Something I thouht why our ancestors fought with these English people to see this situation of their children again gone these countries and get abused. I think main reasons for this situation we are struggling with basic needs due to high level of courruption in country.

I'm not against immigration, but in moderation. My best friend in grade 6 was and Indian girl, that was a long time ago. I have friends of all backgrounds, but we need equality and diversity spread out! We can't have immigrants piled into one area taking it over and having all the other cultures leave. That's not proper immigration or diversity. When my child's school has to recognize Ramadan and other ethnic holidays, it's not right. WE didn't move to India, they came here. THEY must adopt our cultural ways in public. Wear what you want, but don't force my city, my children to adopt your ways.

On top of that they breed 8-10 children, 1 person works in a family unit, collect government assistance and speak no to little English.

A trick they use to beat taxes: they put their homes in their children's names, then their children charge them rent that never gets paid. The children are still under the limit for what theyd need to be to file a tax return. Tack on a few rental subsidies and tax breaks...???

Being an immigrant myself I have to say that what one might see happening in Brampton happens to another cities as the result of sexual revolution, abortion and the destruction of the family that came to be in Canada since the 70s. I’m a Canadian citizen and married to a Canadian born citizen and we have talked about this many times. In order to recover this country families need to have more autonomy on raising children but also parents have to be more involved. It’s true there’s a lot of Indians everywhere and guess what they tend to keep their values. Here in Canada as per my understanding people used to pray the Our Father in public schools and children used to get bibles, families used to go to church and now? \nThere needs to be a very big swift in policies and others but the biggest swift needs to come from families within.

You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

I think Surrey, BC would give Brampton a run for the money on that title. 30 years ago Surrey was known as Little India. There are street signs that are not in English or French but in Punjabi. When my children were small, the notices from school were written in English, Punjabi & Korean.

The reason for immigration is because Canadians are not producing enough children.

Here in England we are happy with our Indians, the Sikhs and Hindus dont bother anyone and are law abiding. Whereas the muslims esp Pakistanis are constantly grooming our children and women, pushing their religion on us etc. I find it odd that so many Canadians have an issue with Indians. Stop being racist for your own failures in life. Indians in the US UK AUS and Canada have the best education rates, their children excel in Math and Sciences, they have good family morals and values. They arent being handed everything like other communities. I have worked with all types and Indians, Chinese and Jews are successful for a reason. The immigration levels are way too high we can agree on that but stop with the racist crap. I have rented out properties to Indians, Africans, Whites, and ill tell you straight up I have had the whites and blacks skip paying rent and they trashed my apartment in Hamilton ON. The Indian family that i rented to never caused any issues for me.

I lived on brampton a year after moving to canada, 1977. Went to high school there. I escaped after all of these years, i really have a hard time visiting some of my friends that are left there. The biggest issue i see is that there are multiple families in a sinhle family dwelling, and if you do the math, the schoolbosrd is always inthe red and looking for money. Simply put, yhe education levy on property tax generally is meant to cover 2 children per single family dwelling, not 6 not 8. Hod forbid something happens to you, it is quicly covered up otherwise race gets brought into the mix. I was rear ended by an indian lady 5 years ago, she was charged, i was a lame duck at a red light, could not move as i would hsve been tboned. She was charged but she fought it in court, i was contacted to confirm my appearance from the police officer that was first on the scene the day before the trial, the subpoena was never senr by tge prosecutors office. The prosecutor was angry that i showed up, he had already made a deal with her and dismissed all charges. Would thd same stick have bern used if i rear ended her. I can confirm if your kid gets really sick in ottawa, canada’s capitol, it takes 3 days just to get triaged and no walk in clinic will treat children under 3. I grew up in Windsor, across from Detroit. It’s entirely different city every 10 years now. The only people actually staying here have it rough, most pass through. Housing is insane, over population is insane, never owning a house is incredibly depressing. But what I miss most is the simple traditions. Like men actually being men, holding doors, saying hello to those you don’t want to. Being gentleman like always, showing respect, giving up seats for older women & children.
