A society where people are not allowed to carry any tools to defend themselves. The police didnt even get there a day later. what a joke. The police will protect you they say. This lady could have gotten hurt or even killed. Canada is a joke. Asians here in the US are all carrying defensive tools such as pepper spray and firearms. Our right to defend ourselves has not been infringed by a tyrannical government like the one you have in Canada.

I'm an immigrant from El Salvador, I got in Canada with refugee status. I'm not rich or have a wealthy family. I have lived in both US and Canada, I have been in Canada for a long time now and would never go to the US. I also live in Edmonton and it is not even close to anything like they say it is. For them to say it's cold why would you stay. I say it's better than getting framed by corrupt cops.

If they our and the govt is still letting planes in from china , in from virus hot spots, other countries it's not being prejudice worrying about catching co vid , getting sick may be dying , the govt , the tv media it's there fault they have put so much fear into the population , plus on CBC , global a infectious disease expert said 15 percent of the cases were from international essential travelers in two months 270 came to Canada, example say 20 confirm 3 our from international essential tavelers , about mask, how come cases our going up as soon as they make people ware mask, grocery stores, all workers and people keep touching them , letting them down for a second to catch there breath,, scratching there face , now it's contaminated , it's the same with the whole country , carry alcohol and a running water, carrying a sink around all the time to be 100 percent safe from wearing mask.\n, in hospital medical professional , even touch there mask , face too , get contaminated ,so how do you think 2 years and above can have that kind of control. When you say Canada, Focus on Toronto, \nI live in BC, Peaceful people over here. Obviously there’s people that is indoctrinated but I don’t see even quarter of what going on in the states,\nbut we definitely need the government and media to stop separating us. What I have noticed all my life living in Canada is Caucasians don't like hearing the truth about anything where they are feel they are being made to look like the villain, but the objective is not to make anyone feel like they're on trial but to start acknowledging that this is going on regardless of if you've ever experienced/seen it or not. The reason Caucasians don't see it is because of what they call White Privilege. Caucasians will never have to deal with the subtleties of racism that minorities face everyday because they will never be treated that way even in other countries they visit or live. Many Caucasians aren't aware that stereotyping is racism as you will notice them say the weirdest things and make really weird assumptions like calling a Korean woman Chinese or mistaking a Hindu or Sikh for someone Islamic, which you should never do. Cultural insensitivity happens here because many Caucasians don't care much to learn about another culture and because of this there's it's creating even more issues. The race problem is Canada is huge and people are trying to say that it isn't but in the coming years more and more evidence is going to come out to the point where it will be irrefutable and there will either be a reform or civil war.

Racism exists the world over in every country and if you go looking for it you will find it even in the most tolerant nation, not saying that is or isn't Canada.

Originally this comment was like the size of a book talking about just some of the specific examples of Police and civilian racism I witnessed with my own Caucasian eyes in this country. I am extremely patriotic and I love being Canadian but I have been saying for years that we have problems when it comes to racism but no one here wants to even acknowledge it. Of course we're not as bad as our neighbors but at least they talk about it and seem to want to come to terms with their bigotry and institutionalized racism in society. As long as we keep pretending we don't TO THIS DAY have an ongoing history with systemic racism in politics, policing and even in the workplace than we will never in real life be the actual Canada we try to tell the world and ourselves we really are and that makes me deeply sad and ashamed.

This is for everyone who says why don't you speak English when there in English speaking country well to you Canadian and other people why dont you learn other people's languages when you go on vacation hmm....? Stop expecting the world to conform to your will. I was in Madrid Spain and this Canadian couple didn't even bother learning Spanish when they spoke to us and ask for help. They expect us to conform to them when they are on vacation in a non english speaking country you can't have it both ways that double standard right there.

Even in small towns racism is rampant, its everywhere, those who say racism doesn't exist are white

While the Muslim thing might make some people feel bad an let me say this by no means, I'm I taking up for what these people said. Jesus said live even our enemies an that's what I am going to do \n\nWhile I do not agree with what they said. Their is one thing for sure. When something happens you don't hear muslims coming out condemning what has happened that much. An people are angry at what some do \n\nWhen you don't see any one coming out to call out people for what they have done or saying anything at all. Mostly what you see is people clapping a cheering. Racism is real and it does exist whether we like it or not. When I went to college, this white girl was so disrespectful and rude. She always look down on students except some white students as if she is superior than us. Most of white people, I have met are racists because I can tell even though they won’t say they are.

I'm not white, have lived in Canada for 40+ years, and I have never been been racially profiled or been a victim of any blatant racism. Even now, living outside the GTA where it's less diverse, I've yet to experience any issues. I'm not saying those issues don't exist, but the first step to overcoming those problems is to stop with your own victim mentality. Not everything is about race, but that's the always the scapegoat for many when they fail at life.

Only permanent residents are required to physically live in Canada for at least 6 months in a year to maintain their PR status. And to qualify for citizenship they need to have maintained this status for at least 3 years before they apply. The video doesn't say what happened to those who became citizens through this fraudulent means. They should be stripped of their citizenship and even deported.

I find it to be swept under the carpet as far as racism is concerned, they smile in front of you but behind you they Stab you in the back .well the Americans is right up front I can work with you but I won’t socialize with you, at least you’re truthful.\n\n I find Canadians to be very two face , Hidden they true feeling and pretend a lot . Glad to see organizations like the black fathers and many that were not part of this documentary. I also want more ppl to think about families who have fathers that are emotionally unavailable/ are workaholics or are just puppet dads. This is often overlooked. There are females who stay with deadbeat males out of fear of societal shaming/ fear of being along and decide to stay even though the guy doesn't provide any support... I'm other words, males who create families but are not emotionally there so to say, that in many ways can be super problematic and disastrous for the family dynamic especially for the women and the children.

It doesn't matter where you travel. If your color is the minority, you will feel the effects of it. Just try walking into a Indian store or Muslim store as a white or black person. They won't say a word to you even they speak English. Though they will be talking away friendly to there own.

I am Latino, more or less capuccino skin (with extra milk), I can say that racial experiments here would be very interesting. I finnished university and have experience in my field. I've been looking for a job for a while, not much luck, I'm don't get called to interviews that much, I only get calls from agents that show me positions in company that I apply for but 90% of the time get rejected right away. \n\nI have white friends, one of them didn't study university. It hasn't been easy for him either, but he's pretty lazy, I know for a fact he didn't search much and got 7 interviews in 3 months while I hardly got called for 3 companies with the help of 5 agents. He got a job for which he needed training, I got rejected for that job and I do have experience in that field. I have to say it hurts. Funny thing, even he says it's suspicious because he couldn't answer many questions on the interview

For me I will say I hate going to Walmart especially when going through the self check and I'll have 2 items and they was sitting at there spot until I ring up then all of a sudden they're in front of me acting like they grabbing air. Ive read much about the philosophy and history of the Sikh people and faith, and have immense respect for them. Even though historically they have been opressed by some muslims kingdoms, mostly today I see that they are able to put aside old history for a bette future, and for holding on to the tennants of their faith and philosophy. I'm really not sure what Trudeau said to make him and other undocumented immigrants buy into this fallacy, but its a known fact that immigration to Canada is strict. Its actually far more stringent than even the US. He also does not qualify for asylum after having lived in the US for 15 years. I'm just confused about this whole thing? Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Ironically its non-white Canadians i had funny experiences with.... from dating to renting its weird\n\n\nAsians under 27 always asking some crazy questions ( Are you an NBA player ) lol it's cute at first but after a while when little koreans walk up to me talking about ( You look like will smith ) it makes you think... To be fair these are not inherent negatives, But asian canadians alone did treat me weird i found, Indian girls i met all wanted to be with me but where also very ashamed to say so or let their family know, but thats a cultural thing so i understood.\n\n\n Of all the demographics White canadian and native men where the most welcoming and open to me, in my experience.. This test is a bit flawed. I’m white and I have been profiled my whole life. Get rid of the preppy looking white dude a put a white guy in there that has a couple tattoos and your entire test falls apart. With my tattoos I guess you can say I’m a colored person as well.\n\nStereotypes are true... How do you think they become stereotypical.
