before things get even worse. My parents work as building managers for a company, and even though the price of our apartment is lowered because of that, we still have to fight every day just to not go homeless, even though we live on 2 paychecks. We are 1 minor inconvenience away from going completely bankrupt and homeless, canada is honestly one of the worst countries to be right now. I'd rather be at home, in my politically corrupt and underdeveloped country than be in canada, because at least in my home country, i can get good pay and live without fear of going homeless.

I'm a US citizen living in Canada to be with my Canadian citizen husband until we can move to the states, there is no fast track or easy way to get a job while I stay here yet up until recently there were special provisions in the law to allow more immigrants from India faster, why? And if my husband were a permanent resident or here on a work permit, he could easily apply for me to work here, but since he's a citizen he can't? It doesn't make any sense and I can't wait to go back to my country where the people are friendly, wages are double, and the economy isn't collapsing.

It's a shameful situation exacerbated by the Liberal government. People are the foundation of society, you make their lives more difficult until it becomes a living hell and they can barely survive, how is that not going to affect the economy? The wellbeing of citizens is directly related to the economy. I am so tired and disgusted.

Toronto born and raised and a 4th generation Canadian, I loved Toronto so much! As a boy, I was lucky enough to live in a large house at Yonge and St. Clair. Early on we didnt even have to lock the doors or lock up our bikes. We had Beckers corner stores and played tag and baseball down on Summerhill Ave. Fast forward several decades and I have been living in small town USA. By no means is this country even close to perfect but the town I live in is safe, clean and not nearly as populated as Toronto. I am heading back there for a visit and look forward to having my mind blown at the volume of humans that I will see there. I loved the diversity and the amazing food but the housing shortage and ridiculous prices for rent/housing make it next to impossible for even an income earner of my stature want to go back. I cant afford to buy a house there and I make pretty good money. I will love to visit and it is where I am from but I dont see myself moving back there. That makes me sad. Thank you for the video!

This shit is ridiculous, I’ve seen it in real time 90 min outside of Toronto, living in a quiet city as 5 years ago. Now there are traffic jams from 2 pm until 7 pm in the city, and endless traffic when driving 30 km in any direction on the highways. A few weeks ago it took me 5 hours to drive 75 miles. Every single gig economy job is bursting at the seems with people who are useless for any other kinds of work. The scariest thing is no one is going to have the balls to send people back to where they came from. Especially the conservative party. They will bend over faster than a one legged whore when it comes time to do their overlords biddings.

What's one of the main reasons why a foreign country would invite foreign workers into their country to work?? Because there are native citizens of that particular nation that don't want to work, they are lazy.. I understand the issue about overpopulation, but on the other hand, the opportunities have always been there for the natives to take advantage of, but did they?? So the government had to come up with a system to fill those vacancies, and in some cases, another reason why natives can't get a job, is because they are not qualified.. I think if an immigrant should be there with the aim to create a better life, I'm sure it can be achieved with hardwork and sacrifices, because a lot of us want to live above our means/ budget, spending more than we earn, instead of saving towards accomplishing a specific goal.. And i think a lot of people go with this false belief that that particular country is paradise, so they think as they land, their lives would be changed instantly, not knowing that they have to work very hard and make sacrifices to achieve their goals, and that's the main issue, they go without having any aims or goals, they go with the wrong mindset and attitude, and the list goes on.. And these students that are protesting, they should be trying to make a difference in the country to demonstrate to the government and the natives there that they are worthy to be a part of the nation, because they are not taking from it, but rather adding more values to it.. I think it all depends on the mindset.. And of course, i do agree that an immigrant should assimilate..

i rent a room. multi-people per room isn't preying on people, it's giving them a chance at not being bloody homeless. It's so damn expensive, and it's not going to change, this has become the only solution that isn't CRAWLING with bureaucratic red tape, And it sucks. Waiting for the other 2 roomates to finish bathroom routines in our shared bathroom... It SUCKS, and that's 3 people sharing 2 rooms, I can only imagine multiple to a room, but I DARE you to try to afford to live in toronto or vancouver while juggling student loans, while you still can't get a ruddy job in the industry you went to school for because it became saturated with laid-off senior staff.

As someone living in Canada it's been crazy the boom of indian people. I live in a highly desired immigration location and it's rare to go to a fast food place and it isn't just full of only indian workers. Additionally, I walk to work for less than 10 mins, and I pass 4-5 houses just packed with young indian men packed into a house together, like 6-8 people. \nDespite all this huge number of indian immigrants I have no indian friends, because they don't integrate at all, they stay completely insulated in groups of other indians, often speaking to eachiother in their native language rather than bothering to learn the national languages of canada either english or french. We've immigrated like 5-10 years worth of immigrants in just 1-2 years. It's unsustainable and insane. we don't have the structure to support this population.\n\nIt's modern colonization. Plain and simple.

Honestly, the cost of living is high everywhere.. There is no government of any nation that really cares for the people.. I live in Jamaica, and if you don't have links, survival in this country is almost impossible, and if you should get a job, if you don't discipline yourself to live within your means/ budget, you will only find yourself in debts.. Each nation's economy will get worse.. That's why our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.. I understand that they are people who don't know this name and there are some that are aware of it but hate it, but the truth is, eventually we will all figure out one by one that we can't trust man, only God Almighty.. And even with the Lord on our side, we will still face difficulties, but he will always come to our rescue, we just need to trust him.. Eh, yes, this is wrong but I live by Indians and they are the most annoying pieces of crap I have ever had to deal with. Openly take dumps in the park, wipe child's butt with t-shirt they are selling, return used under-wear, things 10 years old, expired coupons, do 30 mph on highway, 40 mph by busy-cross walk with people crossing, hit into me 3 times in a car (their fault), smell up everywhere, sit on MY car with their butts and hang out on it, I don't even have all night to go on and on....Disgusting pieces of ****\n\nNot it's not ALL of them, but I've never seen a high percentage of people be so uncivilized. So you get fed up with them and say things you shouldn't probably say. I'm all for peace, but I have never seen anything like the Indians.

I went back to India and came back again in 11 months. \nOnly digital payment system is a plus. \nPpl are still peeing on the wall , basic necessities like water is a problem, traffic is crazy, garbage, rats everywhere, literally stinks in rainy season, if an accident happens,help won’t be able to reach on time. \nThese days mostly both parents are working, and outsourcing their home chores including cooking. All you see is maids mostly. As both the parents are working kids mostly hoping from one activity class to another.Basically, like foreign countries you hv to make extra efforts to make friendship and then to sustain them. \nOnly housewives who of course, hv maids even for dusting , you would see n meet, who would color coordinate their outfit and control the festivities in society. \nLike abroad mostly relationships n friendships are transactional, relatives are already well settled in their respective lives and busy.\nEducation system is not hash and strict as before but teachers are. Indian education is still elaborated and we Indian parents still give pa pushy environment at home that’s it. Apart from that no other eduation is provided like harmonal changes to kids who are about to go in teenage, addiction , behaviour etc… I can write on n on but will some up : your only 3 or 4 member family matters .. 2 parents n kids … rest is all over world us same..

You need to make your own country a better place to live and stop sh*tting all over Canada trying to make it your little India. We don’t come to your country to make it more Americanized. We’d be put in jail or kicked out. So don’t expect that we will just allow you to come here and try to change our way of life, this is NOT your right. Canadians need to come first. Being born and raised here counts for something. Even immigrants who have been here for 10-20 years don’t want you. I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. We recently moved from Switzerland to BC Canada and to be honest, we somehow regret it because it feels like it's a big downgrade. Maybe we are still transitioning but seeing homeless people, drug addicts and litter everywhere almost every time we go out are way too shocking. We've never seen these in Switzerland and not even this much in every country we've lived and traveled at. We are questioning if it's safe to even stay here for a year. And the taxes, it's ridiculous really! The average income tax in Switzerland is only 11-12 percent, less than half of Canada.

One thing I have noticed the most that nobody is addressing is. A lot of the people are coming are young single men. I predict an extreame increase in sexual assault. They are living in mass housing and working hard to make money but men are men and eventually have sexual needs. I honestly think some Canadians people have memory problems. 30 years ago Brampton was known as the town with the most Indians. Nobody complained. The cost of living and housing went up in the last 10 years and now all of a sudden people complain about something that has always been. The only difference is theres more Indian students. I see the throng of well dressed young men (mostly) appearing to be of mid east des pcent going to the food bank down the street from my house every week. They do not need to live in the community, nor provide any real names or address to get an ID card at this specific bank. Getting Halal food etc while many Toronto citizens go hungry. Shameful.
