Majority of the students who came after the pandemic were business professionals who took the pandemic as an opportunity to get back to education. They chose Canada because of its beauty and friendly people. The reality of which is they paid 3 times as much tuition as a Canadian, got abused at their work place for bare minimum wage. They paid a hefty price for a degree that no country recognizes. Its funny how your PM cashed your CERB cheques with the cash of international students. Its sad how Indian students follow the legal process to enter your nation and get hate for being illegals. Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. You put a communist dictator to represent you and you are paying its price. Darker days lie ahead for Canada and they have nothing to do with Indian students.

I lived in Canada all of my life. I disagree with some of her statements. with 2 months stay I'm canada she has become an expert. I wish people would stop making these videos.

I am an Indian who lived in Brampton but left within 1 year. Indian people in Brampton are from small villages in Punjab who have never lived in a big city even in India but somehow landed directly in Canada. I blame Canadian immigration for not doing their due diligence.. ?

Why is Pierre afraid of the immigrant issue? I think - that they will all be labeled of being racists because they don't want other cultures and more people in the country. That's what it is. You need to prove you have the funds and somewhere to live or work. I don't know.... I live in Montreal and I don't see recent newcomers as poor victims (I'm talking about most immigrants applying for refugee status) . \nWhy? \n1. In order to reach North America , one has to either cross the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean or cross huge chunks of land from Central or South America .... and that's really expensive. In Europe, since the coast of Africa is very close to Europe's , boats full of destitute and desperate people might be the norm. Not in North America. \n2. most of those guys arrive in North America looking for work \n3. most newcomers do possess smart phones and they know how to use them. They have their own network of friends and they're always on the lookout for good opportunities. \n4. most newcomers are very, very mobile. If they're having trouble finding work in Montreal and they need truck drivers somewhere else.... they'll go there . A new hospital needs aid personnel? They'll be there ready for hard work. \nThe positives ? They're probably working , making money and paying taxes. \nThe negative side? They're for the most part economic immigrants. It seems to me like most will have a hard time convincing immigration judges that they are actually refugees (economic refugees? if you will? ). \nMy take ? The way Federal Government deals with immigration should be changed. I believe that if immigrants already work here and are taxpayers... they should have working visas (at least temporarily). \nUndocumented criminal caught in the act of committing a crime? Immediate deportation (and I know this is obviously a lot easier said than done). \nMore airport screening at the entrance and more border security.

It takes 15% of immigrants up to 20 years to realize they've been duped and that the cost of living in Canada is too expensive? I'm surprised that the number of immigrants that choose to leave is not a lot higher, and that they don't do it much sooner. Those with marketable skills (doctorates, degrees, etc) are told by Immigration Canada that the country needs people with their skills. However, it's only AFTER they move here that they find out their foreign credentials are worthless in Canada. It's all a big scam and IC should be ashamed of themselves for selling would-be newcomers a bill of goods.

I went to high school in Brampton in the early 80's and there were no people from India anywhere... it was very much a white anglo town, and then I moved to Montreal for 25 years to work as a fashion designer. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

It is not just immigrants as I do not believe they are the biggest issue, Illegal immigrants for sure and that is totally on our border services/government. The bigger issue in my opinion are refugees and asylum seekers. We can not take in these massage numbers of people from war torn countries and not expect our crime raid to sky rocket. Nor can we continue to bring others of cultures that go against our believes. We have seen the drastic rise in hate, intolerance of different believes which was not here before. We simply do not have the capacity for support them in any manner when we are failing the people that live here.

RAAAACIIIST!”\nI live in a city of just under 200000 population and damn near every gas station, convenience store and fast food resturaunt is employing middle Easter people only. I understand these are low skilled low income jobs but when I was a teen these were the jobs we took as part time after school jobs. It helped us save for college, buy a car, pay insurance and gas and have some spending cash aswell as it helped learn to have more responsibility.. Now teens today don’t have that. My friends two teenage kids tried applying to a few different gas stations and resturaunts and they wouldn’t even accept their application. One said he was told “ sorry we only employ family”…. It’s a corporate chain!

The infrastructure is not in place. The healthcare system is a mess. Housing is a mess. Mass amounts of people are living on the streets. These are all symptoms of a failing government. We need a change.

Enough. Let’s help our own people first. Immigrants gas to qualify before and shops they had money, a sponsor a have to live etc. we need to enforce that until we right this sinking ship ? called Canada ??. We need to fix the holes in our own ship first before we can help others. Like oxygen masks on a plane ✈️

It will tame down. Give it time, Canada is too expensive for most and the reality of cost of living is even hitting the ones already here. Zero jobs and the lack of building places for these people to live artificially keeps the prices of homes up which the government wants.

I'm from the Yukon the place with the easiest path to immigration. It's so expensive there now, there is no entry level work and no where to live, yet they are isolated because most of the people are government workers so they don't realize what's happening. I would be curious to see this done there

I really hate when people say there is no culture in Canada!! How so? Of course Canada doesn't have long history but still Canadians need to protect their identity. Multiculturalism and diversity is BS !!! As an immigrant myself I don't want to live in the country full of diasporas. People are escaping from their homecountries and trying to rebuild, preserve and amply their culture and identity into a new country! wtf?

They love america.. they get good jobs easy over here.. most of them get better paying jobs than us citizens and they have no social security number.. They stick together over here, their people get them brand new cars, jobs and apartments.. When i lived in Charlotte many of the women from central america had an apartment, car and job within a week of being here.. Many of the women come here pregnant or immediately get pregnant. They can get free medical and food cards for their children when their born on us soil.. Construction companies, cleaning services, restaurants, salons and hotels will hire them before they hire people who already live here because of their good work ethic reputation.. High rent doesnt bother them because alot of migrant live in groups of 5 to 10 people.. That usually means at least 2 to 3 men working in the same home.. Thats 2 to 3 incomes so 1600 to 2500 rent is nothin to them..Not to mention their wives work half the time so thats another income..

We should remove all these backward people from the UK. If they want to live under sharia law they are welcome to go back to Pakistan and the Middle East. As for poisoning dogs that's sickening. I am disappointed by your video about Alberta it's not cheap to live here. You can't find even rent a room here unemployment is very high I believe 7.0 in June of 2024 people from Alberta don't live to help others they are selfish people I have ever seen. I live in Carbondale Illinois. I'm born in Chicago. People from other places tend to be more successful because it takes a go-getter to travel. I'm a go-getter and I do pretty well here, ironically I'm a Chicano (Mexican born in the US) and I'm considered a foreigner here. People get jealous because they think I'm a foreigner being successful.

No international student(or Indian) will come to Canada if there is no route to PR. Do you think Canadian colleges and universities are very high in the ranking list? Not at all. So imagine if students only had the option to return home after graduation, none will come to Canada and the economy will suffer. International students exploitation is happening on the federal level, then why bother with Provincial and colleges? These are temporary visas but ultimately, PR(settlement in a new country) is the goal, otherwise these students will not pack their lives and come over here.\n\nReference: I came to Canada in 2022 and left in early 2024. There are many reasons why I left but one I felt was the demographic shift and the amount of refugees that country accepts. Additionally Canada needs to raise the bar on the quality of people coming in. Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money.
