5. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AWAKE—WE WILL NOT FALL FOR THIS\n\nTo CNN and the mainstream media: We know you are lying. You have lost control of the narrative, and the American people see through your propaganda.\n\nTo Justin Trudeau: You are a puppet, and your attempts to manipulate Americans will fail.\n\nTo President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance: The American people stand with you. We know you are fighting for our country, and we will not be fooled by the lies of the globalist elite.\n\nTo Elon Musk: Keep exposing the truth. The deep state is afraid because they can no longer censor real information.\n\nTo every American reading this: Share this message before they try to silence it.\n\nTHIS IS NOT ABOUT TRADE. THIS IS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF AMERICA.\nTHE DEEP STATE IS PANICKING—AND THAT MEANS WE ARE WINNING.\n\n? AMERICA FIRST. 1776 WILL NOT BE ERASED. ?

From The Netherlands: The Canadians stand for the free world and free trade. Inspiring example for Europa!

We do not choose as allies those who jail truck drivers and preachers for exercising their rights of free speech and religion. \n\nCanada is not a democracy and it is not friendly to the American people in its present state. Return freedoms to your people, pay the entire amount of your arrears to your military budget as per your NATO membership and shut down illegal immigration and drug trafficking at your border and even the trade balance then we can talk.

Crude is a socialist. What he doesn't realize is that trumps and America is sick and tired of Canada and the rest of the world taking advantage of America trade fair. That's all it is you want, freedom. You want fairness pay your own fair share in this world. We've been protecting you for years. You've been taking advantage of. Trade deals for years. Time for you to pay up pal

Canada should shut the lights out on the US north east and turn off the oil and gas pipelines. Just a day or two. That should educate Trump as his maga morons that our relationship is reciprocal and mutually beneficial. The most recent trade agreement was negotiated and signed by Trump himself and he hailed it as the best trade deal ever.

2. TRUDEAU IS JUST A PUPPET FOR THE GLOBAL ELITES\n\nCanadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is not defending Canada—he is defending the deep state agenda.\n\n? Ask yourself: Why is Trudeau more upset about Trump’s tariffs than he is about China’s infiltration of Canada?\n? Ask yourself: Why is Trudeau defending globalist trade deals instead of fighting to keep Canada’s economy strong?\n? Ask yourself: Why is Trudeau suddenly trying to turn Americans against Trump right as NATO and the EU are pushing for war?\n\nBECAUSE THIS IS A COORDINATED ATTACK.\n\n? Trudeau is panicking because Trump is taking away their power.\n? Trudeau is working with the globalists to weaken America.\n? Trudeau knows his country depends on the U.S., and if America stops playing their game, Canada collapses too.\n\nThis is why he is attacking Trump, calling him “dumb” on CNN, and trying to manipulate the American people into turning against their own president.

Fine, canada will be crushed, they can not afford a trade war with the US. Crazy how hard Trudeau wants canada to be America's 51st state, well 52nd state if you know your history.

Trudeau must go as well as all the deep state suporting him and al europea country. those guys hurt us more than any trade war through there macabre plitics and decisions along there presidency.

Over the decades, the dollars only fluctuated a few cents up, or down between Canada's dollar and America's dollar pretty much canada is like another state. To have a trade war with Canada is just stupid. There's no other way to put it stupid

1. THE REAL REASON TRUMP IMPOSED TARIFFS\n\nThe global elites hated when Trump stood up to them. Why? Because for decades, they used trade agreements to weaken the U.S., steal American jobs, and enrich foreign nations at the expense of hardworking Americans.\n\n? Trump’s tariffs on Canada and Mexico were NEVER about war.\n? They were about fixing the disastrous trade policies that robbed America.\n? They were about holding globalist-controlled governments accountable.\n\nThe media won’t tell you that Canada and Mexico have been taking advantage of the U.S. through unfair trade deals while at the same time allowing the floodgates of illegal immigration and drugs to pour into our country.\n\t•\tCanada benefited from one-sided trade deals while standing by as China dumped goods into the U.S. through Canadian ports.\n\t•\tMexico allowed cartels to smuggle in drugs, human traffickers, and illegal immigrants, all while American jobs were shipped overseas.\n\nTrump’s tariffs were a move to put AMERICA FIRST, not an attack on our neighbors. He was forcing them to negotiate fairly—something the corrupt elites NEVER wanted.

This trade war is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Trump is doing it just to prove his “power”. To my foolish fellow Americans who voted for the Orange idiot- YOU OWN THIS.
|

This trade war has nothing to do with fentanyl, Trump is a turncoat aka treasonous person who has been working with Russia all along and is using any and all excuses to cause people to look at anything else but him as he lines the pockets of his billionaire buddies because America gave him that when they said a president can't be charged for anything they do while serving in the White house. Thanks a lot supreme court and to all those that voted for him...... I hope you all get deported and lose all your money for putting us Normal non radicalized Americans through h3!!. It's insane how people are so blined that they know he lies and is a criminal and when hit with hard facts he calls it fake news and they all believe it. My own mother in law is one too. I hate this

Friends and allies don’t screw their neighbors with massive trade deficits. Equal is equal. Deficit is deficit. Words have meanings.

Dont forget Canada applies tariffs on a variety of goods imported from the United States, but the specific goods subject to tariffs can vary depending on the trade agreements in place, as well as individual circumstances and trade disputes. Some of the key categories of goods that have historically been subject to tariffs or trade restrictions between the two countries include:\n\t1.\tAgricultural Products:\n\t•\tDairy products: Canada has a system of supply management in place for dairy, poultry, and eggs. As a result, certain U.S. agricultural products, particularly dairy, face higher tariffs when imported into Canada.\n\t•\tPoultry and eggs: Similar to dairy, tariffs are applied to U.S. poultry and eggs under Canada’s supply management system.\n\t•\tBeef and pork: Canada has historically imposed tariffs on U.S. beef and pork, although these are often adjusted or reduced under trade agreements like the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement).\n\t2.\tSteel and Aluminum:\n\t•\tCanada imposed tariffs on certain U.S. steel and aluminum products after the United States imposed tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum in 2018 under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. However, in 2019, both countries reached an agreement to remove some tariffs, although certain products may still be subject to tariffs or quotas.\n\t3.\tLumber:\n\t•\tSoftwood lumber is another contentious issue in U.S.-Canada trade. Canada has faced tariffs on its softwood lumber exports to the U.S. for many years, and there have been instances where Canada has applied retaliatory tariffs in response to U.S. actions.\n\t4.\tConsumer Goods and Electronics:\n\t•\tSome consumer goods, like electronics, furniture, and vehicles, may have tariffs or duties imposed depending on the category, though the majority of goods between the U.S. and Canada are traded tariff-free under the USMCA, which replaced NAFTA.\n\t5.\tAlcohol and Tobacco:\n\t•\tCanada applies tariffs and duties on alcohol and tobacco products imported from the U.S., but these are often subject to specific regulations and agreements.

CANADIANS ARE REASONABLE, OUR PRIME MINISTER IS THE LUNATIC.\nJUSTIN WANTS TO KEEP THE WAR GOING IN UKRAINE. TRUMP WANTS IT TO END.\nJUSTIN IS A HOMICIDAL MANIAC. AS FOR A TRADE WAR, THIS IS NOT A TRADE WAR. TRUMP IS BRINGING THE WORK BACK TO NORTH AMERICA. TRUDEAU THE GLOBALIST WANTS TO KEEP MAKING A COMMUNIST DICTATORSHIP WEALTHY.\nWE PAID 7 % PST BEFORE FREE TRADE. 15 % AFTER.\nTHATS NOT FREE TRADE. CANADIANS NOW PAY CHINAS TARIFFS.\nMULROONEY GAVE BUSH SRS EULOGY. WHO SOLD CANADA OUT TO GLOBALISTS. THE BUSH FAMILY CHASED ROSS PEROT OFF.

It’s so cute how this little man thinks Canada is a force to be reckoned with! And liberals continue to show how TDS has rendered them thoughtless. The power IMBALANCE between Canada and America is HUGE! America doesn’t need Canada, but Canada needs america! And let’s not forget that the only reason Canada exports AMERICAN cars into America is because of Bill Clinton and his awful and destructive NAFTA trade deal, which also sent American car manufacturers to Mexico. Have you seen Detroit? It’s a ghost town BECAUSE of liberal democrat policies!

It’s very sad to see what is happening in the us. Thousands of jobs gone already, trade wars will cost who knows how many more. Musk as Trumps right hand man, the guy who wants to have 500,000 robots by 2027. No connection I am sure!!!

If I really want to make sense of all this non sense, in this 'alternative truth world', I will say that, in fact, Trump is surprisingly the best advocate for sustainable development! Because, if the tariffs have the expected consequences, trade between both your countries will decrease, meaning less trucks on the roads, meaning less fossiles fuels, less production, less consumption, meaning less emissions of CO2. Is it what Trump really wants?

I can understand the tariffs on China as they are close to being more powerful than the USA… but why a trade war with Canada?? ?

Funny how Canada has had tariffs on US goods for decades but the moment USA institute tariffs were in a trade war??
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
As an American and stock investor, I firmly believe that Canada should just ban the export of goods, services and energy products to the US and increase their trade with other countries with the condition that trade will be unbanned once the entire GOP is removed from political power in all three branches of the US. They would be removed either willingly or not within days if not hours.

Norway stand with you Canada in support, you held a good speech??!\n\nI look forward to seeing the outcome of the tariffs the U.S. imposes on other countries, which are then retaliated against. When the U.S. imposes tariffs on other countries and those countries retaliate, it can lead to several negative consequences. First, American consumers may face higher prices on both imported and domestic goods affected by retaliatory tariffs. U.S. exporters could lose market share in key markets, and American companies relying on global supply chains may experience higher costs. This could also trigger trade wars, reducing global trade and hindering economic growth. Increased uncertainty may reduce investments in the U.S., and in the long term, the U.S. could lose economic influence if other countries form alternative trade agreements. Countries turning their backs on the U.S. will eventually lead to the U.S. isolating itself. We can continue to trade among ourselves, build growth together, and watch the U.S. crumble from the outside. By the way i also respect and love the American people, just not the goverment today and how they treat others, allies and friends.

The best and the worst thing about Trump is that he polarizes people. Watching the world react to how he treats Ukraine, his trade wars, as well as threats to violently steal land from allies, really lets true leaders shine! ?

Let us be crystal clear, what's happening now, from abandoning alliances, to siding with adversaries, to starting trade wars with our largest trading partners, is the fault of a single man, Donald Trump, while being enabled by Congressional Republicans.\n\nMake no mistake, American businesses and consumers are going to pay a dear price for the decisions of this administration.\n\nLastly, trade is the remit of Congress from a constitutional perspective. Unfortunately, Congress has progressively ceded their authority to the Executive over the past decades. They simply must retake their power at the earliest possible opportunity.

Let's trade with China that's the only way Trump understands other than boobs
|
| 2025-03-04 | 0 |
The question that needs to be asked is what’s Trump’s moneymaking angle on imposing tariffs. Trump only does stuff where he personally can make money. Somebody or some group or entity is paying him somehow to impose tariffs on America’s main trading partner and ally. That’s the only way this makes any sense.

Leaders need to address each other with respect and avoid fighting,it ain't cool when we see these two biological brothers Canada and USA fighting in a trade war, instead of fighting they should calm down and negotiate.
