Mainly Indian government & systems have failed them as they continue with corruption & support corrupt wealthy people so everyone else is suffering and not able to live comfortably in their own country! Sometimes new generation may be better due to conditioning in schools! Honestly I have decided to stay away from a lot of desi people as often they are aggressive, competitive to toxic level, lack morals & ethics, show offs and bully the people who do want to the follow the system and better! Now there are many great Indians and do have ethics & moral. You do not feel unease around them.i just chose my friends carefully! Again immigration brings all different types of people! Many worked hard to have what thru have and are humble but this new generation is really materialistic and entitled! When one person’s bad behavior is rewarded then many follow and it become a culture of the group!

It’s getting worse here! Our prices of food are going up! Housing costs are going up and people sometimes international students share a bed with someone else they don’t know on the floor.The bus is extremely packed like sardines in a can. It’s really gross to be pressed up against Somone on the bus you don’t even know. Half the time it smells. NGL. ?

Here is something else the people need to know. Any Canadian who needs help and goes to a service canada/service ont employment agency will be discrimminated against. HOW? I have a received there program viewer for training. All of them have elegibility where you have to be a newcomer to get into free training programs. There are acouple for strictly women and black youth. ZERO LGBTQ+. In 32 pages majority are for newcomers. Acouple open to all but they wont let you in bc behind closed doors there favoring in newcomers. Canadians who have paid into system can't get help bc all most programs and services are for newcomers ....and businesses are taken advantage of lower waged workers. Immigration is hurting the country too much because they did not plan and invest. Our healthcare is disgracefull. Canadians are being abused. We have a very bad government......More people are waking up and cant handle this anymore. Cost of living is very bad. More homeless ppl and more drugs on streets,,,,gun violence are just as bad as the US now. This is not healthy immigration for the country at all.

Unfortunately Germany is not a very attractive place for immigrants for the reasons the guy mentioned. The bureaucracy is incredibly frustrating and it's not only for immigrants. I got offered a job by a very well known multi international company here and they expected me to do the visa application by myself, because they haven't dealt with it before and evidently not enough information was readily available for them to take on the process. Those who are planning to come to Germany I would say spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with how taxes will impact your salary. Insist on getting a dummy payslip with estimates of what your take home will be (because in Germany there are variables that could make an accurate estimate hard), research the average median expenses in the city or town you are moving to and be preperared to be the person who initiate contact with others. Learn the language which will make it easier to make friends (this will not happen over night as Germans by nature are not the warmest people), but in time yes. Find out whether your qualifications are comparable to those in Germany. You will be so surprise how many people don't do this check and waste their time doing courses that will not benefit them. I know it's incredibly hard to find out about this, like with everything else in this country, finding information on things isn't easy. You will need to speak to 4/5 different people, but it's worth it in the long run and saves you a lot of time.

I was born in Canada when my father was here on a temporary workpermit. But he took us back to India and that is where I grew up and completed my UG to return back to Canada. After comming back I completed my Masters and PhD and Post-doctoral studies. again I relocated back to India and lived there for another 6 years and then I moved to US. But again I moved back to Saskatoon, Canada just recently. Because I realised that Canada is the best place to live. Now I am not going anywhere else. Will live here until my last breath.

So I understand why Canadians feel they way they do. Especially the ones born and raised here. I'm 31, was born here, and I often feel the same way everyone else does. The only problem that I see is that the issues that are in Canada are also in every other Western country. I'm concerned with the future, but I also know that throughout every generation, there are ups and downs. I'm willing to stick it out. I live outside of Toronto,I love the lack of natural disasters and access to water, and I still feel very safe. Although crime is up, it is nothing compared to the U.S. \n\nI'm actually living quite comfortably. Although my costs have gone up, I have made smart decisions in my life that allow me to live well. I own my own house, don't have car or credit card debt, and I only need to earn 40k a year to cover all of my bills. Every cent extra I earn goes to paying down my mortgage, gym, and golf once a week. \n\nThe question is, is it better l elsewhere? I don't know, but I am trying to be happy with what I have instead of what I could have had by being born 30 years too late. Ultimately, I would rather stay here work within the system to change it and continue to make smart decisions that put me ahead. Starting out all over again makes my stomach sick, and I love this country, despite it's flaws and its government, it has great people and beautiful nature. \n\nBest wishes to all of you other Canadians, and let's make it the Canada we want and deserve again.

Anyone else notice that when you call a Canadian Government Facility 80% of the time its always someone who barely speaks English? Just a weird observation i noticed recently. It makes stuff very confusing.

How about zero? Like what is he thinking ? Calgary has around 10% unemployment , they say it’s lower like 6 or 8% . When it’s that high then it should be zero. I'm sorry, but being persecuted somewhere else in the world shouldn't qualify you for Canadian citizenship. To be a Canadian citizen you should be a good fit with the rest of Canada (and existing Canadians should get to decide how that works). Systematic racism is a part of the system. I am a civil servant scientist working in a French lab. Before joining my new position, I worked 6 months at KIT which is considered top 3 ranked university in Germany. The way I was treated was not right for me. I am a dutch citizen who worked in academia in different countries, including Japan, US. The only place I faced racism at academic level was Germany. The head of group allows him/herself to infer into your personal life just because they can fire you anytime they want. The only country which has 6 months of probation is Germany, nowhere else keeping you like a hostage to shape you as their slave and if you do not obey, you are fired. Sorry but Germans are the ones taling their country down big time. They gotta first how to not live in WW2. They feel yet as if they are a better race and others just modern slaves.

taxes are too high, too much government demands on business owner. I saw that at age 19, graduated vet school and left asap... so glad I did. Canada is beautiful and Canadians are generally amazing, nice and fun loving but they don't have much extra money to spend on their pets or much else due to the tax and spend government!

Toronto real estate is like a tube of toothpaste that only has a little bit of paste up around the cap. It is now one of the worst investment products in the world because someone else already took all of the profit out of the system. In other words, they have brushed their teeth a lot and the tube is basically spent. Deploying money into the market in 2008 was brilliant. Doing that in 2024 is financial suicide as their nothing left in the tube for profit. Will an interest rate fix that fundamental problem? Would you buy a nearly empty tube of toothpaste for the same prices as a full one? Why would you waste your money on such a profoundly over-valued asset class? The emperor is not wearing any clothes... its not a new see-through type of clothing! No matter how expensive rent is, at least you can keep your savings for something more profitable.

Now Imagine How Native Canadians feel every time they see a European calling him/herself as a real Canadian. You don't see future in Canada, but you can return back to your home country. But for Native Canadians, they don't have present and they can't go anywhere else, bcz its their home land, home country. It's like someone comes to your house as a guest, then they force you to live in one corner while captures the rest of the house and now even give some rooms of your house on rent, and takes that rent, gives you no facility, nothing. I'm intending to leave London, where I own my flat, but I'll sell instead of renting, further reducing available rental properties.
