As a hindi speaking Indian I.T. professional, I don't understand why Punjabis, Gujaratis, and Tamil Indians are always dying to move to Canada? I lived in Canada and didn't find Canada all that great. I'd say America is a far better country than Canada. I guess it's mostly blue collar immigrants who are desperate to move to Canada, live with 6+ adults and don't mind dealing with racist disrespectful Canadians. It's funny this guy is making YouTube videos with a title Time to Leave. It's the Canadian governments who has been desperately bringing blue collar immigrants from all over the world for the past 30 years. It's not only Liberals. Cons brought 400K each year too. Canadian economy is dependent on housing and bringing immigrants. Canadian Colleges, unionized employees, and unions LOVE bringing International students from India so they can enjoy those luxury wages and benefits. Blame the Canadian Colleges and those unionized White management who hold events in India. The fact of the matter is this YouTuber is another frustrated whining Canadian who has NO power or authority but loves to whine. His opinions are just opinions and will not change anything. Canadians with power will continue bringing 3rd world immigrants and students. Lmao

I only see India everywhere ?. Went to Surrey to watch hockey few weeks ago, and yup my friend said yup I'm the only white guy in the city????. Too funny. Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.

Lets not forget boomers are complicit in this. They reaped all benifits of living in a thriving homogenous country with good wages. They were able to purchase homes, have families and make a living wage. Now they expect younger generations to pay for them in retirement. We have paided for all of their excesses. Now not native canadians will be able afford any of those things because they are importing people to prop up pensions and benifits for boomers with foreigners who will never assimilate and do not respect canadian culture.

Canadian Born people in Brampton aren't jobless because there are immigrants. They are jobless because they have no education and there isn't a lot of work out there apparently. Crime isn't related to the Indian population. It is related to no work, no education, living in the streets and doing drugs so once again, to Canadian Born people. But congrats for trying to make us feel like the unemployment, crime rate, etc. are Indians fault! You did a pretty good job at giving us that impression!

The shame on the Canadian justice system for taking this long to make this move. Think how the families feel having this over their heads for this amount of time. I have no faith in the Canadian Government or Justice system, this is a broken country that puts offenders first with no regard for victims.

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. But ur Canadian govt policies and support towards khalistaani movement make many punjabi people to move to canada. Im not saying anything about immigration like it is good or bad but one thing is clear its all ur Canadian govt policies which are responsible for this scale of immigration.

All Indian drivers need to go thru a mandatory driving test, I have noticed lack of English and knowledge of Canadian laws make them dangerous drivers in Canada. They are very risky driver, they behave like driving in India not in Canada.

If i start a legal business, and tomorrow government policy makes it illegal, i can’t tell the government to let me continue with the business, which is now illegal, just because i am already invested. \n\nThere is inherent risk in everything, and these protesters took that risk without much calculation. \n\nIf Canadian govt. gives in, it’ll set a really wrong precedence. It’ll basically mean that you don’t have to comply with rules; just cry and we’ll give you the candy you are asking for.

A sad end for this gentleman who was trying to make a new home for himself in Canada> Yet, he is not the only guilty of bad driving: just travel the QE 2 from Crossfield to Calgary or Okotoks to Calgary, hmmm, don't think we'll see too many complaints there... Many white faces amongst those who drive badly, poorly and dangerously. The Canadian road test is piss poor in comparison to the UK and Europe: no 3 point turns, reversing around a corner or emergency stop. Even more comical is when you get a green light to go you then have to yield to the white man for people crossing: a messed up country in more ways than one.

If it’s ruled that he’s to be deported(which I agree with) then deport him. If he wishes to appeal on whatever grounds, he can make his appeal from his home country. I personally think that any immigrant found guilty of a serious crime should be deported, but Canadian citizenship prevents that I believe…which is why I don’t think citizenship should only be granted to those born in Canada, leaving the option to deport on the table if you engage in nefarious activities. \nThe fact that he has children born that require health care that’s “only available here” isn’t a factor. He should reap what he sows.

I found people who blame immigration for this , ridiculous at best ! What caused this , has been decades in the making well before Trudeau and it’s government. \nBoth parties are responsible for this . \n\nThe wages have stalled for decades while everything else has gone up . Look at the minimum wedges in Australia and NZ comparing to their cost of life ? You have the same rental and real estate prices for double the salaries . \n\nLetting foreign interest buy out land and properties trough bidding wars to the point of kicking out Canadians of the market caused this . Prioritising the construction of luxury condos instead of building more affordable houses caused this . \n\nBut please keep blaming immigrants who work their ass off in jobs that most of you refuse to do , instead of blaming the lack of all of the successive governments to address an issue they knew was going to hit us in the face one day .

They're all aware of this scam that's why they work for next to nothing making the job market harder and harder for canadians as the weeks go by.

People from India have a long, strong history in Canada due to their strong allegiance to the Queen and monarchy. They have never caused problems. If their churches thrive it's because they actually go to church whilst Canadians let theirs go to to waste. The violence we see is not random East Indians popping off on the go train, let's be honest. Their mafia is no different from the ones we have had in each culture. They are welcome imho plus they make great food.

Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. It will be getting worse and worse in the coming future, believe or not. Good luck new Canadian immigrants.

I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.

No Canadian will take a macdonal job, not even teens, that is a fact. Another thing is that there is a shortage of high skill jobs, but most people has not that specific skill. Many provinces offer free training but only to Canadians, the ones that are not interested in this type of jobs. if there is 17000 positions that cannot be filled and 17,000 people unemployed it is i possible to use those unemployees to fill the open positions because they are not trained in that specific skill. Also companies ask stupid job requirements which make it more difficult.

Brazilian here, living in Canada for 13 yrs and a Canadian citizen for 5 years. \nI’ll just say this: You have no idea how good you got. Is it perfect? Far from it. Is it the worst place on earth to live? Definitely not. If you’re basing all your opinion on cost of living only that makes zero sense.

As an Indian these so called students were dumb to leave India where growth is taking place and go to Canada, I think in long run it is good if a few get dissed. This video reeks of Racism, laws (if they want to be fair) can never retrospective in nature/application. All the students who are already in Canada should have the option to be eligible for a PR, they (the Indian students) went there for a better life, they have their entire existence dependent on the fact of becoming a Canadian citizen eventually. Deporting them would be a loss for India as well as Canada, as many of them will end up with depression and feeling of failure. \n\nThe Canadian government must allow these student who are already in the country to apply for citizenship and make citizenship and PR rules stricter going forward. From what I know, Sikhs are upstanding and outstanding community and great addition to any society, Canada will be much better off having them, than leaving them in a bad state by deporting them.

The balls on these people. They need to leave the country when they are supposed to legally do so. Canada and actual Canadians should take a stand on this and don’t back down. I do not drink coffee or eat fast food. So I have no need for these people. Get your education and get out. I am an immigrant that came to Canada legally. No one bent the rules for me nor for people whom I have met here that are also immigrants all legally from several different nations in Europe as well as Caribbean and South American. All actually hold decent paying jobs nurses, engineers business owners ect. They work hard to make a life for themselves and their families to become successful Canadians. Send all these students back when their time is up. Go home international students. Work on making your home country so good that you will never want to come back....because you are creating problems here for native-born Canadians by clogging up our health care system, our schools, our housing, and our national identity. yes, the immigration minister will simply boost along the citizenship process as a way to address the numbers they allowed but couldn't manage or get continued support from canadians for. but during lockdowns ei requirements were dropped to minimal numbers with a min rate of $500 per week extended to 52 weeks. the mass gutting of the ei fund is staggering.. maybe that explains the dedication to increasing the carbon tax, oh, and the need for other ppl to fund it along with our youngest generations, as you pointed out. that part makes good sense

They don't care about Canada and its locals, and culture, and native languages (english & french). I came to Canada in 2019 to study Master's at a highly-ranked Canadian University. I thought I'll have good education, and if I get a good job in my industry in Canada, I'll be easily able to apply for PR. Well, I completed my degree, I got a job, gained experience, but now the Express Entry system is so messed up that I cannot score that high!\n\nYes, I blame those shady colleges who offered admission to fake students, I blame those students who did not come to study but to apply for asylum. Because of them, everything is messed up. I agree that not all international students are entitled to get PR. But, those who are skilled should get a fair chance, like before. Not everyone comes here to make coffee at Tims.\n\nI saw my friend who could barely talk in English getting PR before me through the TR to PR pathway in 2021. I couldn't apply because he finished his degree earlier cz his was a College Diploma of 1 year and mine was a Master's degree.\n\nIT IS FRUSTRATING.
