Student visa does not entitle overseas students to jobs, PR, right to protest against the Canadian government policies. Do it in your iwn countries where you come from. Period

Students come to get PR not for study . When no easy PR , few will come .

Individuals like these tarnish the image of India on the global stage. They often lack a proper understanding of laws and policies. To begin with, the Indian education system is superior to that of Canada, so there's little justification for going to Canada and contributing to their economy for an education that is often subpar. Secondly, no country is obligated to grant citizenship simply because someone has studied there—that’s a fundamental principle. Taking a loan to study abroad is a personal choice, not a guarantee of future residency. Many of these individuals are students who couldn't secure admission to top Indian institutions. Deportation is a reasonable consequence in such cases.

I taught at a puppy mill college in Vancouver in 2023. I had two classes of 70 students, 67 of whom were Indians, and the only student who was actually studying was a Japanese woman, one of the three non-Indians, lol.

Why students are allowed to work while studying in Canada, and get their PR AFTERWARDS.

Canada is no like USA we dont have so many jobs, the ones we have should be giving to people who from here no to international students.

They came here as students after studying they should go back to their homeland. Not to take over jobs away from young Canadians. They should have their own health insurance not to use OHIP .

I am Indian and those Indian students must get back to India and try help the country grow. Being an Indian we must stop harming someone else country and help to build our own country. If we Indians had to leave India for better life then why we have got independence form\n Britain at first place.

How are these people students. The two interviewed aren't even speaking English. How do they take classes?

Do not fight for an issue that seemingly does not concern you.\nThis issue relates to the government of India. \nMAY BE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HIRE THE TEACHERS from foreign countries , WHERE india's own system is lacking. \nAt the same time, if a trained person leaves for a overseas for a job,indian government should demand certain persentage of money for a decided number of years,just like if a citizen emigrates from Canada or America.\nMost importantly,citizens should not try to exploit a new country they want to live inin. Both countries should take serious action on crooks who\nLpay the games with innocent young students and their famy and both countries.

Shame for Indians student to protest in another country, they went for education, complete & return,\nIndia is better.

There needs to be a moratorium on foreign students and immigrants. 5 years. We need to get our country back. We also need to change the demographic of who we allow into this country because it's driven Canada into the ground.

The whole student visa racket is, Canada making money of ignorant international students, it's another source of revenue for Canada. Beware students, don't waste your parents hard earned money, Canada is now realizing that it cannot continue with this racket that it has been running.

Hi Igor, this is my first time on your channel, and I respectfully disagree with your views. The Canadian government creates rules and policies for the benefit of its citizens and residents. It's not the government's fault if there's animosity towards some Indians, as some seem too entitled—criticizing the government despite being just students or immigrants. What evidence do they have for claiming that Indian students are protesting because schools failed them? The issue of Indians defecating on the beach is true, and there was never a promise of permanent residency for Indian students studying in Canada.

Ask the college to stop taking too many students.

Plus everyone of them lied on there application as student there not here for education it's to get there p.r. faster they should all be deported going back to 2015

I am Canadian. My problem is not with the Indians, it the rate of immigration is far out pacing our infrastructures to support all of them. There's a lot of greed fueling issues. Foreigners are being exploited for cheap labor and wage suppression, indian students are being pumped into colleges at inflated rates. There was a lobby group called the century initiative that really pushed for 100mil Canadians by year 2100 that seems to have been a big part of why there was such an aggressive push. It's members were affiliated with companies that stood to profit greatly from the housing crisis.\n\nIndians are not the problem. It's a fucked up system and a lag in infrastructure. I want all that come here to thrive, and it's possible. We need to come together in order to problem solve this. \nWe can lead with empathy, and revolt with innovation. Look for opportunities to begin positive feedback loops with locals. I've noticed the accent can really make or break an interaction between Indians and locals. Really focus on perfecting the language and the local manners is my first suggestion for newcomers. \nSecondly is just to get involved. When locals see foreigners joining them in efforts to improve the community we warm up to them. When prejudice divides us, we are enabling the exploitation by the ruling classes that are disconnected from our hardship.\n\nGood luck

You would think these students, who have been given the opportunity to have a good education, would take those skills home to their own country, and try and fix what is wrong there.

Hey Igor, I feel your view is understandable but the issue I see is mostly in Ontario. There are many examples of people who seem to be from a particular community creating issues there, I have heard of persons who don't seem to understand how to communicate and making things difficult for other groups of people, coming to canada to work and slacking in their studies which is why they are in canada and also where people who are PR unable to get a job because only international students are getting hired. but I agree the government need to put better regulations in place to prevent people from being taken advantage of and hire people based on qualification and make the work place more diverse where possible with fair wages that are liveable as well as understand that they sold canada as the place to be for anyone to gain citizenship from the education stream

I don't blame those Indian students that much. They come to Canada and need time to learn and blend in communities. Instead, it is the crazy liberal government and it's mismanagement to be blamed. Most of the Indian students are victims of their mismanagement too.

the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. If they lied and cheated on the system i don't think we should feel bad. Canada used to have higher standards. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Most if not all people that come in from Africa are left on the streets while the your country men, indian, and white looking are given a free house, food budget, and dont have to work.. We paying more for taxes and the government has increased work force by 40% yet wait time for services has trippled 3X, make it make sense.

It's not an anti-india policy. It's a policy that is protecting Canadian citizens due to the fact that there is a housing shortage if we cannot house the people that are born here. There are over 1,000,000 Indians here in America who came here on a tourist or student visa who never went back home once their visa expired. They are living here illegally. Thousands of Indians are flooding across our Southern border into the U.S. They then claim they are persecuted back home in the world’s biggest democracy and apply for political asylum. This is all very dishonest! Indians are coming here for economic reasons. And they have no interest in our American way of life here of freedom and equality. Also from what I hear they’ve misplaced 1, million immigrants in this country apparently and considering United States is 10 times bigger that would be equal to like 10 million. Maybe they were ready for deportation who knows but they never went. They just kind of disappeared. Also there a month away from deporting 70,000 international students that think that just because they went to school here means that they have the right to permanently stay but regardless of that just letting you know that those people are probably gonna try to head south for the border.

Its about time. Colleges in Canada ?? have been creating stupid courses marketed to other countries whose sole purpose is to create an avenue for international students to come to Canada, who then, soend some time at svhool but essentially fill up affordable housing and all of the low skilled jobs. This isnt about racism, its about doubled rents and no jobs for tax paying Canadians.

The students should get hold of the education agents in India and settle scores with them.
