Im a 10 gen canadian. Have a skilled trade under my belt. They say theres a shortage. But i can't get a job. Applying for jobs all across canada still nothing. But it seems these immigrants can just walk straight into these job no experience or training. Ive even gone back to school. Struggle with the writting side of the courses. But the people who dont understand a word of english pass with 90's. So i know have 2 degrees and on the job experience with a skilled trade. And still cant even get an interview after putting out hundreds of resumes. But the walk in and get hired on the spot. Not fair at all

Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. The moment some says truth we Indians start bashing and may say go to Canada but we don’t realize our own problems and don’t wanna work.

This is the main issue in Canada. We are stuck in so many ways. Our economy is the worst in the G7, so we need to mass import migrants to artificially increase our GDP. But with that, our cost of living will artificially stay high from the increased demand on the housing. All while suppressing wages. All while our government refuses to increase our key natural exports, like crude oil, or nuclear materials. We really are in shambles. Really we need to rip the band aid off, and pause all migration from india for the next five years, not even allowing chain migration. Maintain a manageable rate of legal migration (the US normally has 1 million migrants a year as a high, to a population of 300 million). While getting our pipelines built. Stop the woke shit that is destroying us. Right now every housing project requires an 18 month pause to make sure that the native lands are recognized through a corrupt archeological study (ever since the residential school mass grave hoax). Build houses like crazy, allowing for one additional farm land residential severance. And then stop the regulatory suppression from the federal government on corporations. We have zero money being invested into Canada and it will lead to us having a worse economic outlook than Mexico in less than ten years. Imagine the world thinking of Canada as a third world country. That's where we are heading without some serious shift in how we approach our policy.

I would say India has the overall better & dynamic healthcare system. Comparing to healthcare facilities in western nation, in India the waiting time to consult a specialist, even a super-specialist is too too low, maximum a week waiting time. Easy accessible, low waiting times also associated with few cons like, people don't respect the doctors, healthcare system. The prime example is rising trend of abuse and physical assault to doctors in India which is hardly seen in any western countries. Nowadays Central govt funded Ayushman Bharat and many state funded universal health care schemes/ insurances also benefiting the patients, giving them access to get treatment in top private hospital without paying from own pocket. Indian healthcare is not perfect, may not the best but its towards better and bent towards the affordability.

What makes it even worse if not only Brampton. They are moving everywhere in Canada. Before you know, it’ll all become like Brampton. They also only hire each other so not only are they taking over your country, they won’t even hire you. This is huge problem. You have no idea how bad it will get. So something about it now.

I moved to canada to finish highschool and university, and honeslty, I cant wait to go back home. Im under a lot of stress to finish my school before things get even worse. My parents work as building managers for a company, and even though the price of our apartment is lowered because of that, we still have to fight every day just to not go homeless, even though we live on 2 paychecks. We are 1 minor inconvenience away from going completely bankrupt and homeless, canada is honestly one of the worst countries to be right now. I'd rather be at home, in my politically corrupt and underdeveloped country than be in canada, because at least in my home country, i can get good pay and live without fear of going homeless.

Canada is also a place where being a criminal is far more honorable and beneficial to local communities. Because that illegal money flows into local economies. The problem is greed stupidity and corruption. we think that voting for some other vegetable in a suite is going to change anything. we flip flop between 2 parties that both serve themselves and their buddies. We need to start over and build a system that has rules based on logic and totally blind to who they apply to. Canadais a joke and the people are powerless and don't do a thing about it. Lazy cowardly little sheeple. I was born here and I hate it... Ya wanna know who thinks canada and canadians are loved worldwide and who think their country is the most liberal and advanced.. As a fairly liberal Canadian, immigration is the only subject that makes me move to the center-right politically. We don't have the ressources to feed, house and care for 1.5 million new people every year, much less the Canadians already here. Justin Trudeau has been hurting the country with his open door migration policy because he's too scared to lose his brownie points from the far left. Any other politician is too scared to say anything negative and concrete on immigration because it's considered political suicide, but the tide is changing with Canadians. We don't want anymore would be asylum seekers or foreign students working and overstaying their visas because WE CAN'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES ANYMORE. Yes, our birth rates are too low and we need some immigration to help close the population decline gap that will eventually come, but it can't be a free for all. We can barely afford rent, groceries, healthcare, etc. now and I fear it will only get worse in the coming years. At this point, as an early 30 something year old, I will never own a home or even be able to move without dishing out 60-80% of my income for rent. None of this is viable long term, we're reaching the point of criticality

People miss these because theyre so fast to jump that youre a racist if you say anything about it. \n\nTheyre not assimilating, like how we did. I was really lucky to visit Toronto in 2000-2002 and practice some Portuguese and Italian. The first time, I came by train from Chicago and arrived at 1 AM. I was scared as I waited for the trolley on Dundas St. But to my surprise there was a young lady enjoying the late night and she even talked to me (something that wouldn't happen in Southern CA). I discovered that if was safe to walk until 2 AM in Toronto. It was really pleasant to explore Little Portugal, Chinatown and other neighborhoods. I remember that it hit the 30s with some humidity, but the reward was taking a bus to Niagara Falls at 50% off for being a student. However, I was sad to discover that the old transportation is gone, and prices have skyrocketed (food and hotels). It's not just Covid-19, but the corruption of thousands of politicians in NorthAmerica that have started wars and the flow of drugs and people. I would never think that Canada could change so drastically. But I still think that Toronto could be enjoyable ( what I really didn't like was the subway, since the stations are far away from important sites as opposed to Montréal that is so convenient). I still remember how Pearson airport was enjoyable to walk. But to see encampments like LA, SD or SF in Toronto is really sad. Hopefully, in the near future it gets cleaned up. You can't destroy what took decades to build and admire in a few years. Safety is always a concern in 2024, but Toronto is much better than CA.

In all fairness to doctors and nurses trained in canada there is a set limit each school can have and its not a high number. In BX almost every single person you see here working are indian i cant even gfet a job as most will now only hire indians. We cant talk about it in canada we get screamed at and called a racist then dismised they dont care what we want or have to say.

I commute 2 hours one direction to get to my school in Mississauga because I can’t find housing there. I can’t afford anything other than the examples you put in your video of slumlord housing, and even with those, I can’t get into at least half of them because I’m not Indian.

Honestly, the cost of living is high everywhere.. There is no government of any nation that really cares for the people.. I live in Jamaica, and if you don't have links, survival in this country is almost impossible, and if you should get a job, if you don't discipline yourself to live within your means/ budget, you will only find yourself in debts.. Each nation's economy will get worse.. That's why our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.. I understand that they are people who don't know this name and there are some that are aware of it but hate it, but the truth is, eventually we will all figure out one by one that we can't trust man, only God Almighty.. And even with the Lord on our side, we will still face difficulties, but he will always come to our rescue, we just need to trust him.. Don’t come to New Zealand we can’t even house our own citizens here , rents are high and houses are few to rent , but we do need Teachers, Nurses , Police personnel and Doctors and qualified people will get jobs

most newcomers to any country struggle especially since most are not bringing in wads of cash to start a business but literally scraping in using life savings just to get here - however once here with residential status a national health care and level of income security for unemployment benefits is an added bonus which you won't get in every country regardless of residency status but refugees and others come in with no money at all as well as problems in some cases with language barriers, but as bad as everyone thinks it is the grass is not greener on the other side just because you're paying lower taxes but privatising infrastructure only makes things more expensive even when you're not taxed.... and Canada is a huge country with very limited number of tax payers such a small market would double costs for private business too - and just cos things may be cheaper you may find you don't fit as well as you thought..... and also the more you move the less time you have to settle and grow into the space you find yourself now....I've lived in 3 very different countries so I understand how difficult it is.... and how some places regardless of cost just fit better than others.... Vancouver real-estate is essentially a money laundering operation for rich foreigners looking to stash their money somewhere. Protections were put in place a little to late back in 2016 with the foreign buyers tax. But honestly most of these foreigners can either be exempt from this tax with their citizenship loop hole (anchor baby) Or honestly they just pay the fine since they can afford it and just need to get their money out of the country they are coming from. Its quite dystopian because building more homes like the government keeps promising isn't going to solve the problem either. To top it off, BC just recently passed a law in 2024 where you can no longer build single family residences in the lower mainland area. WHERE are the families going to go then? Can anyone even afford a family anymore? Vancouverites like myself who were diligent and saved every penny are walking away from mortgages in droves because who wants to lock into a 30 year term amortization period where at rate plus prime your looking at 5.5%-7% where the bank makes more than double in interest from you. Over the course of 30 years you still lose because even if your property appreciates past double. Capital Gains will take into effect. Your loosing money no matter what! It truly is a nightmare designed to enslave you financially. This is simply wealth creation suicide. Came from immigrant parents in the 1990s, I slaved for 10 years during my twenties, didn't come from wealth, didn't party, didn't have fun, studied hard, and started a business and I still cant break into the Vancouver market. So I ended up just barely squeaking into the market in Abbotsford. Vancouverites as a whole are screwed. Time to pack up and move to Alberta I suppose. Eh, yes, this is wrong but I live by Indians and they are the most annoying pieces of crap I have ever had to deal with. We have the biggest difference in average wage to average cost of living out here and something big needs to change

In the course I take at college it cost me about $3500 for a year, an immigrant students pays about $15,000 for the same course (electrical engineer). Also, they get their pays taxes even more then residents.

Idk if you mention this but in NS the gov pays 75% of immigrant wages meaning employers prefer hiring immigrants over citizens. I lost my family doctor 2 years ago and haven’t gotten a new one. My kids did as well. And walk in clinics are literally lined up outside the door every day. \nAnd I’ll add the culture of India is a lot different than Canadian culture especially when it comes to customer service.. even getting our doubles doubles has been effected. \nAnd I’ll mention the immigrants often have no kids or family with them.. they live all in 1 place even 8 people in a 1 bedroom and they will have multiple jobs. I’m a Canadian and my wife is an immigrant for Punjab and even she thinks this is all getting out of control. She came here to start a new life with me after we met and to get away from Indian culture which she thinks is now seeping into everything. In India it’s survival of the fittest, one must do everything they do and take advantage of everything in order to scrap by. Canada and the Canadian mindset isn’t equipped to handle that, so it’s no surprise you’re suddenly seeing Indians everywhere who are telling Indians back home how to exploit the systems to get more money fast. Hijacking what systems Canadians have to gain the social mobility that they can’t have in India but in doing so they’re making it like India. They don’t respect any other culture than their own my wife won’t even step foot in Brampton because it looks, sounds, and even starting to smell like India. And the problem is being exasperated because these people who are from very tight families are trying to bring their whole families too people who are elderly with no literacy or language skills to integrate into Canadian society to work and contribute to the economy so they just live off of their children who came first. If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

I don't care about a person's race or background stop letting people into our country and help our people first. A country should come first before helping others out. If another country is under threat of invasion then help them out. Back when I was about to attend college in India, the dorm had one tiny room with two bunk beds, totaling 8 people in 9sqm space. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. We cannot continue with this.....every time one of these places destabilizes they end up on the CBC waiving their Canadian passports demanding the Canadian government do something to get them out. \n The Author of the video is correct. IT isn't about hate or xenophobia...Its about making sure that people who come here want to be here, Are taken care of properly, contribute to Canada and its development, integrate into out society and culture, and do not make life harder for the people - ALL OF THEM - already here.
