And after all that rare illnesses in canada as stated don't have any coverage meaning that any one hit with hit rare illness finds out the hard way they can either pay for life saving medication or well pass on.. as most Canadian are taxed to high to have any substantial savings available for such an emergency as they fall into the trap that the government has me covered. \n\nSo each system has its positives and negatives and as far as I'm concerned it's not talked about enough honestly up hear.\n\nIf you have been to the dentist in canada thats basically the usa system, though the prices are fixed in some areas so some services won't be available.. as they don't update the payment schedule often enough so certain procedures pay well, other well can actually cost the dentist out of pocket. \nTherefore in some areas you can't get certain procedures done at all the dentist will refuse.

Coming from Germany we are used to high taxes. If I’d earn 100k CAD here I would get only 55k...but health insurance is already covered.\nBe aware when you start working in Canada but you’re not considered a permanent resident in that tax year. You have to pay a higher tax rate since you’re not a permanent resident. So if they hire you as a permanent resident (what they usually do cause they don’t know) you need to pay extra after submitting your tax return ;-)

Canada has been getting rich off all the Chinese immigrants for year's. Starting with Expo and the man that everyone loves Jim Pattison. Do your research. The growing Chinese population is rising and molding Canada to be a new version of China. The problem is that it's happening everywhere and the new problem is that it's become easier to play and flash the overused racist/discriminative card. If the government does not act now and recognize their manifestation of this major problem that is shifting Canada's true values and this will grow out of hand and it will be to late. There is bias in the experiments having the presumption of being treated differently. I did a test going into different stores of the same name and I was treated differently. I also was treated differently by women compared to men. Younger individuals compared to older and depending on the section of store. I never look around to see if someone is around me and when I did start looking, people were there. Could it be we are looking for flaws in people? Society today is being taught skin color, gender and ethnicity are THE reasons you get attention from someone else. There are extremely rude and immorally questionable people in this world, yes. Okay. A lot of people here have no clue how the immigration system works both in the US and in Canada. “He should just have come here legally”. Well, most of the time a legal path to emigrating to the US/Canada just does not exist, and its getting more and more impossible to be granted asylum. In the US you can’t just apply for a work visa, you can’t just apply for a green card. You got to be eligible to apply for it. For a work visa you need a job offer first, you need proof of income and most of the time the employer will have to prove they couldn’t find an American to take the position. To get a green card you either have to get married to an American, invest at least $500,000 or try applying for asylum (which is almost impossible to get nowadays). ALSO to apply for asylum you need to be either inside the US or at a US port of entry. Try to be less “patriotic” and more empathetic. People flee their countries because of war, violence, cartels, gangs, terrorism, etc. They are desperate and want to protect their families and have a better life. If you were in their shoes and staying in your home country put your family in great harm you would have done the same thing. People need to stop judging, stop being selfish and start leading with empathy.

My nephew is native and he'll do fine. his parents are amazing and he's ridiculously brilliant so i don't see him doing anything but succeed, but a kid without the back up of a strong family and his IQ, heck i don't think it will go well. it does hurt his feelings, even at his young age the other kids he's in school with are very disappointing.\ni have witnessed this discrimination almost every time i am where natives are other than where they are well known. I'm native and I get followed alot. ALSO AT A SHOPPERS DRUG MART the girl kept asking to bring my items to the cashier. I had a few makeup items which were small I wasnt struggling holding them I said no thanks. So she kept following me watching me. I eventually got fed up put the items back and then I could see her wondering where they went and she asked I said I put them back in not a their stop following me you just lost a customer then she started tryna act like she wasnt doing anything

Truth = Hate speach so watch out. The real story may end up being that Canada has spent 100’s of millions of dollars for unqualified illegals beacause of Trudeau’s self protion campaign but Canada’s Dr’s have adamantly stated the healthcare system is always operating at 100% capacity. When people start dying because there are not enough resources to save them it will get ugly. TRUE STORY : first time i went to Costco, i was ignored and rude to. Finally, i asked why am i being ignored? He apologized and offer to assist me. The only problems I can see with blind recruitment is, the person's application might be accepted, but if they have to interview in person they can still be rejected. Of if it is a phone interview and you have an accent you might not make pass it. Even if you get hired with blind recruitment and not interview is required, once you start working, if you are a minority some employers might look for ways to fire you. So it's a good concept, but still needs a little tweaking.

It does hurt sometimes. One time me and a first nation older woman where running frantically to meet a bus, the driver could see us and he just left. We were about 30 seconds to the bus but he deliberately left in the freezing winter period, she was elderly. We both new it's because we were visible minority, not all drivers do this and in fact it was the first time it happened. Second case is getting an apartment that I've witnessed, though it hurt sometimes I don't necessarily blame them. If we want to make a change then we have to start with ourselves. I wish the United States would face this issue. I've been attacked in a store for unfair, and unfounded suspension. I am treated differently in no less than 75% of stores I go into. The employees stare me down, follow me... I'm going to start filming these people. It's not fair to be harrassed for S.W.B. It's sad, I was born this color, yet I am less than, or just plain bad before I even speak, or act in the minds of many, especially law enforcement. It's sad. It's depressing.
