If these Indians are willing to work minimum wage jobs, that entitled Canadians refuse to do, they have the Right to stay?

sooo if I only see Indians and Chinese, who only hire, marry and help each other, but hunt me down if I try to date any of their sisters..then how am I the racist? because I have blond hair and blue eyes? I didn't know it worked that way

I talked with my Indian friend who is working at Tim’s now. I said,” I'm not an Indian international student, do I have the chance to work in your branch”? He said no! I understand that they want to help their people overseas, but it also breaks the diversity as well. You go to Walmart, Tims most of them are Indians. I told him even though the Chinese supermarket and the restaurant hired Indians, I had never seen any Indians hire Chinese in here. I don't want to say this is discrimination, It is just about order and fairness.

I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Someone above asked why so much Indians. you see indian student's out there - yes they had to pay 20K-40000CAD FEES to colleges + now a days 20,600 CAD GIC to Banks in Canada. \nEach in total spends 40-80k cad. \n\nAnd every day from the tim cup , pizza/ burger to food delivery you see indian. Student/ work permit holders/ pr they work up to built our canada. \nTalk about health care ( Doctors,nurses,psw,dentist) Transportation, \nhard- cheap labour,\n IT projects, Constructions, mechanics....name it you have INDIAN playing a major role. \n\nHow did canada expanded and devolped so well ? The Liberal government will likely find some form of permit extension for about a year or 2, because to initiate any form of deportation will look bad politically. They will leave the problem for the Conservative government to deal with knowing it will be difficult to depart hundreds of thousands of international Indian students/temporary foreign works (and other people groups), and manipulate the situation to gain political capital.

Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... Also, these indians came legally no? In a democratic Canada that let them in... people voted for this directly or indirectly. Also, to your point, its the whites that are homeless and on drugs, how are indians to blame for white failure in Brampton? Indians have strong work and study ethic, so you should welcome that. I respect people who comes from other countries and working their ass off. Maybe too many around but at least they are hard workers .. Man, in one video, I hate this reporter, and in another, I love his work. In this video, good job on calling out fake students and Khalistanis. This is a very reasonable video but the problem is people start hating all the Indians and Punjabis after watching stuff like this.... I am an international student as well and i can totally understand the situation of my community student and it is not just for Indians but for other international students from some other countries are also suffering because of unfair PNP draws. The thing is that only Indian came in-front to raise their voice and media is targeting Indians to leave. This is not fair at all. At least government should provide justice to them, as every international student on work permit are doing hard work to serve the community. They should not grant extension from the beginning. Bad decision. Student visa is not working visa. Most of these Indian are coming to get residents and benefits. No intention to contribute anything to our country.

We came to Canada 5 years ago, through Student Visa ( Masters) , wanted my kids to learn english too, the pandemic hit and borders closed. Plan was return. During pandemic we had to change our visa and got the PR and got good jobs,. Met great people and decided to stay because is nice for my children. What I have to say is: there is wayyy too many Indians, we didnt want to do any school work with them, we dont want to work with them, we dont want to live in their neighborhood. ( its weird to admit it), at this point, we dont want to go to Walmart, is just their irresponsible attitude everywhere , also descendents of India (2 and 3 generarion) that I met are shocked and upset with soo many and the elementary schools are packed full portables. There is no balance. Their culture will dominate in 100 years from now. This is how immigration works. The outcomes will be seen later and will change Canadian Culture forever.

Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. You are 100% right, they are not there to upskill or even contribute. My only thoughts is Now a days, ONLY INDIAN's are hired everywhere, such as Tim hortons,security,best buy Banks,Senior Care agency,100 % ALL Canadian Business Sectors are ALL INDIANS, where are the Diverse culture,when only INDIANS are hired. Such as in Tim hortons, All will be INdIANS, All the Agencies have a INdians in Human resources and they hires only Indians. Indians are hired in 7 days after coming to Canada, everything is negotiaged from Upper level,thats their statement.For us, canadian citizens,in 2011, we had to wait 7 long moths for work permit and we were not allowed to work.Some according to my friends,only Indians'are hired,people who are canadian citizens had to wait in big line for a job. Indian dont have to wait just coming here after 7 days, they get job or hired. If one Indian's work in one office,there will be 10 Indians next week. Where are the Diverse culture now?

At some point, my father worked in the oil industry overseas. A bunch of Indians showed up wanting a managerial job, along with the hard working Americans and Europeans. The latter were confused,l. They thought that those Indians must have lacked the knowledge to read, write, or think, to demand a management position, when Americans and Europeans worked so hard to be where they are now. \n They advised the Indians to never want to see their faces again. \n I come to Canada, and see Indians and Chinese sitting in our parliament. 99% of indian international students come to work in canada and not to study.

I'm from Alberta and I have never seen a young male Indian working anywhere other than Skip, liquor stores,taxis, dump trucks. Beyond that, drug crime.

Ok working for a large grocery/retail national store where they have hired so many Indian students that they are now about 75% of the work force. All of them have no intentions of leaving Canada. They have moved to all sorts of provinces to get easier access to permanent residency. What I have noticed is they are not even trying to integrate into society but rather gather in groups. It is a bit alarming to see so many and it all seemed to have happened all of a sudden about 2-3 years ago.

I know for a fact that 95% of Indian and African students don’t even attend their first semester and withdraw before their tuitions are kept. They usually apply to private colleges. I work in social and community services. Many of them come with mental health illnesses and the parents pawn them off to Canada on the pretense of them going to school only to end up on social assistance because they can’t find work.

Truth! The majority of Indian students came to work and not study. Why? Many had borrowed money to come or had their parents borrow large amounts of money because of the financial pressures. Many became Uber drivers adn working more than the 20 hr limit per week under the table. What is Canada going to do with one million foreign students. If you actually did study and graduate then you have a good education to go home with. You people think that you can come here, not follow the rules and now you want to change the rules just to suit you.

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

These so called students are frauds, the vast majority of them were enrolled into the scam colleges in Brampton so they could bypass immigration and come to Canada and work for Indian run companies (because those companies do not hire anyone not from India), these colleges offered MC diplomas that were absolutely garbage. Indians used these colleges to get more Indians into Canada and continue to take over our country.

Why dont you see these type of protests by Indian students in USA. The reason being private colleges in Canada very well know that these students are not here to study. But still these colleges and Visa officers alllow them to enter this country. Twenty yrs back when I came to Canada to study, student visa criteria was very strict. U of Calagry only accepted students from IITs (premiere Indian colleges/uni). Also out of campus work wasnt allowed. Now most of students from India who come here in one building colleges are here to work. Canada should stop out of campus work and the problem will be solved.

As a Indian living in Canada, I apologise for the havoc some illiterate unskilled people of my country have created in this beautiful country. Students in here if they want should contribute to the Canadian economy instead of working in grocery store full time.

Indians work hard and they educate themselves. Look who’s taking over the restaurant industry in Ontario. Look at the number of doctors, IT professionals, engineers and other professions. Indians, especially Sikhs, are heavily involved in farming. We Canadians, and I’m a third generation Canadian, have become content and lazy. Most of us won’t put in the hard hours on a farm or restaurant or the hard hours and dedication to become doctors. Like it or not we need immigrants. And when Poilievre wins the next federal election you can be sure he understands what immigrants bring and how vital they are to our aging country.

They are not immigrants, they are visitors. My business needs a couple more employees, but most applications are from Indians who have no related skills and many don't even have work permits. Many work for their relatives for cash, no paperwork. We need controlled and vetted immigration of people with employable skills.

I’m Indian and I will be damned if I say I agree with you. This shouldn’t be allowed. Follow the rules. This mob culture has to stop. I work my ass off and I can’t get by. My industry went on a strike for a year and I couldn’t get a survival job. These students can move from one province to another any time they want. How is this possible. Isn’t there any law to prevent them moving from the place they came to “study” in the first place and move to another location just for PR? I waited two years to get my police verification done from all the countries I worked before my immigration application got approved. These days it’s like the immigration ministry is handing over permanent residency like candies. More over if I go to a shop ask for help I get answers in a language I don’t speak or follow. Why are we allowing this? Why can’t these guys speak English or French? Why am forced to learn Punjabi? If these guys want to create a ghetto for themselves why are they doing it here? Who’s allowing all this? What’s happening to those English language tests? I don’t care if they fulfill any of those departments that require eligible workers. Why do we have to import truck drivers and factory workers? I’m fed up with this and I wonder why Canadians aren’t worried about their country and culture and react like they do. I lived in Ottawa all my life...maybe 2015, they started coming in so fast, I've never really seen so many Indians...now they're all over the place. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just what I've noticed. And lately I have been seeing them in Gatineau but knowing Quebec has new French rule, this may not want them to go live in QC. I think Vancouver has a lot of Chinese and Indians. Just the way it is. They say white people had it too easy and just demanded more from the government whereas Asians will come here for a better life, possibly doing labor work and not complain, so is this is the government is accepting of them? Are they helping with the economy? I am not sure where where all these numbers are coming from.

Canada brings in immigrants to poorer non profitable (not paying taxes because not contributing) neighborhoods for clean up! Why because immigrants such as Indians are eagar to work and are entrepreneurs if no work is available providing more work which revives the neighborhood which in turn is profitable to the Canadian government $$. Just be glad there is not a large Mexican population in Brampton. Mexican culture is the lifestyle in the southwest USA.
