I live out in the country. I own enough property to start a small family farm. I feel safe as fuck out here and we're a legit half hour from the nearest cops. People around here generally don't fuck around cause they sure as fuck don't wanna find out. Probably cause most people around here carry heat. \n\nI know this is mainly just talking about cities, just sayin living out in the country works for me.

I would like to add why the groups are kinda in there own city’s in LA. At least for Asian. It was just easier to do that cause we can go to the few people that know how to do everything and help everyone. Like paper work, Finding jobs and things like that.

While you should not binge WebMD for days before seeing a doctor, there is a telehealth number to call. They're pretty good at diagnosing without even being able to see it, but pictures can be sent from what I understand.\nAnd, the pharmacist knows far more than the doctors. My wife was prescribed something by her doctor. She went to her pharmacist to fill the prescription. The pharmacist outright refused to fill that, and called the doctor asking why a prescription was made for something that will most definitely not work with another prescription she's already on.\n\nSo, go to a pharmacist and call the telehealth before going to a walk-in or ER, unless blood is spilling or person's unconscious.

You guys do these skits perfectly! Last time in Canada we had to fill out that ArriveCan form: the first time we didn't know about it even though we checked the requirements it didn't mention it, then one worked and the other didn't we got walked around the border twice back into America before it all got figured out. And they hold your passport up in the air waiving you to follow the border agent ! So essentially we got deported twice.

Whilst I agree with some things you mentioned, let me know where it's better than Canada. I lived in the US and it was no better at all. It was work work work with no life and not much family time. Only very rich people in both Canada and USA don't pay much taxes because of the loopholes. The CRA and IRS mostly go after people who are struggling to put food on the table. \n\nI had a major operation that cost over $350 000,00 in Canada. I don't even know what I would have done if I was in the US with shortfalls, many people go bankrupt due to medical expenses. I am grateful I didn't pay anything. The health issues you mentioned are everywhere due to covid that has ravaged systems in most countries. It is very easy when you are healthy and not faced with a hefty medical bill to say negative stuff. When you are desperate like I was then you count your blessings. \n\nTalk of racism and discrimination, it is everywhere. Canada has find a genius way to make the country rich by making the foreigners work for them doing all sorts of Labour. I studied in Australia for 3 years. The Indian restaurant owner I worked for dint pay me my AUD 5200. When I asked him he threatened me, I dint know my rights then so I backed off. Came back home and applied for various jobs then I came to know that my degree is useless and it’s not of any use in getting a good job. You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

I live in victoria, bc. Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. She is 80 something and when she is done with having tenants then i will be in a very tough position and will probably...i dont even know.\n\nTook me years to get a doctor but i have one now and getting pushed out asap is a real thing due to time concerns so have lots of solid facts about your problem and avoid poetry or drama.\n\nEverything in this video are things i think about everyday and its even getting a bit scary.\n\nI love my country and its values but we have a lot of hard work to do i think.\n\nPS i had an accident at work where a chair broke and it tipped backwards and the back of my head hit a protrusion resulting in a minor cut but there was lots of blood.\n\nI called the 811 service and they said to have it checked out and i almost didnt gonto the hospital because i wasnt sure if i could stand waiting for 10 hours.\n\nI was lucky because it took only 2 hours with a bonus tetanus shot. I have lived in Canada my whole life and I used to be proud of my country but the last 20 years I have lost that feeling no one should have to work the kind of hours we do here just to pay our Bill's and paying into our pension plan knowing we have to go to 70 to get our full pensions and still won't have enough to servive. I live in Canada for 20 years, I volunteered in a shutter couple of times preparing and serving food, I haven't seen any black person that's homeless, Winnipeg to be a specific where I lived, where homeless is higher there, yet you showing black people in your video as homeless?! that's just tells me you are racist yourself. \nwhere I used to live, black people especially the immigrants are business owners, and they're hard working people. \nWe all know who are the homeless and why they are homeless not because they can't find job but because they have mental problems then they end up to drugs addictions. You're not correct about the Quebec government banning the hijab - actually they ban all forms of religious expression in clothes worn at work by public servants - so don't criticize us unless you get the facts straight. All countries are facing public health crisis especially in the aftermath of a global pandemic, you mention how long it could take to get an MRI - weeks/months, but it's no worse than in the UK, or other western countries. I do agree with you about limited competition in banking and tech - but we're still a young and growing country, however, look at the global recession that took place in 2007 - Canada was least affected by mortgage default, the US was hit the worst and hundreds of thousands had their homes foreclosed by the Banks, yet in Canada because of our strict banking policies we were saved and the Banks worked with defaulters to try to keep their homes. Taxes, well most countries require you to file your own taxes at the end of the year - what's so strange about that? Yes sales tax is added onto the sales price depending on what province and what you are purchasing, same as US, just because it's not the same in Europe doesn't mean it's worse! Listen, when you're a newcomer to any country you need to fit in when looking for a job, put in the effort, take the time, do the work, any country is going to expect you to be able to speak the language and know the lingo, so I don't agree with your analysis that Canadians are risk adverse! You are 100% correct about the housing crisis, listen it's been going on everywhere for decades, and international investors in the past 10 years or so woke up and noticed that Canada was a great bet for investment, so the problem got really bad. The government just passed a 2 year moratorium on non Canadians buying real estate - as have many other countries, so fingers crossed no more new foreign landlords just regular Canadians buying their first homes, let's hope so!! I've lived many years in Europe - and I loved it! But the quality of life in Canada is better. If you don't live in the crowded city you can have a nice property with lots of space, good roads, not bad school system, very friendly and helpful people. The bitter truth must be accepted. Without any exaggeration. Completely impartial. I have to say that I didn't see a single piece of garbage in any of the other country's videos to convince myself. Without exaggeration, in all Canadian cities, you will find a piece of trash or garbage on the ground less than every hundred meters. It must have an important reason. I do not know. I am a bio medical engineer here in nigeria, a medical engineer but all my friends have moved to canada ? but they are leaving their dream, they working things they don’t do here, as a pro xray engineeer in nigeria ?? I can’t leave my job to sell in mcdonald just because of greener pasture i have tried to get a biomedical job in canada which i haven’t seen any till now. Thank you so much for the video all you said is true but I disagree with you because this country is a country of hustlers…you have to think out of the box to survive to beat the system..it takes time and know the system…can you imagine some guys working in construction in local unions earn 40 or 45 or 50$ per hour and while degree holders earn 20$ per hour…I love the Chanel am extremely grateful to this county the experience is a billion $ experience both good and bad but at the end we take the good and become blind to the bad if we are to make it to the highest horizons.

I've been thinking of leaving Canada as well. It's hard to find good jobs here, you'll work yourself to death trying to keep a roof over you head and yo pay your bills, and I can just go on and on. I was born and raised here, yet it no longer feels like home, things are getting worse here. All I keep thinking about is the time I went to visit ghana. I don't know how to describe it but to me they looked free, they had a sense of genuine warmth and community that you dont get here.

It made me really sad to hear stories like this when I went to school. We had 3 Indian students in our class and I became good friends with one of them. He was 16K in debt with the recruiter that sent him here, and was expected to pay for his brothers upcoming wedding. His dad used to be a farmer but he was disabled now so his parents couldnt contribute anything. He worked 3 jobs and lived in a house crammed with 6 international students. He is now back in India and married with a beautiful baby, but I dont know if he has paid down that debt. I worry about him

I have recently (and over the years) lived in many provinces. And even though I am from there (most recently 2021), Alberta has no business being anywhere near the top of the list. No one I know makes a paycheck like that and they all work 2-3 jobs to make less than what is reported. Education is low to terrible in most places outside a city, as is healthcare. The summers are either too cold or too hot and dry, and the winters are too cold, too snowy and too windy. \nIt also doesn't help most people are angry and racist. \n\nBut it was a fun interesting list nonetheless!

I know a family that sold everything to send their son to Canada for school, he ended up committing suicide, he couldn't work full time to support his family due to that his father died for lack of money to afford an adequate medical assistant. he committed suicide 4 days after his father's death.

This means that they will bring more immigrants and tell them they can't work because they don't have Canadian experience. Physicians will end up working as drivers and then people will have to wait for months for a doctor or a surgery. Teachers from other countries won't find work . Let's bring in more immigrants while every place is short staffed and increase wait times for every single thing from buying a coffee to finding a family doctor. Toronto has no more capacity for people. First improve the quality of life for those who are here and then bring new people. I still don't know what a doctor, a teacher, a mechanic, a nurse, ...........with Canadian experience knows that other people doing these jobs outside of Canada cannot do. Probably just a way to keep people back so they pay for college or university education and end up thousands of dollars in debt and still not be able to find the profession that they have been trained for back home for years.

He does not mention the fees visa students pay which is 5 times Canadian Students pay at university or college is used to offset Canadian students so they pay low tuition fees. Knowing the real reason Canada needs visa and immigrants and how much money it generates just by the application fee, immigrants and visa students don't owe Canada nothing and other countries should adopt the same strategy to attract immigrants. Unfortunately the majority of Canadians are English, Scottish, and Irish which are racist blaming Canada's economic and job problems on immigrants. That is why you have China towns, Greek towns, Italian, Portuguese, INDIA , Jewish and other ethnic towns and ethnic communities don't visit small white towns or move to other provinces. We can't not afford more immigrants ,when they arrive we give them free medical..and social benefices we older people we had pay for that free medcal by our high income taxes high taxes.we didn't have any help from the governement to raise our children.we work 2 or 3 jobs they dont'work because they don 't know french or english.we don't have any appartement, the hospitals are 150% full we don't have enough teacher ,enough doctor and you want to bring more people.ask them to go on a farm and raise thei own animal and have garden to feed their family like our ancestor did

I came to Canada back in 2021 from Mexico to pursue an MBA in Vancouver. All in all, I definitely have a lot to thank Canada for: a new career, new friends, and better work/life balance, to mention a few. I was supper happy to land in tech after graduating and working as a Product Manager for a Vancouver start up. Career wise, though, I sometimes am a bit thrown off with just how more competitive are salaries, jobs, and overall career advancement in the U.S. On top of that, the current housing situation Canada-wide is unbearable for Canadians and newcomers alike, and I frankly don't know whether I'll ever be able to save enough money for a down payment. I wonder what your stance is in regards to continuing on a career as a PM, especially coming from Anastasia. How has your journey in Canada looked like? Work 74 years to pay 1 year’s tuition? Really??\n\nI know that 1 CAD will get you approx. 60 INR, but wages have increased dramatically in India, so I don’t know how the math was done to assert that it would take 74 years to pay 1 year’s tuition.\n\nI checked Alpha college’s tuition fee for 4 semesters or two years, and it’s $31,130 or $15,565 for 1 year, which, in today’s market exchange rate is, less than INR 940,000. \n\nI know and have several relatives in India who makes anywhere between CAD equivalent of $8000 and $20000 per year. Not sure what the wages are in Punjab, but can’t imagine that assertion is correct. Irrespective, I know that even CAD $15,565 is very high for most Indian families.

It's a sad reality, I'm not from India, but watching this bought tears to my eyes, this is not a way to treat innocent kids who's parents work so hard to give them a better life and Education, shame on everyone who's involved., this is not what Canada is about, this is not the Canada I know...shame, shame, shame ..

I have worked in US for almost 12 years and now back in India, and you'll be shocked to know that I'm getting double of what I was earing in US here in India,,, \nIt's youth who need to understand that you need to be skilled to get jobs,, India is growing rapidly and it has immense potential

I feel sorry about those students being misled and going through such experience but I know that there are a responsible agencies and schools out there to support international students to succeed. On the other hand, I unfortunately witnessed some landlord(permanent residents) facing so much trouble with those with international students or working holiday visa like unpaid rent, breaking the rental agreement and damaging the property. Well, in my personal opinion, there should be a system in place to educate temporary residents before their visa is issued and to guide them to the right direction upon their arrival.

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

Met up with a young man from India. From our talk he could be from a relatively well off Family. He was lured to Europe for studies. Paying up to 20,000€ per year. For his upkeep he had to work some jobs he would never take up in his country. But we all know. An education abroad sell more ???

The responsibility lies with the parents, it's your money, do your due diligence...\nCanada doesn't need more post secondary graduates, we need general laborers, minimum wage fruit pickers, baristas, Walmart employees...careers are few and far between!! \nFor every person who makes $60,000 a year, there are 20,000 others working in fast food or minimum wage, no one I know who graduated with a post secondary education works in the field of their education...one friend with a aerospace degree is working at burger King flipping burgers lol

I am transgender and out, basically broke the relationship with my family. I’m living alone in the US as an international student (CN citizen) and suffering from the living cost and tuition even though I have a part-time job, and I’m gonna lose it soon because I have to change my visa to a student visa that does not allow me to work outside of campus. I am thinking about transferring to a Canadian university because I’m poor and lonely without family anyway (lol), and I just can’t resist the temptation of starting my life again in a different place while healing my trauma. Moreover, it’s more immigrant-friendly (note I am still going through a visa change in the US), maybe I will not be in the daily fear of having to go back to China, where is definitely not trans-friendly. But I’m so anxious on the other hand. What if I end up unemployed; what if I run out of money…I’m simply uncertain about how to find somewhere queer-friendly to survive with a secured shelter and money enough for food. I’m sorting everything out…please let me know if you have any similar experiences in Canada. Anything can be very helpful.

I was born and raised in Canada. My family immigrated in the 70s. Growing up I was proud to be Canadian but after living in other parts of the world I can tell you, Canada isn't it! \n\nFirstly our Prime Minister is a puppet he works for the Commonwealth and whatever they say goes, they profit off all of your hard work. \nThey keep you sick so you rely on the health care system. Medicate you instead of solving the problem. Doctors are exhausted, rude and over worked, emergency rooms are a disaster and if you book an appointment to see your doctor...be sure you're waiting at least a week. If you go to a walk in clinic you risk getting a doctor that seems like they paid for a fake degree.\n\nYou know when you go to a mall in one town and then hear about a mall in another town that has really cool different things??? Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. There needs to be more indoor things for people to do in the winter. \n\nWhoever said Canadians are polite, has never been to Alberta!!!! I've never experienced racism in my life like I did out west, not just Alberta but also Northwest Territories and Manitoba. \n\nOn top of that they want everyone to be gay and not believe in God, they push the agenda so hard in the schools, they institutionalize and confuse your kids. If you believe anything different they literally hate you. The children are hypersexualized...teenage girls looking like they're 30 year old drag queens. They bully kids so badly in school, especially boys. Parents have no time to get involved because they're busying working multiple jobs to pay for their 4000 dollar mortgage, husband and wife barely see each other. And because they're not involved the children have no respect for their elders or teachers. the teachers don't care to get involved like they used to because everything's a liability...a problem. We had a 13 year old girl call a male teacher a pedophile for pushing a little girl on the swing. He quit on the spot, because now he's worried for his career. Honest review. I lived in ontario, better say Toronto. Car insurance, rent, work life balance. The good thing is the vibe and some basic things you don't fight alot to attain, the place is vividly. Their economic policies suppress growth people struggle to beyong and you must be equipped with many relevant skills apart from degree. What gives you money in Canada is your own business, risk jobs, most importantly your money source is coming from somewhere and you just invest there in houses, etc. \nThe country is nice and alot of events in the summer, but when the winter comes is really tough and you feel limited if you don't drive, if don't know places to socialise. The minimum wage is very low until this day. In reality everyone has an individual journey, and every experience may be completely different dispite any barriers they may achieve and make their dream come true, but still it will be a very small number.

I'm listening to hear how Canada is not a desirable place to live, bc I have thought it would be a better alternative to the USA. But it still sounds better than life in the USA, if even just slightly. ?\nSo far, I hear 30% taxes on income (which is same in the USA).\nYou have free healthcare, however you have to wait in emergency room for 8 hours.....we DON'T have free healthcare....and guess what? $450+ later, we have still waited 4-10 hours in the ER. \nHere in the USA, our cost of living is insanely high compared to a single and even a double income. Our lowest rent is $1,200 to live in low income surroundings. A rent around $1,800/month will bring you to nicer surroundings in an apartment, but still surrounding areas have crime. \nFood costs are so high, Gas is so high. We haven't bought new clothes for ourselves in YEARS, only for our kids. \nDaycare is $485-500 month per child, even before and after school care. \nHealth insurance averages $145/per person per month, not to mention car insurance which is required to drive. \nSegregation has improved here but is ever being integrated back into our society as racism is kept very alive, even as they constantly teach it in the schools. They say it's to teach history but I believe it is just reinforcing racist ways and thinking patterns. \nI don't blame anyone for wanting to return to the comfort of their own people, language and living and country. \nYou may have us with the cold/hot weather in Canada! \nI didn't know about the Canadian passport being so opportunistic for travelling. That's cool ? \nAs far as desired profession, there are many doctors and teachers that come here to the USA from other countries and are now working as a clerk in the dollar stores here in the US. \nAnd forget work life balance here too. Cost of living here causes so much disruption in our family life. Debt is revolving.\nMy fiance's mother comes from a country in West Africa. She longs to return. She calls the USA a place you come to be a work rat. \nBesides free healthcare, it sounds like USA and Canada are similar. \nOne thing I've heard about Canada is that the government cares about kindness, as well as the banks. I hear that people are generally more courteous in Canada than they are here in the US.
