This is a reaction to the potential loss of their student visas, not some jumping the queue scheme. The changes in the student visa system has created this temporary panic. A student who is in second or third year has already spent a lot of money to get an education and then lose that money and not have a degree. The years and money would be lost, then they would have to go through the process again in other country has caused this. Many of these student will remain as students and get their degrees and go home as they have in the past. Our university have had foreign students forever and it has worked. The anti-immigrant trolls should be ashamed. We are all immigrants here, unless we are aboriginal so we shouldn't point fingers. All got min 5 to 6 years stay at canada legally and if their visa period going to complete and they are unable to get the pr then simply return to their native countries instead of deportation order from the Government. If deportation stamp affixed in the passport then most countries will not allow visa in future.
